Ooooo ominous I know. But we all know there's a few characters in this RPG who'd like to wring each others necks. OK, perhaps that's an understatement; practically every character wants to kill, or at least hurt, someone, for something they've done to them or others.

Confused? You should be!

Here's a brief explanation of the main events (note I said BRIEF):

Marcella, the daughter of the infamous Voldemort, God-daughter to Albus Dumbledore was constantly shifted around. Her life was lived mainly in hiding from her father. She struck up an unlikely relationship with the formidable Professor Snape who was her guardian.

He had a daughter called Kristi, by a woman called Faith Potter. For plainly obvious reasons, Voldemort wanted her dead. Duty bound by her mothers death, Snape looked after her unwilling but debatably in the end, her learnt to love her. Voldemort made him kill his own daughter with his bare hands. Thereby, ridding himself of one of the Potters.

Kristi, who resented Marcella's relationship with her father, struck up an unlikely relationship with Nick Lestrange - the resident womaniser at Hogwarts - the lovechild of Bellatrix and Voldemort (yes I'm well aware of the irony.) He too died by the hands of Snape who never approved with their relationship. Nick was a shady character who gave Kristi to Voldemort but did attempt to save her, though it was a hopeless effort.

Snape was jailed twice for a murder he did not commit. (Irony, eh? Caught for murders he didn't do, unpunished by the law for murders he did commit). He appealed the first time and was released but went back in to Azkaban for the murder of Darrin. During the course of his imprisonment, Marcella discovered she was pregnant.

While he was away she, with Nick and Kristi, who were under the protection of the Order; Tonks, Sunny, Remus and Sirius. First at the house in Norway (which belonged to Snape) and then at Hogwarts.

Sunny turned out to be a DE and betrayed Marcella, leading her to her father. Tonks, who had become his lover, was torn when Sirius started firing accusations. Eventually Sunny was redeemed when he grudgingly returned to the Riddle House to rescue the captives of Voldemort. While there, Voldemort killed the baby, Maurice (an order member), Kristi and Nick.

Sirius also had an attachment to Faith Potter (although he seemed to become attracted to other people as well - well JK did say he was a ladies man!) and was thus distraught at Kristi's death and blames Snape. Marcella blames Snape for the death of the baby and hates the fact that he admitted that he never really wanted the child. Snape is bitter and twisted (what's new?) about the whole train of events.

The main theme of this RPG? The wounded lick their scars and become broody, bitter, melancholy and vengeful.

Will Snape become so embittered that he returns to the dark side, the light having given him no hope?

Will Marcella become so embittered that she crawls back to her father?

Will Sirius kill Snape with his bare paws?

Will Sunny and Tonks ever manage to be in a room alone and stayed clothed?

All will be answered, I suppose.

As Voldemort is still on the prowl, I feel he'd want Harry where he can keep an eye on him. The main characters have been out of school for a year and are now 20ish. (In their first year out of school they will have been 19). Ron is playing Quidditch for the Chudley Cannons. And Hermione's working in the Department for the Health & Welfare of House-Elves (a department in the ministry which she invented and runs with the help of, yeah you guessed it, house-elves). So, we need:

If anyone has any suggestions please put them forward. Please let me know which subject your character wants, or whether you want one at all. The RPG will be centered at Hogwarts.

In case you're wondering, McGonagall's retired and Hagrid's on a honeymoon with Madame Maxime.

"I haven't class till second period so it'd suit me fine. Although maybe we should go see Albus first..." she hesistated. The look on both their faces was so sullen and so couldn't help but echo that. She had just wasted what felt like ages on a man who was never going to come round. "Is there room for one more?" she asked sneaking next to Sirius who had his other arm around Kristi.

Sirius is relieved when Marcella comes over. "Of coure there is always room for you." He puts his other arm around Marcella. "Marcella is right. You should let Dumbledore know your alive. Then I want to hear the whole story of how you pulled this miracle off."

"It's okay, Marcella," she said, stepping away from Black after he released her. "Classes are going to start and he wouldn't have time, anyway. I think maybe I'll... go back to Hogsmeade. I shouldn't be up here anyway, I just wanted to see if Dumbledore had any news."

The sadness seemed to be drowned out by the happiness of having life in the place of death. She couldn't help but smile and held onto Sirius' waist tightly. Then she frowned once more, at Kristi. "News? Look you can't go back there, not without telling him first. It'll only take a few minutes and then you can do what you wish."

"Telling him what? I'm sure Dumbledore already knows and I think I'd rather not see Snape right now. Like you said, he'll need time to get used to the idea again," Kristi replied and then, looked over at Potter, in an effort to prevent any further arguments. "I'm sorry about all the excitement, we should have taken our personal business outside."

