Emma Watson attends National Movie awards (UPDATE #2)
Emma Watson attended this evening's National Movie awards (where she will be presenting an award), at the South Bank Centre in London, England. High resolution photos of Emma in an elegant white dress can be seen in our galleries:
We will update with videos of Emma from the ceremony when they are made available. The event took place this evening, but will be televised on ITV1 tomorrow night.
UPDATE: According to The Daily Mail, during the ceremony Emma suffered a wardrobe malfunction, leading to her missing the afterparty.
Quote:
Later that evening at the afterparty at Claridges hotel James Nesbitt commented: 'Yes she had a bit of a problem with her dress but she was very professional about it, you could hardly tell. I tried to help her do it back up but I wasn't much help - it's been a long time since I did anything like that.'
UPDATE #2: The Associated Press has a brief interview with Emma on the red carpet where she talks about the delayed release of Half-Blood Prince.
She looks really beautiful!
I hope she had a good time.

A lot of the time designers will give or even pay stars to wear dresses for them, knowing how highly photographed they will be at events, like when last year Chanel gave her outfits to wear for the Order of the Phoenix promotion. I doubt she has every single outfit hanging up in her wardrobe.
She is lovely in that dress....on the note of designers giving prominent actresses to wear...many times they get to just keep the dress as payment for the free advertising. Designers usually clambor for the actress they feel personifies their clothing.
