| | |  Deathly Hallows I, Harry Potter & the Forbidden Journey nominated for 2011 VES Awards
Nominations for the 9th annual Visual Effects Society (VES) Awards were announced today, where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Fl, were recognised. Deathly Hallows: Part I received three nominations, in the Outstanding Visual Effects in a Visual-Effects Driven Feature Motion Picture, and two separate nods in the Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Feature Motion Picture. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey gained recognition in the Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project.
