The Daily Record is today reporting that items given by J.K. Rowling to friends have wound up on the internet auction site eBay. They claim that they are worth £5000 collectively. Given in the mid 1990s, they are now being sold by an Oxford bookshop, Adrian Greenwood Rare Books.

They include a signed sketch, a humorous list of potential baby names and a hand-made invitation to her daughter (Jessica's) third birthday party. Photos of some of the items have been published by The Scottish Sun. They are being advertised as “a rare insight into Rowling’s creative processes”.
