The theatre that I just went to tonight (in Ontario, Toronto-ish area =P ) won't be showing HP in IMAX until...I think a month after. It's because Transformers 2 has bought the IMAX slot for at least another month. I'm not sure if it applies to everywhere though, but do check back with your local theatre!

have just come back from seeing in the IMAX in sydney and i have to say although the 3D was cool the director differed from the book way too much or didnt focus enough on the story when he did stick to it, no prime minister, no dursleys, tonks doesnt find harry on the train, theres some strange scene at the burrow that didnt really link in with the story, no gaunt house or anything connecting the story to them, no crabb or goyle looking like girls, the cave scene was disappointing and what happened to dumbledore and harry going to the castle on brooms, the big fight of the students and teachers with the help of felix and of course the big dissapointment no funeral. i mean come on these are some of the key parts to the story and they were just cut out. i seriously hope they do not ruin what i believe will be the best book to be turned into a flim when the do the last movie like they have ruined this one which before seeing i was expecting to be amazing given how good the book was but i was so mistaken. stop ruining harry potter and stick to the films the way that the books were written.

Talk about a spoiler. To be perfectly honest, I think you had no right to go saying all of this, many people haven't seen it yet becaause of work/school etc... We know some things weren't happening, like The Funeral, that was in a news thread about 3 months ago. Also, they bnought the film rights to be able to do these things way back with the first movie, because they knew it would be impossible to fit everything in. If theres something you don't liike about the film, you should keep it to your self or put your opinions into a spoiler text cut:

Yea, my local theater is waiting 2 weeks because of T2. -eyeroll- (Sorry to say...but T2 was not a good movie. And having a hot girl as a lead doesn't take the "suck" out of a movie)
Seen the actual HBP movie last night at 12am which lasted 2 hrs and 40 mins. I have several mixed emotions. I'll need to watch it a few more times...to pass proper judgment. -smirks- Tom was one of the best preformances of the entire film...and Helena, as well!
