Mary Grandpre, who has drawn the cover and chapter art for all seven Harry Potter US editions of the books, will be illustrating 25 character sketches from the series to benefit the Forty Carrots Family Center Capital Campaign at the Masters Art Festival at Payne Park in Sarasota, Florida, this upcoming weekend. Black-and-white photos will be priced at $1,000 for anyone interested in purchasing them, and coloured 9x12-inch portraits will cost $2,000.
If and when photos of the sketches are made available online, we will have them here.

Her pictures of Harry are EXACTLY how I see them! I think it does to some of us - it doesn't bother me that much, though i prefer the 'UK editions' personally, because all the covers are by a different artist, and hence 7 different images of how 7 different people picture the books.
I have to admit i like Mary GranPere's work, it's nice. i hope that she raises alot of money from these sketches.
