I'm Kate! I'm a staffer of HERBOLOGY one of the most challenging but FUN subjects for me to be a part of xD I've been on SS since...2011? Wow WOW so long now but not nearly as long as some of the other dinosaurs around here ^_^ I'm about graduate university (and crying about it constantly because I love my school SO much) I will be attending grad school in the fall for creative writing (POETRY) so please ASK ME ALL THE KESTIONS EVER AND Remember the questions need to be to/about me! I want to be a professor...and to be a professor with my degree, you HAVE to be published. So essentially...a writer, a teacher, a lover, A FIGHTER.......of love. xD

okay. this is a complicated answer.

When it comes to interest, I am definitely more interested in aliens (I believe in aliens, I'LL SAY IT LOUD AND PROUD...and also ghosts but lol) because I find the idea of other beings out there is...very interesting. I find aliens scarier, like a LOT scarier, so I think that's why I prefer shows/movies about aliens.

HOWEVER

in RL? I WOULD ENCOUNTER A GHOST BECAUSE WAY LESS SCARY. but still scary

5. Hmm. This is honestly very hard. One of the best moments, I think, was when Elliot poured tea on Sophie Campbell's head...and called her a peasant or something. Another one was Paul crashing a Maggie/Zeke date... lol.

1. 5 random facts:
-My favorite color is lime green
-I sleep with a Winnie the Pooh bear teddy every night
-I prefer Diet Coke over regular Coke
-I wear contacts
-I was 3 pounds when I was born

[SPOILER=I was skyping Alice when I did this and she came up with this five facts and they're too funny not to post]
-I am into hot air balloon racing
-When I was little, I had an imaginary rabbit friend. I used to feed it carrots(my mom would actually buy them for me)

2. I just really enjoy writing poetry xD I'm also much better at it than writing short fiction. The brevity of poetry is nice, and the emotional impact of it really appeals to me.

4. Anything strawberry or apple scented, but perfume-wise, I am loving Nirvana White right now.

5. Paul Myers is...he started off as me jokingly creating the stereotypical hippy herbo professor and...transformed into this pretty in depth and complicated character xD

well..I haven't started yet, and I probably won't have a full time job for awhile yet, not while I'm in grad school...BUUUUT...yes. YES. scary times are ahead...but exciting as well!

Classic Poet: Robert Herrick hands down. his poetry is raunchy and hilarious and he's got major sass that I enjoy.

Little known poet: M Loncar. He wrote this book called "66 Galaxie" that I used a lot for my thesis this term. it's really interesting and his poetry hits me hard

Poet that intrigues me the most is Auden because he was openly gay, wrote lots of poems about boyfriends, and I think he really grew as a poet during his lifetime. Some of his early stuff is extremely BAD just like TERRIBLE and then he writes "Funeral Blues" and...*sobs* So good.
