Armour Gallery https://s26.postimg.cc/uybfo23rt/arm...ery-banner.jpg Adjacent to the Trophy Room is a long corridor where numerous polished suits of armour are on exhibit. This collection of armour has been through a lot over the centuries that the school has been in existence, granted they don't look like it for not a single scratch can be found. If you know your history well enough, you'll be able to easily imagine the circumstances that these suits endured. The weapons they are holding say enough. |
For Ali :P Before coming to Hogwarts, Ari wasn’t too keen on the prospect of being stuck in a dingy, old castle. But upon arriving on the boats, gliding along the glossy lake, seeing the brilliant, night view of the castle swept Ari into a trance. This place is massive and MAGNIFICENT. There is so much to explore! Ari heard about the armors that they kept at Hogwarts. She heard that they could be summoned for battle when Hogwarts is in danger. How cool is that?! Ari loves anything to do with battles or armors or medieval history. If Ari didn’t live in the twenty-first century, she’d certainly want to be a glorious knight! Ari eventually found her way into the armor collection. After patting herself on the back, she made herself busy, examining the armors left and right of her. Although the armors were probably centuries old, Ari couldn’t detect a single scratch on them. They barely even looked used! Hmm… she wondered if she could try one on? She wondered if there was an armor in this room that could fit her - she does have a petite figure after all. Had there been any dwarf knights in history? Hmm… maybe this armor will fit… No… maybe that one- CLANG! CLANK! CLASH! The banging sound of metal echoed throughout the gallery. Ari had to quickly dodge the heavy metal crash landing at her feet. Nope, she should have NOT touched that armor. |
Tippin (and open) Beth |
Naughty Miss *pop* Tippin was ready for some dusting. Tippin was always ready for some dusting. The first thing he saw upon entering the armour gallery, however, was one of the studentsies being naughty. Oh no. Not good. "Please, Miss!" The house elf squeaked, tiny arms flailing. "Miss must not be touching!" Oh no. Oh no, oh no. |
Beth of course, had heard the clanking – but it wasn’t her fault or anything that she had done. The blonde simply leaned out from her little area and watched as Tippin seemed to flail her tiny arms. ”Hi, there” she smiled kindly at the little house elf. Maybe she could help her out…house elves had magic. |
SPOILER!!: Ari! <3 Kay had been on her way to the Library to Needless to say the woman almost leapt out of her skin. With hurried steps, she moved to the Gallery to see one of the precious armours on the floor and one Arielle Wedgwood standing over it. "How did this happen?'' Kay asked by way of greeting. |

"And Tippin cannot help Miss Arabelle with her homework. Tippin must work!" Or face the wrath of Algamus and his broom. "Please Miss behave while Tippin does his work." He waved his feather duster for extra emphasis. |

"Sorry Professor..." Ari tried to explain. "I was just... just trying to..." She wasn't sure if the students were allowed to touch the armors, so she tried to keep that detail out of her story. "...to look at the armors... closely..." She gave a tiny, guilty smile. |

behave? but she wasn’t exactly misbehaving right? Talking to suits of armour yes, and asking if the house elves would help her reenact the battle of Hogwarts, but not touching the suits…if she had, well, then she would have likely climbed her way into one of the suits…that was how, after all, small limbed creatures did this right? |
SPOILER!!: Ari! <3 Obviously she had startled the young Gryffindor. Kay looked suspiciously at her. Really... taking a close look at the armours? Was Arielle telling the truth or was she trying to get out of trouble? Maybe a little of both but the professor was going to get to the bottom of this. "How close exactly were you examining these? Perhaps you can start by setting the armour right? I'll need to take a closer look to see if there's any damage.'' These were valuable pieces to Hogwarts's history. How dare Arielle be so careless? … "Ten points from Gryffindor for being so careless.'' It will very well be more if there's any cracks, dents or anything of the sort to the armour. |
