Daring (Chosen by my personal plot bunny, Peony.) A million words would describe Luna perfectly. For example, eccentric, insane, out of this world, dotty, moonstruck or disordered. The very first time Draco had seen her was during her Sorting. She had been dressed in the standard black robes which had been “altered” with multi-coloured floating ribbons and a hat with a spinning feather. She had stepped in front of the hat and said to it in an airy voice, “I’m not a Hufflepuff…whatever you may think of me.” He choked on his juice as he tried to stop laughing. He could describe her in one word : Daring. |
2. Dragonhide gloves (For Peony.) Draco almost gasped as a blur of blonde ran at him and past--- but he caught Luna’s wrist and brought her to a standstill. Luna looked at him with surprise, unalarmed. "Hullo," she said politely. "D'you mind letting me go? I'm late for Herbology and I’ve left my gloves in my room." Draco stared into the round face, sneering. Her large, curious eyes watched his face and then she smiled. Draco blinked. Minutes later, Luna was slid into her seat, serenely. She wore an expensive pair of dragonhide gloves. "Oh," she said to Ginny, "Someone kind borrowed them to me." |
3. Portkey (Challenged by The Doctor) Luna woke up on Christmas morning to find the foot of her bed covered in brightly coloured parcels. The presents contained various earrings, books, socks and a special Christmas edition of the Quibbler (there was an article about the pixie that lived on the Christmas star). There was an unmarked parcel, and inside she found a bracelet with one single charm. A crumple-horned Snorkack. She picked it up and instantly felt a tugging sensation on her navel. A whirlwind ride later, Luna found herself in an orchard, facing a beautifully set table for two. “Happy Christmas, Luna.” “Oh, hello, Draco.” |
4. Boggart (Challenged by Rhea) Draco reared back in shock when he pulled the closet open to find Luna lying pale as a sheet on the floor. “Merlin! Luna!” He shouted, bending down to pick up her limp body. A cold sweat broke out on his forehead and his normally aloof façade had dropped completely. “Luna…Please say something…” He pleaded desperately. “Something.” An airy voice said from behind him. Draco whirled around and stared at the person. “What have you got there?” She asked, leaning over his shoulder. His eyes never left hers and saw the fear that filled them. Her wand whipped out, “Riddikulus.” |
5. Yodel Draco was trying to sneak back to the castle after curfew by blending into the trees by the lake. But he had barely moved ten feet away from the broom-sheds when his caught a flash of white. He turned and crouched instinctively behind a tree, sighing in relief when he saw that it was just Luna Lovegood. The moment he clapped eyes on her, he was transfixed. The moonlight was playing in her hair and she looked absolutely enchanting. His breath caught when she opened her mouth, but it all came out in a whoosh as she proceeded to yodel! |
