Pathways https://i.postimg.cc/MHDD6kXp/pathways-banner6.jpg A set of paths link the Courtyard to almost every area of the Grounds. Walking upon these stone covered paths, lined with all sorts of trees is a lovely way to clear your mind after a long day of classes. This is a quiet area of the Grounds with the soft sound of leaves rustling in the wind or lightly crunching below your feet. Doesn't the air just seem fresher around here somehow? |
Open! This was the perfect location for a ghosts in the graveyard situation. However, it wasn't dark enough for such an event. Noah looked around, identifying good places to hide. This was good. There was a place to hide behind that bench and one over by the thick bushes. Heavy enough to hide a person of his stature. Right... He continued walking, enjoying the September weather. |

It only took him another second to recognize the color of his robes. Ah Gryffindor....probably looking for ways to get around sneakily. Mark hadn't spoken up yet. Only kept at most two Baby Elephant Lengths apart from him. How big were Baby Elephants anyways? |

He took a few steps back and paused when he heard footsteps next to him. He turned around and saw an older boy behind him. "umm.. hello?' he said, offering a small smile. "What's up?" Yes. that was much better than the whole Hi! I'm Noah!. |
Quote:
He peeked down at the Notebook again. "I haven't really gone looking, but I think you could find way better hiding spots than here." Might as well strike up some conversation. |

Noah paused as he glanced down at his notebook. He glanced up when the boy told him that there were better places to hide. Better? Really? Please tell me where, he wondered as he readied his pen to take notes. "Really? Where would you recommend?" he asked with a tilt of his head. |

"Like I said I'm not familiar with many spots to hide. I just think that there would be better places to look than the Pathway. The Castle itself should definitely be your first place to go looking." The amount of secret passages in that Old Old Olde Olde Castle is infinite for sure. |

Noah paused, reflecting on that statement, and noted the ominous feeling that came with it. "Always be ready.. What happens at Hogwarts? I've heard its got quite an-" Interesting? Perplexing? No. Strange? Kinda... "a strange history with events occurring..." He remembered what Jina had shared with him about the previous term where all the founders hopped out of their portraits and ran a muck! Or when Louise on the train mentioned that they had to have school at Beauxbatons because two people had DIED. He nodded at the boy's statement. "Got it. Thanks for the tip." He then offered the boy a smile paired with an extended hand. "I'm Noah Nam. Complete newbie here but that's probably obvious." He laughed. |
Missa Missa :3 Upon dismissal of Care of Magical Creatures, Eiji absolutely could not wait to get back to his dorm to 1) deposite all the ingredients he had collected during the lesson and 2) bathe and CHANGE because his robes were covered in kneazle fur. Yes, he knew that he could just apply a few cleaning charms and be all set...but there was something about the physical act of washing that felt more assuring than the wave of a wand. Probably because he preferred to work with his hands, hence his passions of potions and alchemy which required the steady hand. Huffing and puffing not too unlike a Big Bad Wolf in some cases, Eiji's cheeks were also a bit red from the sheer embarrassment Professor Williamson had caused him and if he allowed his mind to wander there was also the whole debacle that was neither Nina nor Missa picking to be his partner that he was still refusing to entirely acknowledge he absolutely deserved. Being 17-years-old was so hard sometimes. So his pace was quick and his direction sure, he made his way along the path with his bag slung over his shoulder until the sleeve of his robe became ensnared by a jagged branch and that sufficiently clotheslined him with a loud and irritated GRUNT. |

The way he had behaved in class had REALLY rubbed her the wrong way, and she wasn’t even sure what had it been this time. She was starting to hate how it was becoming harder and harder to figure out what exactly was going on in that head of his - especially since he still refused to share. So she had made her way to the outside of his common room, where someone told her they had seen him heading out to the grounds. Sighing to herself, she made her way there too - all the while, telling herself all the things she should say to him this time. By the time she reached the pathways, she had almost prepared a speech and convinced herself how this time she won’t let him keep things from her - but then she heard him loudly grunt and she found herself quickly jogging up to him, forgetting in the moment all that she had thought of, “are you okay?!" |
Quote:
it did... "I was turned into a harry hungry version of myself during my second term, all because I pet some unknown adorable looking creature. Turned out it also ate a Professor. So that was awful." Mark said almost unfazed from the experience. Hogwarts has that effect on some. "You just expect something to happen." "Noah Nam?" Mark looked at him a moment sizing him up. There really wasn't any reason to size him up. Mark just did. he extended his hand and shook it "Mark Gunter. I think you'll fit in just fine around here." small chuckle. |

