"Alright then." Jaren raised his wand. "Expelliarmus!" |
"Protego" and the spell successfully blocked Expelliarmus... "I did it! Thank you for practecing with me! Wanna cast some other spell at me? Like Immobulus or Gelatinus like Proffesor Rae said.." |
"If you're up to it." Jaren readied his wand yet again. "Immobulus!" |
Mithos raised his wand but before we could say Protego he was paralized "I can't move my body" he muttered silently "will this wear off..." he added |
Ashlie grabbed ERiccity's shoulder and pulled him out to a spot that was more open. "You're going to be my partner," she told him with a grin. "Shall we begin?" |
Jaren was mildly surprised the boy was able to talk at all, in his experience Immobulus froze up the whole body except for internal functions like heartbeat and breathing. Perhaps the Shield Charm blocked the worst of it. He waved his wand and muttered the appropriate incantation, releasing Mithos from the spell. |
"And I don't get a say in it?!" Eric cried in mock outrage. He drew out his wand and grinned at her. "Ready when you are." |
"thank you... i hope that doesn't happen again. Im ok.. I think it would be better if we use the basics like Expelliarmus... i will try to disarm you and make your wand 'fly to me' like you said. ok?" |
Ashlie grinned. "Do you ever?" Whipping her wand out of her sleeve in a fluent motion, she yelled out "Expelliarmus!" before she had even finished walking away. |
Jaren nodded silently, raising his wand and getting into a duelling stance, so that he faced Mithos sideways. |
"Protego!" Eric cast and the spell bounced off. He moved to the side, pointing his wand at Ashlie. "Expelliarmus!" |
Mithos pointed his wand at Jaren "Expelliarmus!!" |
Trying to dodge both the rebound of the spell and the new Expelliarmus sent at her, Ashlie jumped to the side. "No fair!" she pouted. "You've gotten good expelliarmus!" |
"It's your fault, I think. Too much pointers," Eric accused her. |
After hearing the professor's words that no first year should partner another, Bailey looked around for an older student to assist her. |
Ashlie made a hmphing sound, sending another Disarming spell at Ericcity. "I think not." Right after that, she sent him the Immobulous spell. |
Eric managed to dodge the Disarming Spell but was frozen by the Immobulous. Darn. |

Jaren's wand flew out of his hand and whizzed towards Mithos, though loosing heart halfway and falling to the ground. Jaren silently walked over to pick it up again. "Better." |
"Thank you," said Eric, grimacing slightly. "Do you want to start again?" |
Ashlie nodded. "Of course. You may begin." |
Fiona looked around for a partner and saw a young girl looking lonely. "Hi(elvishwitchx) Would you like to be my partner? Don't worry I'm a fifth year so we won't get in trouble or anything." |
ugh! *under his breath* I still need a partner.*said sheepishly* |
