Spare Office https://i.postimg.cc/0QnKY4ct/spare-office-banner10.jpg If you happen to try one of the doors near the end of the sixth-floor corridor, you might just find yourself in a handsome (if not dusty and aged) office of a surprisingly large size. The faint smell of crystallized pineapple seems to linger in the air of the room, which contains numerous side doors and nooks and crannies. Unfortunately for you, all of them remain firmly locked so there is no telling what lies behind them. |
Job Fair Consult - Dennis Walles Dennis had indicated that he'd been having some trouble figuring out what to do, and boy, could Javier relate to THAT. He himself had ended up working in Games and Sports for how many years?? All because he'd just picked the first job that had called him back. While he didn't regret his time in the Ministry, it didn't make him nearly as happy as potions did, and he was thrilled he was able to return to his roots. In short, he was actually sort of EXCITED to have these consultations and chat with all the kids and help them figure out what they wanted to do. He'd scheduled their meeting in the spare office on the sixth floor, and Javier had brought a folder with some university pamphlets and information for the Ministry as well. That had to be a good start, yeah? He had transfigured some of the junk in here into a desk and a few chairs to at least give them a place to sit and talk. |
For RoRo! It seemed to be surprisingly hard to find somewhere within the castle to practice for her NEWTs without bothering someone else, or being bothered in turn. The latter was only a consideration because her goal for the day was to see if she was able to conjure a patronus. And when that likely failed, some practice on non-verbals which she already knew she struggled with. And if she happened to fail on both of those items, well... it was less embarrassing if there wasn't any witnesses. Taking a glance into a spare classroom on the sixth floor, she was glad to see it seemingly unoccupied and entered the room - selecting a desk to float out to where she could sit at it and pulling out all of her supplies. She figured it would be easier to try the patronus charm if she had a list of memories readily available. But... it was really hard to think of instances in which she'd been REALLY happy, even if she knew there were a few. How did someone know if it was strong enough? "... Maybe if I rank them 1-5 and try different levels of joy..." She was talking to herself nearly immediately, scratching her head with a pen she'd retrieved from her bag as she stared at the now numbered parchment. |
