| | |  Rita Skeeter not in Half-Blood Prince?
It is being reported that Rita Skeeter, played by Miranda Richardson in Goblet of Fire, will not be featured in Half-Blood Prince. Her character, although present in Order of the Phoenix, failed to make the film version and apparently won't be seen at Dumbledore's funeral in the sixth. Quote: |
She says, "Well, if I am in it, they haven't told me! I don't know why. I think it is because they like to bring in new characters. I'm not upset about it. I'm just enjoying life and seeing other people's work."

I knew she wasn't going to be in it. I read some interview where she said she refused to do any more HP movies because she didn't like being in sequels. Oh well, it's not like she played much of a part other than background... | |
