David Yates confirms 'Fantastic Beasts' sequel Paris set production starting February
David Yates gave a bit of information about the production of the second Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film, while promoting the relasee of the first installment this week.
The director of the first two Fantastic Beasts installments confirmed that set production will begin this coming February at Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK, to bring Paris, France in the early 20th century to life. Yates also stated that the original cast will return, which includes Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander), Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone), and Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald), so far.

David Yates: I am, yeah. I’m building Paris in Watford. Or Stuart Craig, my production designer, is building Paris in Watford starting in February.
Is it some of the same cast?
David Yates: Yep, we continue with the same cast and some brilliant new characters.
Much more will be revealed in the coming weeks and months regarding the Fantastic Beasts sequel, so do watch this space. No word yet on when filming begins, though strong rumors are leaning toward summer 2017.
