Please check this board regularly for notices regarding homework, classes and exam dates. Also, if you have any questions, ask away!

The topic we are studying this term is History of Hogwarts.

This is where I make notices regarding classes, homework, exams, and the like.

Classroom Code
  • Please please please DON'T "be late" for a lesson (i.e. posts like *Greg rushes into the classroom, panting*
"Sorry Professor, am I late?"). You can never be "late" for a lesson. You are always "there" even if you don't post anything. Even if you just say '"Thank you for the interesting lesson" *Greg leaves*' at the very end of a lesson, it's enough. It's extremely annoying if half the class is "late". Being late costs you house points, so I definately don't encourage it!
  • Don't start teaching the lesson yourself. You may "correct" me if I'm wrong occasionally, just don't start making it seem like I'm wrong and you're always right: this is my lesson, after all. I am teaching you, and not vice versa.
  • Feel free to answer questions. If you don't know the answer, you can still make something up - you never know, it might be correct!
  • Don't make any too horrible accidents happen to yourself. This is really attention-seeking and your posts will most likely be ignored or deleted. Also don't kill yourself (Though I doubt you would want to).
  • Don't horseplay around - it might cost you house points.
  • You don't need to do homework (when it's given) though if you do, you will earn house points for it.
  • The lessons also follow all the basic rules of SS: no cussing, spamming, insulting other members or myself, etc.

Hello, erm-- how do we go about turning in homework?

~Slytherin_Heir~ 03-18-2004 02:50 AM

yes I was wondering about that too. Some professors do it through their email...would it be the same for you ?

Keredwel 03-18-2004 05:42 PM

You PM it to me, unless I state otherwise :)

Hello Professor :)

**sits quietly at dsk and raises hand**

Professor, I have heard Harry Potter named his owl after a witch called Hedwig, is this true and can you tell us about Hedwig?

Thank you Professor.

Thanks for the advice professor. I don't want to go and lose house points, but i was just wondering if we could say: * walks in calssroom and takes a seat *.
