| | |  J.K. Rowling items for sale on eBay (UPDATED)
The Daily Record is today reporting that items given by J.K. Rowling to friends have wound up on the internet auction site eBay. They claim that they are worth £5000 collectively. Given in the mid 1990s, they are now being sold by an Oxford bookshop, Adrian Greenwood Rare Books.
They include a signed sketch, a humorous list of potential baby names and a hand-made invitation to her daughter (Jessica's) third birthday party. Photos of some of the items have been published by The Scottish Sun. They are being advertised as “a rare insight into Rowling’s creative processes”. Quote:
“These three items all come from a family friend of Rowling.
“At least they were at the time when the items were given as gifts — but we gather Ms Rowling is not pleased that they have been resold.”

why is it being sold by a bookshop?
Maybe her friend forgot it in a book, didnt bother to look throught the book incase she had forgotten something in it... and then just sold the books and the shop found them and started the selling!
not sure how reliable the Daily Mail is *shrugs*
still, we have only heard one side of this story...
