| | |  New comprehensive DVD/Blu-ray Harry Potter film collection to be released in 2012
Warner Home Video announced that they will release an even more comprehensive box set of all eight Harry Potter films in DVD and Blu-ray in 2012. At the moment details are limited, however the news has been announced; do recall that Warner Bros announced last month that new sales for the Harry Potter films will stop in the U.S. on December 29, 2011, but that will change when the new sets are released.
A tentative date has not been released as of yet; we will of course update when new information on the extensive sets is released. The press release, sent to SnitchSeeker by WHV, is below (note that the box art seen below is for the complete collection set to be released on November 11 in the U.S.). i wonder if they realize that I can't just keep buying harry potter movies... I don't mind but my wallet does! And if these comprehensive sets have new extras and deleted scenes, I'll have to buy them!!

Whilst I'm sure this box set will be great to add to my collection (as per image provided), there's nothing special about it. It's just 1-8 in a box. I'd rather wait for something bigger and better next year. The only blurays i've purchased are the ultimate editions, and I will be quite devastated if they do not continue with their release of Hallows 1, and 2, it will just mean 1-6 ultimate editions were such a waste.
