| | |  LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 video game to be released in 2011 holiday season
Warner Bros and TT Games have announced that the LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 video game, the sequel to the popular Years 1-4 game released last summer, will be out this holiday season. The press release, along with a teaser image of Voldemort creeping towards Hogwarts, can be found below. The game will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3, PSP, Nintendo DS, Nintendo D3S, Nintendo Wii, and Windows PC formats.  Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and the LEGO Group are pleased to announce that LEGO® Harry Potter™: Years 5-7, the follow-up to the hit game LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, will be available holiday 2011 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, the NGP system, the Wii™ system, the Nintendo DS™ and Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held systems and Windows PC.

Based on the last three Harry Potter books and final four films, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 takes players through Harry Potter’s heroic adventures in the Muggle and wizarding worlds. From Privet Drive in Little Whinging to Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and Hogwarts – plus new locations including Grimmauld Place, the Ministry of Magic, and Godric’s Hollow – players will encounter new faces, new challenges and new magic, preparing them for the ultimate face-off against Lord Voldemort™.

This is just what I was hoping was going to be announced soon. I can't wait to see how Deathly Hallows gets LEGOfied. This will likely be the best Harry Potter game and the best LEGO game ever.

for some reason, I cannot wait to see a LEGO!Umbridge  I'll probably try to get this game as soon as it comes out. I waited awhile for the Years 1-4 because I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I ended up loving it, so I know I'll love this one too.  Sooo excited now!
