Nesting Occamy Rentals is here for you! Open since the summer of 2111, the shop owner and their staff have been working diligently to pair applicants to the perfect home above the existing shops - and with potential flatmates for those in need! If interested in applying, please read the information below and submit your application. Or if you have any questions, Hunter and his staff would be happy to speak with you.

This is the main thread. Please feel free to post your characters here to either play with others or for any IC questions your character may have. One of the Nesting Occamy employees or the proprietor, Hunter, will be happy to assist.

Below in the spoiler tag is the current list of all characters currently living in the Alley. If you would like to visit someone's else flat, please correspond with the owner's of that thread. Any posting without approval can be removed by a Diagon Alley Proprietor at the request of the thread owner(s).

Welcome to Nesting Occamy Rentals.
Please use the questionnaire to submit an application for rental. Once it has been processed and approved by the rental agents, you will receive a PM, including a link to your own thread for use in the Above the Alley subforum.
Characters will be able to share flats with other characters. We will need an application for each character, 17 and older, even if they are planning on sharing a flat with another individual who has already applied. Please fill out question 7 with name of desired flatmates. Please note, both applicants must fill out a separate application and list the other in order for flatmate placement to be valid. If you are still looking for a flatmate (or would like multiple flatmates), please answer questions 8-13 on your rental application and Nesting Occamy will pair you with additional applicants.
There are a multitude of different floor plans available: studios, 1 bedroom/1 baths, 2 bedroom/2 baths, 3 bedroom/2 baths and 4 bedroom/2 baths. Please make sure to indicate on your application which you are interested in.
If your character has kids and they will be residing with them as well, please let us know in the flatmates question so that the rental office has this information on record. Applications are not needed for minors.
Locations of flats are determined by employment status and availability. If there is a specific location or side of the street you are most interested in residing, please let us know in your application and we will do our best to accommodate.
Before you submit a questionnaire on behalf of your character, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
Quote: - You will need to renew your character's residency in one year's time OOC. (don't worry, you will get a PM reminder when the time is drawing near!)
- One application per character (a maximum of five at this time).
- You will be asked to supply three links to three times you have posted in the SnitchSeeker Wizarding World RPG forums in the past year prior to submitting your questionnaire. These three posts can be reused for submitting up to five characters and do not have to be from the character you are filling the questionnaire out for. Please note that posts from the Hogwarts RPG forums are not eligible for consideration.
- Be sure to fill out this questionnaire in its entirety and read each question carefully. Incomplete questionnaires cannot be processed.
- Once your application has been processed, you will receive a confirmation PM from one of the Diagon Alley Proprietors with the link to your new thread. Please be patient.
- Please feel free to utilize the SSRPG Character Biographies thread to post bios for your characters. If a bio is available, you can send us the link or include in additional information on the application and we will link to the character's biography in the master list of filled apartments located here in the FAQ thread.
- As these are threads for your character’s personal home life, please bear in mind during your play the Snitchseeker Site Rules and make sure to keep all in-home interactions site appropriate.
- Once you've completed your application, please be patient regarding your results. The team behind the scenes will be reviewing and responding as quickly as possible, however matching with prospective flatmates may take some time. We appreciate your understanding!
