| | |  Half-Blood Prince starts on Monday
In a new interview with MTV Dan Radcliffe has talked about Half-Blood Prince starting on Monday with rehearsals. He also talks about Rupert Grint's kissing scenes & reflects on how certain things may be done in Deathly Hallows. Quote:
"It's pretty whirlwind," he said. "I stop press on the 14th (for December Boys) and start on the 17th. There's just one week of rehearsal. That's manic. But when you know the character as well as I do, it's easy to get back into the role. So the amount of prep you do, it's possible to do a lot of what you need on the day of. It comes very naturally now."
As far as kissing scenes go, in both Half-Blood Prince & Deathly Hallows, he has this to say; Quote:
"I'm going to be on set pointing at him (Rupert) every time. It's going to be funny," Radcliffe grinned mischievously. "And I'm looking forward to [the seventh movie] when he has to kiss Emma [Watson]!"
Of course, he may want to take it easy on them, since Radcliffe will have to kiss her too. "Presumably," he said. "I should get my evil twin for that scene!"
In terms of condensing the last Potter novel for screen, he had this to say; Quote:
"It's going to be a hell of a challenge for the writer," he said. "There's other bits [in other books] you can cut, but I don't see anything in 'Deathly Hallows' you can cut. [Author] Jo [Rowling] always talks about the chapter she had written in her head before anything, when Harry's going to face Voldemort, and I'm really looking forward to doing that. It should be powerful — if I don't screw it up. Of course, I'm saying all this hoping it won't be cut. I don't think it can be, it's so vital."

Ooh, the locket scene! I completley forgot about that! Should be veerrrryyyy interesting. Personally, I think we've all seen the Ron/Hermione thing coming, so it shouldn't be a completely astonishing scene, but still rather good xD

I kinda think Emma & Rupert AND Emma and Dan will probably be embarrased out of their socks having to kiss each other. It was probably different for Dan & Katie because they hadn't worked together for THAT long, and the same goes for Rupert and whoever will be Lavender, but the Trio have worked with each other since they were 10-11 years old, they have literally grown up together. I'm sure by now Emma thinks of them as two older brothers. Not to mention the fact that Rupert has gone on record stating he didn't want Ron & Hermione to end up together. (Sorry Rupes! ) Come to think of it, I wonder if Dan or Bonnie will feel akward having to kiss as well.....
