| | |  The writings of JKR to be archived in a digital repository?
The Scotsman reports that the National Library of Scotland plans to archive blogs, journals and e-mails written by leading Scots - with the possibility of including the online writings of J.K.Rowling. A £1.8million grant has been secured for the project which would store potential manuscripts of the 21st Century. Quote:
Simon Bains, the digital library manager of the NLS, said: "We won't be preserving everything - we'll select what appears to be of cultural significance from online journals, websites, blogs and e-mails.
"We'll be harvesting the work of prominent cultural figures, but also other interesting social history documents."

Wow. I like the idea of JKR's online writings being stored and secured like this.
I was about to say "to keep her words forever" but..ahh..she wrote HP. We all know that's going to stand the test of time.
Which reminds me...I haven't checked her site for a while now. Bad Cheeky...

That is great that Scotland's famous authors and historical figures online. Hopefully, JK will be on there as well. She has written a world famous book and she should be recognized for this.
