| | | Potter cast help Tsunami Relief
Daniel Radcliffe has contributed an autographed Harry Potter Crew T-Shirt from the ' Philosopher's Stone' film for a charity fundraiser raising money for the Tsunami disaster relief efforts. Quote:
Daniel Radcliffe, who has played the leading role in every 'Harry Potter' film, has signed his personal Hogwarts crew T shirt - it is the one he wore during the making of the first film, 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' and is unique to the production team.
The items will be auctioned off by Clothes Agency.
Emma Thompson (Trelawney) has donated a Richard Tyler couture gown. Quote:
We are most grateful to her for taking time out of her hectic schedule to donate this wonderful dress which was made for her by Richard Tyler and worn to a Vanity Fair party in Los Angeles.
She has attached a note with the dress that reads ..."Dear Guest and supporter - this exquisite gown was made for me and worn in Los Angeles in 1997 at a huge Vanity Fair 'do' where I sat next to Gore Vidal. Thanks and best wishes! Emma Thompson.
The current bid for Dan's item is £75.00
The current bid for Emma's is £50.00
Bidding is now open and will remain open until March 13th.
All proceeds will benefit the Re-Building Sri Lanka fund which is dedicated to helping rebuild Sri Lanka after the devastating tsunami which struck in December.

I clicked on the link and looked- it tells you how many bids were placed and what the bid is currently at. And, I pop in every once in a while, so I can be disappointed (grrrr... sorry, I'm still bitter about the ringtone thing).
(note: bid for the tee is now 115 pounds and the dress at 200)

That's awsome. It's nice that they're doing that.
Um, about the ringtone thing, yeah it sucks, but there is a way to beat it. I assume you have the PoA soundtrack. Well, if your phone has one of those things where you can record yourself on some 'memo' thingy, record Hedwig's Theme ( or any other song for that matter ) and then choose the option to "set as" or "use as ringtone". *cough cough* It'll be a bit of a less quality sound, but would you rather pay for something you problably won't be able to use?
