Half-Blood Prince casting rumours denied
 

Representatives for Naomi Watts, Joseph Fiennes, and Stuart Townsend have all denied claims that their talent are to appear in Half-Blood Prince.

Aw :( I thought they'd do a good job. especially Naomi as Narcissa.. :yes:

True, but she was raised in Australia. I don't think she has the same style as an actress who grew up in Britain - I love her as an actress but, personally, I believe they can do better for Narcissa.

Can't wait to find out the official casting news once filming comes closer. I'm excited, and I know they'll pick the right people for the roles! They have so far. :D

Well, some rumors can be cruel to the victims. There's no choice, is there?

I'm kind of happy that Naomi isn't playing the role, because i still say that Emily Procter from CSI Miami (Calleigh Duquesne) would be better suited. I dunno lol she just fit how i pictures Narcissa Malfoy. lol but Emily isn't british...so i guess she wouldn't be gettign the role either :(

Pity. I thought it would be cool to have both Ralph and Joseph Fiennes in the same film either playing the same character (Voldemort at different ages) or the related characters (Tom Riddle Sr. and Tom Riddle Jr.)

Actually,I was REALLY hoping they would cast an unknown for Narcissa Malfoy.I mean,Naomi Watts could play the part,but she's an American and the accent might be kind of iffy.I prefer regular people in the films instead of famous actors and actresses playing the roles.

I actually don't think that I would like Naomi as Narcissa, the actress I think would be really good is Kate Beckinsale, with blonde hair of course! I think she would be perfect..
But I'm upset about Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend, they would have been good!
