My name is Conner, or Con, depending on how lazy you are when it comes to typing. I have been a member of Snitchseeker since May 2008, and joined just in time for term 19 in the school RPG. My focus here on SS is the Wizarding World RPG and I was sorted into Slytherin and played a student for two terms before taking a school staff position starting term 21.

I have 'taught' three subjects in the school RPG; History of Magic, Defense Against the Dark Arts and currently, Ancient Runes. I play Professor Ethan Truebridge (who was also temporarily Head of Slytherin House for part of term 25) and have done so since term 21 across all three of those subjects. Aside from that I am the Admin for the new and improved Diagon Alley RPG, where I IC play Leon Odessa, the Head Curse Breaker at Gringotts. I pretty much help out wherever I'm needed here on SS though I do like to stick to the Wizarding World RPG, because there is never a dull moment.

I live in New Zealand, which is possibly the least cooperative time zone to play on Snitchseeker (GMT +13) But you'll still see me around pretty often because I get to set my own hours at work.

I'm the manager of some food place ;) we're open 7am-10pm every day, and since I'm in charge of the roster, I do get a fair amount of flexibility setting it. Boring things, but it keeps me well fed so I can't complain.

Cats, they're... cleaner. And less demanding. I don't mind dogs, I just suppose I'm used to cats and their independence.

Because it was scared of the Slytherin.

Borr's lesson in term 19 when he got stuck in the doorway, and the one after that when he was trying to make the boys say they were better than elves.

The duel with Kazi in term 21.That was epic, I'm pleased its in the archives, Xana was so epic.

Celandine's 14th Birthday at Floreans in term....22? Summer between 21 and 22 I think. with all the millions of people that were there and RPing and all. The karaoke at said party, and all the dramas and the ooc fun.

Favourite subject was History of Magic, and favourite class was my very first History of Magic class I think. The students got to stand on desks and catch chocolate frogs with butterfly nets... or maybe the Care of Magical Creatures class that I taught with Liisa about dragons. That was pretty good too, a lot of fun.

Most.... interesting question so far.

Hmm Blackwater. As in.... cave rafting.

I like the films, I don't have all that many problems with the films, especially considering the films have helped get people into the books. I'd choose the books over the films though.

Its pretty epic. Beautiful country with such a variety of scenery. Big enough that theres everything you need, but small enough that its never too crowded and theres plenty of space for everyone.

Proper v-day present... we have this thing here called the Winery Tour and thats for this year, so I'm not sure if it counts since the concert isn't for another four days. That along with an overnight in a B&B.

I do, but she isn't my favourite character.

Red, Blue and Yellow, because hopefully I'd get lucky and they'd combine themselves to make other colours. But... if I'm not allowed to be clever like that then:

Green - because I love nature, the trees and grass and verdant hills and all that
Blue- ditto. ocean and sky.
Yellow- Sunshine. Nuff said.

Hmmm. I did have someone ask to have their bagel provided with all the fillings seperate so they could assemble it themselves.

That was a little weird.

It can be fascinating for sure, theres plenty of room to be creative with it, but likewise there is a LOT of history and so theres a lot of REAL stuff to work with too.

North Island because sometimes people forget that its just as beautiful, and much of it is as untouched as the south.

Sirius Black probably. The grown up version rather than the cheeky troublemaker teen marauder version. I think he'd be interesting to talk to.

Most of the time, though I'm actually an admin rather than a mod, meaning there are more ways to mess up ;).

Well... my student character hated animals because they're dirty...

...and my professor used to have a chihuahua.

I think it depends on what you get into as far as plots and the like goes. I had more fun with my student character but it was exhausting sometimes trying to keep up, and I find being a professor more rewarding even if it isn't always as 'fun'.

I imagine you know the answer by now, but as is made clear in the site rules and right here in the newbie forum, once you make ten legitimate posts you can make use of the rest of the site, though some parts are restricted by your usergroup.

Night time, just after it gets dark because I like how calm it feels and I like not being tired at that point of the night, I get a lot done. Its my productive time.

In the movies? I am not all that fussed, I don't even mind that it doesn't all match up too much. You mean the actors? I'm not sure, I'm fairly alright with most of them.

And... I'd travel to see certain SSers in the USA.
