Meet momentai Hey! I am Tailzerr, aka Tailz and I am going to be one of the Mods of the Month for September! My real name is Taylor and I've been with the site for the past four years. On SS, I am the School RPGs Groundskeeper, current Head of Hufflepuff house, and one of the two editors of The Quill. I also mod Hogwarts Haven, the School RPGs very own fan club. Outside SS, I am a second year university student, studying GIS (geography stuff) in the core of downtown Toronto. I enjoy fiddling with Photoshop and photography in my off time, as well as playing with soccer and helping my high school create a new yearbook. I'm going to stop talking now. Sooo... - When you first joined SS, which house were you hoping to get sorted into and why? - If you ever play a student again, do you think you'll be in Ravvie? - - If you could somehow take a few SS RPG charries and magically put them into the canon Harry Potter series, which characters would that be and why? - How do you think you would have fit into the canon HP storyline if you (OOC you) were a character in the book? ^_^ *leaves candy* |

Well, I did play soccer competitively during my four years of high school. I was a goalkeeper & defender. Now, I just play it recreationally with the boys in my program at university. Who knew geography could attract so many soccer lovers? :lol: &, it's an undergraduate course. Mmmm...well, my favourite HP book would have to be...Prisoner of Azkaban. I don't know why, exactly. I think it might have something to do with the fact that it was the first one that I paid for myself. The rest had been given to be as gifts. &&, my favourite movie would have to be Half-Blood Prince. It had the right mix of humour & drama. I actually don't deal with geology. Unfortunately, the program that contained that required Calculus and that just didn't sit well with me. GIS is a database containing millions of data collected for Censuses or from observations made by organizations/the government that can be used to help plan out location of new stores/facilities or figure out where the population of a certain animal maybe. There's so much more it can be used for, as well. It's really interesting. GIS/geography was definitely something I wanted to do since elementary school. I always loved the course and enjoyed learning about the earth. Also, if this doesn't end up working out, then I'mma go to college for graphic design for print and web. heh. Thanks for asking! Quote:

Hey there Tailz... nice to "meet" you! :) Sounds to me like you're a pretty busy person, between college classes, studying and your many responsibilities here. How do find time for everything? I'm not much of a photographer, myself (they still haven't made a camera that's "idiot-proof" enough for me. LOL), but I do love to experiment and play around with Photoshop and other photo editing programs. How's the weather in Toronto this time of year? :) |