What she said was true; Dumbledore had a knack for knowing things before everyone else did and then acting totally unsurprised when you told him. She was beginning to appreciate how much of a Snape Kristi was. Like father, like daughter, she mused. "You're both as stubborn as each other," she sighed. "But I learnt the hard way back there that you can't get a Snape to do something they don't want to do so I won't press the matter. If you're sure then by all means go but you must come back. Tonight, perhaps?"

"I suppose," she shrugged. "But, why do I need to come back? I thought I might try and find some way to make a living. Not sure what I'll do since the Ministry so kindly turned me down without even glancing at my qualifications but... I guess we'll see."

She thought it was sort of obvious why she wanted her to come back but refrained from saying so. "Just don't go being a barmaid at the Hog's Head. Aberforth might be a nice man but the punters they get there aren't the type of people you want to be making friends with." With a last smile and a brief hug, she took Sirius' hand and walked toward the Great Hall.

"He knows." she whispered under her breath as they walked. "He had someone, a house elf most likely, spy on us last night."

Sirius squeezes Marcella's hand tight. "Well, that's just typical of Snivellus to have house elves spying on you. I'm sure he was concerned about your safety too. Not to worry, we didn't do anything wrong or immoral. Dumbledore's is the only opinion that matter to me. Let Snape think what he wants to." Sirius and Marcella continue to walk to the Great Hall. "A house elf you think? I wonder what happened to old Kreacher when I fell through the arch. My will left everything to Harry, but I don't know if that included that old pest. Kreacher may even be dead by now. He was ancient when I inherited him from my mother. I'll have to ask Harry about him. We might be able to use him to feed false information to Snape's little spies."

"Oh yes, I'm sure the spying was motivated by concern," she scoffed as they sat at the Staff Table. "I pointed that out to him though. He suggested that Kristi's being alive was a story concocted by the pair of us last night. Then I pointed it out to him that if that was the case he would know about it for sure, seeing as he was spying. At the same time, he also knows nothing went on, but I don't care. To be honest," she grinned, "I think it'd serve him right to find out we'd been up to something fun." She winked at Sirius and patted him on the knee. "That's a good idea. Maybe you and Harry should go down to the Kitchens later tonight. It'll give you two something to do and time to talk things through."

"So that's what we were doing last night, I'm glad Snape pointed that out to you. At least we didn't waste the night doing nothing." Sirius gets some pancakes and sausage and puts them on his plate. "I'm not to sure Harrry will want to join me right now. He's mad at me for not being able to spend more time with him. Add to that Dumbledore has him sequestered with little or no explanation, and you have one angry young man. I've got a pretty big fence to mend with him. I do like the idea of using the house elves to keep an eye on Snape keeping an eye on us. Dobbie and Kreacher would be ideal to feed him false imformation. And by the way anytime you want to plot some more with me, you just let me know." Sirius gives Marcella a kiss on the cheek. "I had the best night sleep last I've had in ages."

"Well, if he's mad at you for not spending time with him, then I don't see how he can get mad at you when you want to spend time with him. The fact that Dumbledore's told him nothing is all the better; gives you a chance to have your say without anything contradicting you." She flushed, then added, "And who says we have to stop at plotting?" She was glad Sirius had got some well deserved rest but she couldn't help but look away distractedly. She wished she could say the same.

She grabbed an apple and stuffed it in her pocket, hurriedly rising. "Sorry Sirius. Second period's about to start and I'm nowhere near my classroom. I'll see you later." she whispered, kissing him on the head. "Oh and good luck with Harry!" With that she vanished out of the doors and out of sight.

When she arrived at her classroom she glad to see only a few students had arrived and were seated. Classes, for the most part, were enjoyable and she ended up giving more points than she deducted. Happy that things had gone smoothly with very few interuptions, she emerged several hours later, intent on heading to the Owlery.

ooc- Kris and I were murmering over this yesterday. I'm getting the strong feeling Marcella's turning into a mother-hen. She's going all maternal on me! First she's telling Snape what to do, giving him advice. Then the same for Kristi. And then finally the same for Sirius. I think she wants everyone to be happy.

Watch out Hary, Sunny, Tonks, it could be you guys next LOL.

She left the Hospital Wing after Marcella and Sirius, forgetting all about Potter. Luckily, she managed to escape from the school without bumping into Dumbledore and made her way back to her room at the Hog's Head. She needed some time to herself to think about what she was going to do next. Whatever it was, she wasn't going to stay here long enough for Marcella to start mothering her again.

