Ravenclaw Table For those who belong in Ravenclaw House, in the middle of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Blue banners containing an embroidered bronze eagle float above the polished table in honour of the wise Rowena Ravenclaw. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages. |
Zephyr trudged into the Great Hall and quickly found a seat at the Ravenclaw table. Though not quite as deflated as he had been in the past weeks, there was still a little sting when he remembered that they'd lost the Quidditch Cup. And not only lost, but they were in last place. He was so massively disappointed in himself, it was hard to put into words. But there were bright spots to be seen. The term was coming to an end, so he could put this behind him sooner rather than later. He could focus on practicing throughout the summer with - hopefully, fingers crossed!!! - a U-17 team. He had high hopes even amidst the dark cloud that was the last few weeks of term. He had to get through this feast first though. Food would be here aaaany minute now. Any minute now... Ember entered the Great Hall much more subdued than usual. Or, well, it was more common the last few months, even though she tried to hide it when she could, so maybe it was usual now, but in the grand scheme of her life, it wasn't usual, so... ...anyway, she found an empty spot as close to the end of the table as she could. She wanted to be able to leave easily after the food appeared. She'd considered skipping entirely and staying in her dorm, but...the food was tempting. The elves always made excellent food, but there was something special about the Start and End of Term Feasts that Ember enjoyed. It might have simply been her imagination, but even so, she'd decided not to miss it. It would take some time until the food appeared though, so she fiddled idly with a loose thread on her sleeve to pass the time. |
Thena had been quiet for the most part, even as she sat with Hermy. Most of her time had been spent watching other seventh years trekking up to the Memory Book. She was in awe of many of them because they all seemed to know exactly what they wanted to write. As for her? Thena hadn’t the foggiest what she wanted to write. But! She had finally gotten herself up there and surprisingly, inspiration had struck. Athena had returned to the Ravenclaw table feeling lighter; she hadn’t realised that the entry had been weighing on her mind that much. Returning to her spot beside her sister, it was only now that she felt sort of chatty. “Hi, Zephyr. Hi, Ember. Eager to get home?” Athena knew she was! |
