*changes mind about raising hand.....notices the look on professors face about her past.* :(

Arch_Angel 06-20-2004 03:37 AM

"Me as well."
Sage said twirling his wand under his fingers.

MarissaMalfoy 06-20-2004 03:40 AM

*giggles a little*

ifancydan 06-20-2004 03:42 AM

Lacy listened intently to the professor. She had has such a hard time it sounded and she didn't want to be any trouble.

MarissaMalfoy 06-20-2004 03:42 AM

*Raises her hand*

Umm, Professer? What will you be teaching us today?

Cassirin 06-20-2004 03:42 AM

"Alright," Professor Rae smiled. "I know we've had a bit of a rough start, but I wanted to lay down the groud rules so that we understand each other. ONLY talk about the class. Answer questions or ask them of me, not each other, please. Let's move on."

"I want to speak briefly about the Dark Arts. What is Dark Magic, and how is it different than the magic that we use?"

coolant661 06-20-2004 03:45 AM

Dark Magic, Anthony says. Is using common and not so common spells for the harm of others. While Normal magic is spells and charms used for practically everyday life.

*Anthony sat patiently.*

MarissaMalfoy 06-20-2004 03:45 AM

*raises her hand*

Dark magic is magic that is used to do bad things to others, like cure or hex them

Mike_The_Mighty 06-20-2004 03:45 AM

" dark magic is magic that can harm or protet your self. Dark magic can also kill or harm people. The magic we use is magic that prevents it and protects us. "

LOTR vs. HP 06-20-2004 03:45 AM

*walks in and sits in a table alone*

crazymutant2000 06-20-2004 03:46 AM

Chuck raises hand

Dark magic is a very powerful type of magic. It is also a very evil type of magic because it used to hurt people and make other people do your biding. It can also get people into a lot of trouble.

ronslilpyro 06-20-2004 03:48 AM

Feesha raises her hand..

Dark magic is magic used by people to do harm to others, while the magic that we use is to help us in our everyday life, or to help others rather than harm them

MarissaMalfoy 06-20-2004 03:49 AM

*raises hand again*

Oh, and it's different from our magic because the magic we use is to protect ourselves and others...not to harm them

amerikangurl03 06-20-2004 03:49 AM

The Dark Arts is magic used for evil. Its different from other forms of magic because the other magic we use can be used for good or evil, the Dark Arts is used purely for bad reasons and is evil. The Dark Arts deals with curses aimed to hurt and effect free will.

ifancydan 06-20-2004 03:50 AM

Lacy listened to everyone speaking at once. She was going to say something but what she was going to say had already been said by the other students.

LOTR vs. HP 06-20-2004 03:52 AM

*watches everyone just repeating other people*

ronslilpyro 06-20-2004 03:52 AM

As students continue making new points Feesha puklls out a poiece of parchment and her quill and begins to take notes

carebear721 06-20-2004 03:53 AM

-Sarah takes out a piece of parchment, and a quill and ink, ready to take notes-

coolant661 06-20-2004 03:54 AM

*Anthony begins writing new things students begin replying.*

MarissaMalfoy 06-20-2004 03:55 AM

*listens to the rest of the students give their answer as well*

Cassirin 06-20-2004 03:56 AM

"Exactly... good answers from all of you. Five points to Ravenclaw for Anthony's answer, since he was first. I can see that you all have the right idea. Dark Magic is magic that is solely used to hurt or harm. It comes from a place of evil and malicious intention inside the caster, meaning that anyone can say the spell, but not everyone can actually cast it."

"What about Dark Creatures? What makes a creature dark?"

ifancydan 06-20-2004 03:56 AM

Lacy sees everybody taking notes and decides she probably should too. She hears the professor's question and answers. "What makes a creature dark is that like dark arts, it hurts something or someone."

Dark Creatures, Anthony says. Are made from the dark and bad people who raise them...they are not always bad but can be according to their surroundings and traits.

MarissaMalfoy 06-20-2004 03:59 AM

*raises hand* Well a dark creature would probably be a creature that kills not to live but for the shear pleasure of it?

crazymutant2000 06-20-2004 04:00 AM

Chuck raises hand

Dark creatures are unfriendly and are capable of harming people. They are the creatures you don't want to get mixed up with.
