Meet Liisa Hai y'all! :hello: My name is Lisa and I am one of your Mods of the Month for October. I've been a proud member of SS since 2008 and a staff member for the last 9 terms. Currently, I hold the position of Hogwarts Librarian in the School RPG. ^_^ At home, I'm a wife and mother with two beautiful daughters and WAY too many pets. I work full-time as an Executive Assistant but LOVE to fill my free time (however much I can scrounge up) here on SS. If you'd like to know more about me... Ask away. Thanks for stopping by. I'm looking forward to meeting you all! Quote:

Hi! :hello: Nice to meet you. ^_^ I have a question! How did you get to Harry Potter fandom? Is it through your daughters? Or are they too young to read it and you just love reading and came across it accidentally like the rest of us? :D |
Howw many pets doo you havveeeeee?? :D andd....which ones your favorite? :P |
Quote:
Nice to meet you, too! Quote:
NINE!! O_O Let's see, three cats, three dogs, two bunnies and then Steve the turtle. :3 And yes, Rach, Kevin is my favorite. Though sometimes I want to strangle him when I'm on the phone and he WON'T STOP BARKING!! >_< |
Quote:
Rach: ZOMG LISA HAS A TURTLE Chloe: *stare* hehe. Oh yes. I know thaat :P *needs another question* Come to England? :) |
:hello: It's nice to meet you ^_^ First off: I am really jealous that you own a turtle. In the state I live in it is illegal to own turtles *sigh* As for my question: Who is your favorite character to hate in the Harry Potter series? |
Lisa. Lisa. Lisa. Lisa. Lisa. Lisa. Lisa. Hi! Heh. Which is > ? Me or Stewie Griffin? Now on to a REAL question. Would you rather live in Hawaii or Kennesaw? Remember.. one has a ME nearby while the other does NOT. Choose wisely. |
Do you talk about the fictional people on SS with your girls? |
reLiiiiisakraken! sorry, i loved that themed nick on you  and a pet lover! :glomp: i once had 6 dogs. of the german shepard/ retriever crossbreed  to say that they are a handful is an understatement. oh yes ze question.... Sal: Why is Kimber so hot? ok, real question: of all the charries you've played here on SS, which was the most fun to play and/or your favorite? |
Do you have any favourite authors? |
Hi Lisa, nice to meet you. my question, who is your favourite character and why? |
Quote:
He looks like this. When I can, dear! Though I have two more stops that have to come first. Also, getting a passport might help. ;) Quote:
Hmm... that's a good question. I really never hated any of them. (I'm weird like that, I know) But I have to pick one... I guess I disliked Dudley Dursley. I always felt the need to slap him. Quote:
CLEARLY it's you. No question. Actually... for the longest time my answer would have been Hawaii. I miss it so much. It's gorgeous, of course, and none of the typical family drama ever seemed to reach us out there. But it's SOOOOOOOOO far away. And I had terrible island fever by the time we left. Also, now that I've been in Georgia for so long - what's it been? 10 years, I think - this is my home. And we're happy here so I'd have to choose here. Besides, you're here so all the better, right?! :loved: Quote:
Quote:
Kimber: Ahem... *glares* Honestly, I'm sort of a combination of all of my charries (and yes, that even includes Victor) so it's hard for me to choose. Usually, my favorite to play is that one that most captures my mood for the day. Though I do miss Astrid Deschain the most. She was the most fun to play. Quote:
Quote:
Sirius Black, hands down. I loved the pride he had for being the only Black sorted into Gryffindor and his relationship with Harry. I cried very hard when we lost him. :( |
Quote:
YOU LOVE ME. YOU REALLY LOVE ME! *eyes the talk about Kevin* ... I despise that animal. It's difficult to sleep with Kevin constantly BARKING. -__- Anywho onto another question: Do you want Ali/Tori to be a part of the SS community? I mean do you feel like this is a place you would love to have your kids around so you could play... or do they just not care anything about it? |
Quote:
SO CUTTEEEEEEEEEEE :) *eyes you and your stops* Yeah...you might need a passport :P What was your favorite subject at schoool? :) |
:hello: Georgia?! I live in Atlanta! *snuggles GA* Yay for Georgia peaches! *cough* I do have a question, I promise... So, I seen that you put Stephen King as your favorite author. Which would you say is your favorite book by him? And futhermore, what is your take on Anne Rice? *LOVES her* |
how do u manage time for everything what with two daughters at home and pets to look after!! |
hi lisa! i am a huge fan of lisa simpson do you play the saxamaphone? |
Hey liisa, glad you are M.O.M!! Sounds like you lead a full and wonderful life! Do you have any dogs? |
Hello, Entropist here, madman from France. Nice to see we share some common taste in litterature. Quote:
And also... do you prefer novels he wrote as Richard Bachman or Stephen King? My answer to that would be King's novels ("It" is my all time favourite) |
Quote:
*eyes you* Leave my baby alone. He just wants you to wake up with the rest of us. :glomp: Of course I'd want them here. Actually, Ali HAS joined. She's a puff. She hasn't RPed in well over a year because, as you well know, she's far too busy to hang out with us. *scoffs* But when she did, it was great. She even attended my lessons. :P Quote:
My favorite subject(s) - can't just choose one - were Math, History and Science. All the fun ones. ;) Quote:
My all time favorite Stephen King story is not a book but a series called The Dark Tower. It is simply amazing. Took him nearly 30 years to write all 7 books but it was well worth the wait and you can actually see how his literally style matured as he did. Anne Rice... Well, I love what I've read but I must admit, I've only read one of her books. Maybe I should check her out again. Quote:
But my girls are older and my job is fun so when I get home, I'm not desperately tired. And since I'm not willing to give up my beloved SS, I guess we just make it work. Quote:

Haha, no. Pennywise never frightened me. It takes A LOT to do that. I was a bit disappointed when I saw "IT" finally because I had already read the book and so much was left out. (And yeah, that sounds like me after I watch any HP movie, so just forget I said anything) ;) Hmm... *thinks* I love them both but I guess since Bachman books take me somewhere darker it really depends on my mood. For example, The Long Walk STILL gives me chills no matter how many times I read it. But then again, I'm weird. LOL I think of Firestarter every time I turn on my garbage disposal. *shudders* And while I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, I read The Shining and had nightmares every night about roque mallets. It was unpleasant. :lmao: Let's see... My favorites so far have to be The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass and The Talisman. Wow... I talk a lot. *shuts up* |
Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa . :glomp: What is your faaaaavorite movie? |
Quote:
Thank MERLIN for SnitchSeeker!! O.o That's the one thing from him I have not read. I'd have to say IT! is one of my favorites...Although the movie they made for it freaks me out something awful. Yea, I love Anne Rice's writing style. I love the Vampire Chronicles...and Lestat. I'm not sure what your take is on the whole vampire thing...but her novels are definitely worth a read. ...And to slip another question in so this post will be relevant! "What's your favorite ride at Six Flags?" |
