Gently guiding Cass along, by way of his arm around her, to the darts booth, Owen stopped momentarily at the little commotion that welcomed them. A girl, which was roughly the same age as his sister, was crying and the next second the boy he was with had cast a silencing charm over her. Owen blinked at them. What the hell? Glancing to the side, he also caught sight of a mime who was miming to a couple? Owen honestly didn't know, nor didn't want to know. What he did, though, was move Cassie away from all that. Got to protect the lady from all the crazy, you know. Letting her go, he picked up a dart from the ledge. The goal was, apparently, to hit a balloon three times in a row to win one of the larger stuffed things? Okay, here was the first try. Owen raised the dart and let it flyyy towards a green balloon, only to have it bounce against the board and fall to the ground with a clatter. "Uhhh..." |

Though no official proclamations nor status had been given to them, though part of him was assuming certain...things. At least he himself did not posses eyes that were looking elsewhere. If Vivian was, well, she was entitled to do so given there had been nothing agreed upon between the two of them. "I am sure they have a variety of creatures to select from," he assured her as they reached the front of the line and he offered his money to the person manning the stand. "Blow on the darts," he instructed her, waving them in front of her pink lips. "For good luck." |

She couldn't resist the laugh that came along after Andrei's response. Prove his worth? "Is that necessary?" Vivian said, moving closer to him to give him a squishy hug. "A thunderbird sounds nice. I don't think Prancer would be too happy if I brought home another dog, stuffed or not." Cruppies were nice but the family golden retriever was something else, for sure. And even more laughing when he asked her to blow the darts. "Another one of your superstitions, Romanos? You know that's not the only way to ensure good luck." With that said, the blond gently blew against the darts held out in front of her before standing on her tip-toes to give him a nice kiss on the cheek. "Now go win those stuff animals for me. Or us. I don't mind sharing." Go on, go on. |
Stella! "Going to the ocean sounds like the best way to end a great summer!" What made the idea even better was that he would be getting to go with one of his most bestest friends, the others being Octavia and of course Vio his brother. After what had happened at the pool party when he pulled her under the water playfully he had learned to be more careful. He hadn't known what happened to her when she was really young but he knew now and he wouldn't scare his friend like that again. Oceanus laughed shaking his head at her. "Of course you are. I wouldn't expect anything different from you." If she was going to worry about him all the time he might just have to start being more careful... maybe. It was tough being super careful when you were having fun, plus accidents happen. Oceanus grinned at Stella as she picked up another dart and popped another balloon. "There you go! Told you this game was easy!" If she kept popping balloons like this she was sure to win a really good prize! |
Oceanus! She nodded in agreement. "It sure does, I mean what better way to end the summer then going to the ocean?!: she asked him happily. She was going with her best friend, she couldn't be anymore happier about it, she was really excited about it. She felt like a little kid in the candy store for the first time. She knew that things happen at times, no matter how careful you were. Although she couldn't help but not to worry about her friends and loved ones, it was a habit she didn't think she'll ever break. She laughed and smiled. "I know things happen, and sometimes we can't avoid them but I still worry it's a habit. " He was her best friend she didn't want anything bad happening to him, even if he fallen out of a tree she'll still worry. It was just how she was, and anyone that knew her knew that. Stella grinned back at him. "I had a pretty good teacher that taught me." Picking up another dart she looked at him. "You want to try? we we're going to try to win something together right?" she asked him. She wanted that wolf, if it was going to take her awhile so be it. |

But not a hit. “Ooooo…close,” she remarked. It was all in good fun right? She certainly wasn't keeping score. But that was one dart...and two more to go. So maybe she was, albeit absently. |
