So wrong answers could be right as long as Sandhu liked them. The rules were changing before Eloise's eyes even if she didn't know the rules in the first place or were there ruled besides hitting the buzzer and answering. ahHA look at the answers now. They were beautiful and one was what you expect from a Gryffindor. Yoda as a headmaster would be amazing. Oprah well that would be weird. All wrong and all were making her laugh. Well Nina wasnt answering as usual and guess it was her turn again unless Mr. Boring wanted to. Noo Ok Than buzzer time! "Kanye West and it ended in his family taking over Hogwarts and a mass revolt against them" Wasnt in the textbooks because of how crazy it was. hahahaha Now imagine how amusing that would have been. |
SPOILER!!: griffin STAR WARS. Simran loved Star Wars. She adored it. Not nearly as much as she adored Star Trek, which her parents watched with her on Netflix as a child, which had sparked her interest in space in the first place, but she loved it all the same. Liking the two franchises didn't have to be mutually exclusive. LOOKIN' AT YOU, AIREY FLAMSTEED. Anyway. "Very well you have answered," she said, nodding seriously. "A great headmaster he was." SPOILER!!: Jean Granger Because, Jade, when the first meeting of a club was weird and fun and crazy, people talked about it. And when people talked about it, it was more effective than putting up a poster on the noticeboard. And when more people knew about it, more people would show up for the next meeting, where actual quizzing would take place. But Oprah, huh? Simran could get behind that. Kinda. A tiny bit before her time, but her parents had adored the woman and her show. And the memes persisted long after she had been born. "A wonderful woman -- my parents loved her. Too bad she retired before I could enter Hogwarts." SPOILER!!: ArianaBlack Well, Nina Castillo, there was always going to be something in life that you don't understand. Simran's one thing she didn't understand was literally her entire family. Amrita and her terrible decision-making, especially. Her grandchild had inherited the Gryffindor genes in the worst way, and it was probably for the best that the girl had been raised in Germany. The idea of Amrita surrounded by other Gryffindors was enough to horrify. SPOILER!!: oh its Erik ok The objective of the game was to appeal to Professor Sandhu's sense of humour. Maybe she'd write it down for the next Troll Bowl, but she had to at least pretend to be objective here. Simran released a small snort at the idea of the Kardashian-Wests taking over Hogwarts and gave the Miss Fairfield an approving nod. "I would have revolted too." "The correct answer," she said, addressing the room once more. "Is Albus Dumbledore, who served as headmaster for 33 years, his term ending with his death at the hands of Severus Snape." "And that's ten points to Gryffindor!" Because who could beat Yoda? Did they have time for another question to break the tie? Simran swivelled her watch around to check her timepiece, and then noted that they had spent about fifteen minutes too long out. "Oh my stars!" "Okay, children, that's all we have time for today. Gryffindor and Hufflepuff are tied at 20 points apiece. I'll do some maths over the next week to make sure we don't find ourselves tied again." "Have a good rest of your day!" she said, opening the door to let them out. "We'll do this again next week, but with real answers." OOC: THANKS FOR COMING, GUYS. It's been so much fun seeing your characters judge Simran but play along. Y'all are awesome. Feel free to RP your characters leaving and I'll close the thread tomorrow. |
Yoda! Beat that, Hufflepuff! No, no one could beat that? Ha! Point to Gryffindor! Cordelia trollmaster Winklebleck strikes again! Cordelia giggled as the professor reacted to her answer in Yoda speak. ”Yes!” Albus Dumbledore’s 33 years didn’t even hold a candle to Yoda’s 400 years but since Yoda was a troll answer 33 years was still fairly impressive. They won! Well, tied. Gryffindor and Hufflepuff would have to settle that later. Cordelia looked to her teammate Larry Dinkleberry (Lucas) and grinned. They had won this together, as one team. But mostly her because just like how as seeker in quidditch the outcome of the match usually came down to her, she had been the one carrying the Gryffindor team for troll bowl. Actually Dinkleberry’s only significant contribution had been to lose them a round that they might otherwise have won, and therefore would have won this whole thing outright, but just like in quidditch she had to appreciate and work with her team members even though she was the one who earned the bulk of the points to win the match. They hadn’t really won though because it was a tie. Whatever, she was too caught up in her moment of victory to be overly concerned about that minor detail. ”TROLL BOWL, TROLL BOWL, TROLL BOWL!” Cordelia chanted in celebration. Would they get, like, house points or commemorative pins or something for winning? Even if they didn’t she still had bragging rights and the title of trollmaster so that was cool too. What was that about real answers next time? Trolling was significantly more fun. Professor Sandhu was, like, the best professor ever. "Can we do a troll bowl tiebreaker next time?" Now it was time to take this celebration back to the common room. |
