| | |  Dan Radcliffe currently preparing for 'How to Succeed...' musical in London
Daniel Radcliffe's director and costar for his upcoming musical, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, recently discussed with the Daily Mail how much preparation the Harry Potter star is putting into the show, which will go live on Broadway next spring.
The director of the production, Rob Ashford, who is currently helming the Broadway production of Promises, Promises, said Dan was already preparing his singing voice and dance moves in his hometown of London, where he is currently finishing work on both parts of Deathly Hallows. Quote:
'He's singing every day with a vocal coach in London and I've got my assistant putting him through his dance paces every other day. I'm covering all bases with Daniel - and he's delivering.'
Rose Hemingway, who will play Dan's on-stage love interest next year, took part in last December's cast reading, and spoke about his work regime. Quote:
'He's been doing a lot of work and he's going to surprise people. He's not afraid to learn how to do things.'
Rehearsals for the musical will begin in February 2011 in New York City.
There are currently no confirmed plans on what project Dan will participate in between the end of Deathly Hallows and the start of rehearsals. If and when a new project is announced for Dan, it will be reported on here.  | |

Hmmm... I really can't see Dan dancing and singing, I have to admit. Just the thought is really... awkward. But we'll all have to accept him in other roles and try to learn to see him as the character he's playing instead of Harry Potter. That will be my challange. I'm glad he's not shying away from this, though, and that he's trying new things.