As she entered the Owlery, she made sure to lock the door behind her. She sat at one of the makeshift desks and scrawled a note in scarlet red ink.

Meet me at the Hog's Head at 8pm if you ever want to see your daughter again.

Alright, so it was low, very low. But she needed to get them to talk to each other somehow and after mulling all day over it this was the only way she could figure out how. Casting a charm over the parchment so that it would conceal the author, she reached out and tied the note to a student's owls leg; using a school one would be just plain stupid; the last thing she wanted him thinking was that it was just a juvenile prank. It did cross her mind that he might see through it but the threat of his daughter being in trouble, now that he knew she was alive, should be enough to get him to shift his rear. Hoping her plan would work, she watched the bird fly off and down toward the dungeons. She quickly made her exit after unlocking the door and headed to her quarters to get ready, bypassing the hall, deciding to skip Supper.

Snape was sitting in his office when he received the owl. Checking the clock, he got up and quickly left, heading for Hogsmeade. He walked swiftly and arrived at the Hog's Head half an hour early.

After getting back to her room, Kristi decided that she wanted to apply to the Ministry in person. After all, her father must have been cleared if he was at the school again. She apparated to the Ministry and spent the better part of the day trying to find someone who agreed to at least review her application.

Changed into fresh green robes, her hair up with a few strands hanging down, she pulled the hood back up over her head and left the castle. She pretty much knew how he would react and was greatful of the public status of their meeting; it meant he couldn't bolt out the door without making a scene. Still, she was anxious of the outcome. Nerves writhing under her skin like snakes, she pushed open the door to the Hog's Head and spotted him instantly, sat at the bar. This was it, she moved forward and tapped him on the shoulder, her hood still raised.

Snape turned at the tap on his shoulder. In truth, he was relieved to see that it was only Marcella, as he expected but, he wasn't about to let her know that. "I thought you might be here," he sneered. "What is this about?"

She rolled her eyes and hopped onto a stool next to him. She could see he wasn't in the mood to buy her a drink and so she ordered a red wine, not willing to push his wrong buttons over something so fickle. "You know what it's about." she said pointedly, sipping from her glass and handing over a few sickles. "You probably also knew that I sent the note, or at least that I was behind it. So why did you come?"

"On the slightest chance that you did not," he stated simply. Just then, the door tot he pub opened again and in she walked, like some sort of specter to torment him.

Kristi walked back to the Hog's Head not feeling very optimistic, her bag slung over her shoulder. She opened the door and almost passed right by the bar on her way up to her room but, stopped just short of a witch and wizard. "Marcella," she said in a rather threatening tone.

"Remember where you are Kristi, don't do anything hasty. This is for your own good. For both of you." she stated carefully, her voice a little shaky; they both seemed to be looking daggers at her. "Although, I must say, I don't understand why you're acting like this. You're family; you love each other, don't you?"

"I think love is a bit strong, don't you think?" she asked, looking over at her father. "Tolerate each other might be a better way of putting it. I think I've wasted enough of his precious time. It's time I moved on. I don't want protection anymore and even if I did, I'm a big girl now and can find my own. I don't need a father anymore."

Snape remained silent, unsurprised at his daughter's words. He could tell Marcella "I told you so" after Kristi walked out, as she was sure to do. He only hoped Marcella wouldn't make this any harder on either of them than it already was.

"Stop being so ungrateful!" she spat at Kristi. "I'd give anything to have a father who cares about me, even one like yours. Anyone would think you'd be glad to find out he was alive but instead you're acting as if you'd prefer it if he were dead. If you don't need him anymore, then why are you living so close to Hogwarts? Coincidence, I don't think." she smirked, arms folded.

"I'm certain you would just go running over to give your murderer a big hug. Yeah, I know," she said, holding up a hand to prevent any arguments. "He was under the Imperius Curse. But, the fact of the matter is, I was a burden. And it's high time I took my burdensome butt somewhere else. It's too bad Black went to prison or he could have taken responsibility for me."

There wasn't really much for her to say to that. She wasn't exactly the right person to say, "No, you're not a burden." Turning away from the conversation slightly, she pursed her lips and kicked Snape discreetly in the shins. There was only so much bridge-building she could do alone.

Snape took his eyes off of his daughter and glared at Marcella for kicking him. "You aren't a burden," he said, though it was unlikely she would believe him. At least by making the attempt, he might be able to walk out of her on his own. "Why don't you join us for dinner?"

She looked between one and the other of them and then, sighed. "Fine," she said and slumped into a chair next to Marcella, away from her father, and slung her bag from her shoulder, allowing it to fall to the floor.
