Oh gosh, it's been a while since I've read the books; I'm actually just restarting OotP, but I'm not sure Voldie even realized that Dumbledore had the Elder Wand in the Order. If he doesn't, then the outcome would have been the same.

Actually, I had heard about HP when I was in high school, but thought it was rather silly at first. However, in my junior year, my neighbor let me borrowing PoA. After I read it, I had to get the entire series. I was hooked. I really enjoy the magical world that JKR set up; the books are well written and definitely leave room for the imagination. And the classic good vs evil is always a great storyline to follow, especially when it's a series.