He nodded. "That's me," and then Noah took his hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you, Mark. Really? What makes you say that?" |
MELL/Drew It was October already? Seriously, September had come and gone far too quickly for the former Parisian. Why had it taken her this long to just get in a nice walk to clear her head – oh, you know…EVERYTHING or not really everything but just it felt like everything. So here she was along the path with an old pair of those white muggle headphones with the chords placed into her ear as she practically skipped down the path. |
Quote:
What the...!? One minute he was walking along the pathway on his way down to the famous lake that he had heard so much about and the next minute something hit him from behind and causing him to stumble forward almost landing flat on his Gathering himself, Drew turned around to see what was attacking him and was a little shocked to see that it was Islay. Why was she hitting him? "Islay! What are you doing?" He failed to notice the headphones. |
Quote:
Islay was mid twirl when her face came into contact with something solid, soft, and warm….and it smelled familiar? her face was already reddening as she noticed the very solid body she had just twirled her way into had fallen and merlin she felt bad, she felt so bad. |
Quote:
MERLIN!! She was really quite upset, wasn't she. If he was that type of guy, Drew could have played on it and made her feel really guilty and probably got something out of it but he was not that guy. "Islay!!" He gently grabbed her shoulders to hold her still. She was getting all worked up for nothing. "It's okay. I'm good. And you didn't hurt me." Pfft...as if. He was a tall, muscly guy for Merlin's sake, a little scratch on the face was not going to make him cry and besides he had plenty of beauty products in his dorm to cover up any faults to his face. Letting go of her shoulders, Drew gave her a bit of a cheeky smile. "Although you now owe me one." |
Quote:
Maybe she had gone overboard – but this was Islay Moreau we were talking about. The girl had a knack for over reactions to the slightest of things. |
Quote:
She was too cute for words with the way she was so concerned about him. "You should think about being a Healer." What with her apologies and her compassion. She reminded him of his sister actually, that's what she was like when he had been growing up. Of course after their mother went off the rails, his elder siblings had no choice but to step up and be the parent. But he didn't want to think about that now, not when he had a beautiful girl in front of him. Oh that little smile and the tilt of the head. "Mmmm." He gave her a little smirk and also tilted his head to the side. "Well my cheek is stinging a little. You know, maybe you could kiss it better?" |
Quote:
Grunting and practically growling at the stupid branches that his robes were tangled and twisted around, Eiji almost didn't notice Missa's arrival. Scratch that, he hadn't noticed her arrival but he certainly heard her and the warmth in her voice was both soothing while at the same time spurred this mood he had propelled himself into. "Just peachy," he grit out through clenched teeth while still trying to figure out how the hell his robes had become THIS ensnared in such a short amount of time. "Just getting acquainted with this stupid bush." It wasn't just salt Eiji could dish out. He was also quite fluent in sarcasm. |
Drew’s words weren’t taken lightly by Islay. That was in deed one of the career paths she had been considering despite the voice in the back of her head that always cracked jokes about how she would be a Doctor Moreau. Like the titular character of one of her favorite books – “Thank you Drew, I think I’d consider it” she smiled softly, but really, she was considering it. |
Quote:
He nuzzled her neck a little before pulling back a step. If he wasn't careful he would carry away and he had to remember that they were standing in the middle of a pathway out in the open. "The song you were listening to must have been good for you to be so distracted." |

Her brown eyes watched him, a little desperate to see the person she had seen during the summer. Why did that person keep leaving? What was so horrible about Hogwarts that made him leave so often?? It was ... frustrating. And it left a very uncomfortable feeling in her chest. She felt worried about him. Moving closer to him, she rested her hand on his arm. “Hold still” she sighed, “Let me help you” |
Quote:
"Don't tell me you have forgotten already?" He gave her a mock hurt look and placed his hands over his heart. "And here I thought I had swept you off your feet." Seriously how could she forget about the picnic out in the gardens and the candlelit dinner by the fountain. He seriously needs to thank Emerson again for teaching him how to charm girls. Apparently she was not going to elaborate anymore than that. Drew took her by the hand and began walking along the pathway. "Maybe later." If they were wearing headphones then how would they be able to talk to each other. "So what have you been up to in the past year?" He swung her hand gently as they walked. "And is it just me or is this school as crazy as it seems?" |
”oh come on” she just shook her head, and stifled a laugh as he gave tried to give her that dramatic look of hurt, “I was just curious what part of today reminded you of it – I mean…I don’t remember accidentally hurting you back at Beauxbaton” sure, she hadn’t been that forthcoming about transferring but who would want to leave their friends? |
