Post James & Oliver Phelps starring in & filming black comedy movie "Own Worst Enemy"

James and Oliver Phelps have taken up their first official feature since the end of the Harry Potter series, a movie called Own Worst Enemy which is being shot in the twins' hometown of Birmingham, UK. In the feature, which was dubbed a 'black comedy', the twins will play a couple of local policemen, in the movie, written and directed by Philip Pugh.

Quote:
Birmingham-based producer Nigel Martin Davey said: “I met James and Oliver at a Help Harry Help Others event last October and asked them if they would fancy taking part.

Nigel said: “They were both such nice lads, really patient. When all you are working with are the lights and the camera, you can see what good actors they are, too.”

A summary of the feature, from its official site, can be read here.

Quote:
Own Worst Enemy, a pitch black comedy about an agoraphobic man struggling to stay sane within the confines of his pokey flat as his newly formed imaginary enemy taunts and ridicules him at every opportunity. Added to this, with heavy rain pouring in through his leaky roof he becomes convinced that the local weather presenter is deliberately predicting bad weather in an attempt to flood his house. With nowhere to escape to and nowhere to hide he must remedy the situation as best he can as the line between fantasy and reality blurs.
James will play Constable Berrow (pictured on the far right) while Oliver portrays Constable Stroyde (far left) alongside actors Mike Baughan, Mathew Waters, and Terri Dwyer. The movie starring the Harry Potter actors will hit theaters sometime next year.

Quote:
James said: “It was great being part of a film made and produced here in Birmingham.

“It shows we have a great film industry here.”
