| | | UPDATED: Rupert on Red Nose Day 2005 tonight
Rupert previously participated in Celebrity Bogies with Dic and Dom (from ' Dic and Dom in da Bungalow') on Monday and won. As a result, he appeared today in the finale of the Pro Celebrity Bogies championship however Sara Cox (a Radio 1 DJ he participated with) and Rupert lost to Dic and Dom.
The game involved all four running around Madame Tussaud's shouting 'bogies' as loud as they possibly could. Later on in the evening, as a part of the Red Nose Day festivities, Sara and Rupert presented Dic and Dom with the winning cup and then proceeded to cover them in gunge!
The game, Pro Celebrity Bogies, featured in the run up to Comic Relief and Red Nose Day 2005, a day dedicated to raising money through the use of comedy, for those suffering in Africa and the UK in a 60/40 split.
To see a video and pictures from Rupert's previous appearance, which involved a game of Bogies at the National Gallery in London, go here.
To read what Sara Cox thought of Rupert when they filmed their sketch together, go here.
I will post pictures from today's appearance as soon as I can.
And, in case you're wondering, yes I managed to miss this one too! DOH! It was previously said that his sketch would air at 7:30PM but then, in the end, was shown around 7:00PM instead! UPDATE: A Gallery of pictures of Rupert from today's appearance can be seen here courtesy of Rupert Fixation.
Our red-headed friend wore a t-shirt saying 'I <3 old people'. UPDATE #2: A video of the appearance is now avaliable courtesy of RGMS and Mugglenet.
The file can be downloaded from here. |

I saw the show tonight!!!
It was really funny, and I heard they raised more than £1million pounds now for Africa!!!
Unfortunately Rupert and Sara loss against the pro's Dic and Dom, the match was close but Dic and Dom did a double team scream and reached the highest scream ever on the game!!!

The event in 2003 raised over £60million so we have a LONG way to go but there's still the rest of the night to go!
If anyone wishes to read about the event and/or give donations, please go to the Red Nose Day 2005 links provided!
It's an EXTREMELY worthwhile cause!
The fact that the 'red noses' became sold out all over the country proves the extent of the giving of the British people. I don't think they've EVER sold out before!

True...but I only made an estimation of more than £1miilion, I'm sure they raised more than that!!! And true we still got the whole night to go!!! I wonder how much we will raise this year!!!

I just watched Comic Relief that we recorded. I was in hysterical laughter over 'Pro Celebrity Bogies' and 'Little Britain' which i had been waiting for for ages. I'm so glad Fdith won as well, she was briliant throughout the whole thing and so was Adrian (who is a genius). I heard on the radio that tis year the total amount of money raised topped last year's total on the night with £38 million (!) but the money is still rolling in to reach £60 million again. It's a fantastic cause!

Absolutely hilarious! I was at a friends house this weekend, so I had to watch the videos there and then we went everywhere shouting "bogies" and people just looked us. LOL Her son is 9 and he just gets a big kick out of doing that.
I loved Rupert's shirt. |
