| | |  Half-Blood Prince Australian release date petition
Some dedicated Potter fans in Australia have put together an online petition to get the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince moved up in the land Down Under. It was previously announced that the Australian release date for the film will be December 11, nearly three weeks after the U.K. and U.S. release date of Nov. 21.
In 2006, a similar petition containing more than 2,200 signatures was presented to Warner Bros. regarding the fifth film, and the release date for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was subsequently moved up from September 6 to July 12, in line with the U.K. release date.

Actually, the donation is not required - all you have to do is close out of the window when you've reached the donation stage. It still adds your name to the petition!
Everyone, help out! It's not fair to them to have to wait so long.
