| | |  Rade Serbedzija talks Gregorovitch & Deathly Hallows costars
Actor Rade Serbedzija, who was cast as famous wandmaker Gregorovitch, recently spoke about filming scenes for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, as well as meeting costars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Tom Felton. A loose English translation can be read below.
Rade talks about working with Ralph Fiennes; Gregorovitch and Voldemort were seen together in one of Harry's dream sequences, where the Dark Lord killed the wandmaker. Quote:
I liked the role and it seems to me that we captured it well. Although for me, no matter how talented the director and actors are in this story, this type of film does not interest me in particular. But it does my daughters, including Lucia, who were excited for me to shoot Harry Potter. Gregorovich's role is quite important because of him in it explains a lot. I have only scenes with Ralph Fiennes, which made me especially happy because he is an amazing actor, and also, somehow, we made friends.
On meeting the three actors: Quote:
It was really fun for me to meet famous actors like Radcliffe, Grint and Tom Felton, who plays the villain Malfoy, screaming and singing: ' Boris the Blade.' That was my role in the film 'Snatch' by Guy Ritchie.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will be released exactly a year from today, November 19, 2010; the second part will be out July 15, 2011.

Interesting...I really dislike it when some of the adult actors try to act like they're above Harry Potter or something. It's not just for kids. Tons of adults like it too, but they always act like it's only for their kids. Lame. But whatever, I can't wait to see this movie. I'm really happy they kept in all the Gregorivitch stuff. 
Sometimes I think they dumb the storyline down in the movies because they're trying to target people who haven't read the books and also younger kids who might not understand the complicated storyline. So it's nice to see that they're not doing that with the DH movie.  | |
