Olivia! So, Edmund's fears he had the first night here of turning into a giant blueberry didn't seem likely to come true. This was because the food situation was nearly as impressive as it had first seemed, and because this place saw HUGE. Seriously, not only were there all the stairs he had to climb each and every day, but there were so many hallways, and rooms and places to explore. He figured he's never be able to see it all, but decided to explore as much as possible. Today was one of those days where he was doing that very thing. Peeking his head into the door of a classroom, he let out a low “Wow.” before entering. He wasn't completely sure if he was allowed in here, but he was going to look it over anyways. He didn't consider himself to be super artsy, but it looked like this room had everything that even Michelangelo could want. He fiddled about with some of the objects, thinking it'd be cool to do something arty. |

Paint smudged on her right cheek, Olivia lifted her knees and went on to greet the new person. "Hi." she waved her hand with a paintbrush and a cloth she uses to clean up the spill. "I was trying to do this," she showed the boy her work of art from the great table at the center. A cat-to-be, with whiskers. "But I ended up spilling the art paint." |

Olivia beamed at the boy. "Hi. My name's Oli. Olivia Hurst." She held out her free hand (smeared with art paint of course). "Thank you for helping me tidy things up." |

"I'm Edmund," he said, taking her paint smeared hand with his. "You're welcome," He said with a grin. "After all, the quicker we clean it, the quicker you can get back to your art." And he would be able to fiddle about with some of the interesting equipment too. "I just don't think we will be able to use these rags for anything else." He said looking at the paint soaked things. |

"Nice meeting you Edmund." The boy accepted her handshake when Olivia realized her hands were full of art paint. "Oh. I'm sorry Edmund." She tried to removed the paint transferred to the boy's hand but she only made it worse. "We have to throw these rags." |
Anna Banana!! It was getting chilly outside, what with it being fall and all, which was a big no thank you from Nettie. She was going to stay inside as long as possible now that it had started getting cold - except for classes, which for some reason these crazy professors still INSISTED on having outside sometimes even though the weather was headed towards winter. Ugh. She was going to be in for a longggg January and February, that was for sure. So today, she decided to head to the art classroom to begin a new sketch. It was of her kitten, Rudy, who was quickly turning into a full grown cat and she was NOT ready for it. She'd already started it, so she plopped down at one of the desks and pulled out her sketch pad. |

The Gryffindor boy shrugged, and was a little startled by her odd wiping of his hand.“It's alright, it's just paint.” Honestly, if the gross stains he'd gotten on his clothes from the weird plants and potions ingredients here, he was sure the paint would come off of his hand, and his clothes if he got it on them. “Maybe who ever cleans our clothes can clean these too?” Grabbing another rag off of the table, he used it to wipe up the last bit of paint. “There, how's that?” |
Text Cut: BFF Maddie had heard there was an art room at Hogwarts, but she'd never actually been there. Since it was getting colder outside, she decided to try and find this art room, since going outside right now was starting to be out of the question. She might as well find something fun to do inside. Besides, hadn't she promised herself she'd get out more this school year? So here she was! Getting out! Of course the room was near the Muggle Studies classroom. It seemed like something a Muggle Studies professor would set up. Entering the room, Maddie took a quick look around before deciding she was definitely out of her element. She didn't even draw a good stick figure! But there was NETTIE, who was starting to be her super cool new Ravenclaw friend. The slightly younger girl looked like she knew what she was doing, so Maddie took the seat next to her. "Ahem." "Hey, Nettie!" she half-whispered. "You think you can show an amateur what to do in here?" |
