According to ITV1 Telextext Dan Radcliffe got into a bit of bike bother on the set of his new drama My Boy Jack. A scene required him to ride a 90-year-old motorbike - problem being he doesn't have a licence! Quote:
A spy says: "There's a scene where he had to ride a 90-year-old motorbike.
"Then he tells us he hadn't a driving licence and can't ride a motorbike! We had to insist on a stuntman double. But Dan did sit on it while the engine was off."
The piece also states that the programme will air on November 11th - this is most fitting as it is Remembrance Day when veterans and civilians in World War I, World War II, and other wars are remembered on the anniversary of the end of World War I at the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour.

That's too funny!! I'm sure they'll make it look just like he was driving it all along, but that's hilarious to hear the backstory and to know, when we see the film, that it isn't him because he wasn't legally allowed, lol.

Totally - you have to take a separate test. David Tennant did a course for one of the episodes of Doctor Who in the second season, but didn't have time to pass the test, so he & Billie Piper had stunt doubles. It's quite common.
