Earlier this week we announced that a first edition set of the seven Harry Potter books will be put on auction for charity. The auction took place today at Cameo Fine Art Auctioneers, during which the book set, which has been signed by J.K. Rowling without a dedication, sold at the "hammer price" of £17,800. | |

hmm so looks like it got sold pretty much on estimate (which was 15k-20k pounds). it would still be so cool to have those though: first ed, signed and a box set. a trifecta for me
