| | | Mrs Weasley one of Julie's 'best' roles
Julie Walters recently did an interview with We Love Telly! magazine to promote "Ahead of the Class" a drama she stars in that will air on Sunday at 9PM on ITV. The article includes Mrs Weasley as one of Julie's 'best' roles. Quote:
Harry Potter
Julie has made the role of Molly Weasley her own. "It has been such a fun role. Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry, is really sweet, and all the Weasley boys are lovely, too."
According to the publication, Julie's other 'best' roles are from; Billy Elliot, Calendar Girls, Educating Rita and Dinnerladies.
How ironic it is that this 'news' comes about just after we learn that Mrs Weasley has been given the chop for the fourth Potter film, 'Goblet of Fire'.

Yeah, that is sad that she won't be in GoF, but that's also a sign of how good she is in that role

I still haven't seen Calendar Girls.
Yesh, I think she has portrayed Mrs. Weasley very well.
Thanks for the info! :sorcerer:

That's strange about them not using her in GOF. I guess the scene where family members show up to support the 'Champions' won't be in the film, since she was there to support Harry.
She is a wonderful actress. I wish we had more access to British TV here in the US. I'm always soooo jealous when shows she will be on are talked of, and I can't see any of them.

I haven`t got ant opportunity to watch much films with her participation.
But Mrs. Weasley is definitely great role. I like her!
However, I was surprised that he won`t in the GoF. Maybe, it`s sad for her?

She is so great at playing nutty old women like Mrs Overall or the mother in dinnerladies and is also brilliant at more serious roles like in Billy Elliot. I also love her as Mrs Weasley.

I love Julie Walters with all my heart (but I am biased since she comes from my end of the world!) I was so excited when I first heard she was going to play Mrs Weasley - she's absolutely perfect... so i'm very sad that she won't be in GoF *sob*....
I don't think I've ever seen her in something I didn't like...
