First Official Quidditch Match of the term!

Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw

The match will begin on Tuesday March 30, 2004 at approximately 12 noon EST (-5 GMT). Be sure everyone has read the Rules and Guidelines before the match begins.

*Walks on to the Quidditch field as the sun hits her eyes. Holding her Numbus 2001 in hand, she walks up to Edge.*
"When will we start?" Katie asks him.

Professor Hendirk walks out onto the playing field, looks around, and takes a deep breath. He points his wand to his throat and says, "Sonorus!"

"Welcome all to this term's first Quidditch match, Ravenclaw vs Gryffindor! I want to remind everyone here that fans and Cheerleaders are not allowed on the playing field. There are places for cheerleaders and fans.

Any non-team member caught on the Pitch will lose House points and possibly get sent to detention.

Both teams will be allowed to play in the match today (House and Reserve Teams). Remember only Chasers/Keepers can answer Quaffle questions, Seekers to answer Snitch questions and Beaters can answer Bludger questions. Any team members answering out of turn will result in points going to the opposite team.

Player substitutions are allowed but only by team captains and they must be posted in this thread. The change does not take place until myself, or another Admin/Mod makes the change in the thread. Questions are official when asked by myself or another Staff/Admin/Mod. Mods who are on other Quidditch teams are not qualified to ask questions or give out points during the match. If there are any questions, PM me."

Professor Hendrik kicks open his Quidditch trunk and the Bludgers take off. He opens the compartment and releases the Snitch and grabs the Quaffle.

"Alright! Teams get ready, I want a good clean game!"

He tosses the Quaffle in the air and the game begins!
