Back Cars https://s26.postimg.org/ynolr5q55/back-cars-banner.jpg If you want to be the last to leave or want to hang with the more rowdy crowd, then the back passenger cars of the train are for you. Just like the other cars, a long corridor provides access to the many compartments, each labelled with a letter, available for you and your friends to hunker down in until the train has come to a complete stop. Cushioned seats and large windows, allowing perfect views of the British scenery on your journey, await. |
For anyone Carrying what would be described as a 'carry on' if this were a plane, Ronan made his way down the, for now anyway, empty corridor trying to chose a compartment. He obviously didn't want to be too close to the luggage cart, for noise reasons nor did he want to be in the front cars, again for noise reasons (did Skylar Diggory really have to yell like that?). He finally settled for one in the middle of the back cars, where the cool kids would converge. And of course, he was the coolest of the cool, so it made perfect sense. Now to settle in and wait for more of the cool kids join him. #Partypeople |

And ready to face her last year at Hogwarts. It would also be a terrible year, she knew that. Honestly, why did she need to go back to Hogwarts when all she wanted to do was play Quidditch? There wasn't even any Quidditch at Hogwarts, there was nothing waiting for her at that school. The whole thing was a waste of time but, apparently, she was required to attend school for one more year even if her parents weren't required to be honest with her. Turns out, the adult excuse didn't work on seventeen year olds. Focused as she was in her own inner monologue, she failed to notice that the compartment she had walked into was already occupied. In fact, she failed to notice the other presence in the room as she slammed the door shut behind her, dropped her bag on the seat and proceeded to remove her light jumper (the first of three layers of clothing, because English summer would never change), ready to get into her uniform. Might as well get it over with, right? |

Since his head was buried in said bag, he missed the girl storming down the corridor until into his carriage she came, er, slammed. And promptly started removing her jumper. Merrr-lin. But, to her benefit, he was a gentleman. "What's eating you?" he asked pleasantly, now looking at her instead of his bag. Both to be polite and to let her know that 'hey, dude in here.' |
for anyone Another year, another trip to the train station without the one person she would have wanted to come with her. The difference this time, as far as Stasya was concerned, was that this time she felt like there wasn’t any hope that her papa would be there later on. If it wasn’t for the knowledge that her mama needed her, and her baby brother would be born by then, she almost felt like it wasn’t worth going home when the holidays came. The disappointment, even worse than her disappointment going into last term, was what had led the almost thirteen-year-old second year blonde toward the back of the train in her search for a compartment to sit in. As usual, she had Dobby on one shoulder, and Albus was curled up in the bag she’d brought with her, but she wasn’t sure if she wanted to listen to all the excited conversations and everything. She just needed to figure things out, and she really wanted to already be at Hogwarts so she could talk to Professor Hirsch about it all. She felt like he’d help. Finding a compartment, she slipped inside and curled up on the seat near the window so she could look outside as her squirrel scampered up onto the luggage rack to get a better viewpoint. Leaving the door open because she didn’t really want to be alone, in case any of her friends wanted to find her. She just didn’t want to talk about it, not til she could talk to the professor. |

They were like...little prisons in a way, you know? Little portable prisons. Passing by an open compartment, Derf paused as the newt did and felt the wind blow through his unkempt blonde hair. Open window? Open door? Huh? The third year looked up and grinned instantly seeing Stasya - although oblivious at present to how unsettled she seemed - and his attention naturally went to the squirrel. "Hiya Dobby," he waved to it as he scooped up Scamander from the floor. He was going to assume the open door was an open invitation, okay? "Hi," he grinned while plopping unceremoniously in the seat right next to the lioness. |
THIRD YEAR That was the year Théo was in now. Look he can do math. Just this year he had to try harder or well his parents would not be too happy. Even his dad was mad about his grades. He passed but i did not feel that way at home. Anyway forget all about that. He was here and ready to start school with all his friends how he did not see much over the summer. What was this almost 14 year old going to do. Well not care who is in the compartment just fling himself onto a open seat. He should be finding Zoryn, Sylvie, Faith, Abey. He thought of mostly girls there. Huh |
for Laura's Corbin Rhea, unsurprisingly, wasn't feeling it today. Not only did she have to say goodbye to her little brother, Fowl, the thought of fifth year and OWLs was already stressing her out - she'd only barely scrapped through her end of year exams last term. Her feelings about fifth year were smothering her, in addition to her "boy troubles", HA, and all before she'd even reached the castle. Having to struggle through her studies for another year wasn't something that appealed to her. Ugh. So after leaving her luggage in the luggage compartment, she made her way down the train looking for empty compartments. It wasn't long before she found one and slipped inside, closing the door behind her. Rhea sat down, brought her knees up to her chest and looked out the window, settling in for the long journey to Hogwarts. |

Nevertheless, Matt burst the compartment door open after only briefly checking to see whether it was empty. It wasn't but at least he knew he wouldn't be freaking any tiny little girl out by doing that. Nope, Theo was there. His brother's roommate. He was alright. "Yo, mate, 'sup?" The Gryffindor greeted the young lion as he entered the compartment without asking if the boy minded. "No idea where Ollie is, sorry." Not that Theo asked, but Matt was good at assuming things. |

Instead, she pushed open the door to a compartment occupied by one person. A girl who Felicity recognised as being in her year, although that was the extent of her knowledge. "Can I join you?" The American drawl was ever present as the fifth year forced herself to smile: she needed to make more friends this year, 'cause there wasn't going to be any Ilvy students to fall back on. |

GOT IT. "Hey!" Huh, he was not was going to ask that. He wonder a little bit. But well now he was actually wondering where Ollie was. Guess he was on the train at this point. But Théo would find him at the feast later anyway. "Oh, i will see him later anyway." No worries or anything. He had to tell Abey and Ollie something anyway that happened that the end of the summer. "You get an sweets yet?" |

Now, apparently Theo was the one to ask the right questions. "Why, of course, young grasshopper!" Matt grinned and immediately emptied his pockets onto the compartment seat next to him. As usual, the first thing he did when he boarded the Hogwarts Express was to find the food trolley and buy as much as he could carry. Nevermind he would also stuff his face during the feast, that wasn't the point! "Help yourself!" 'Cos Matt was generous like THAT. He started off by snapping the head of a gummy worm as he unwrapped a Cauldron Cake. "So. Looking forward to the new term?" Matt asked jokingly with his mouth full. |

With all these "friends", it was rather strange how despite them all, Skylar suddenly felt so alone. And maybe, just maybe, it was her subconscious telling her that she should try to find an empty compartment to be alone in. To quietly read a book or two and will the emptiness she felt inside away. She had no reason to feel empty; not really, anyway. She had best friends and a boyfriend and was smart and pretty. Instead, she heard the familiar American voice of not her boyfriend, but her roommate, in a nearby compartment and Skylar peered in and smiled at sight of Felicity with a fifth year Ravenclaw whom she recognized as Rhea. Did Felicity know about their roommate? She wondered, still, considering the way she had found out about it. "Liss!" She beamed, flinging her arms around the girl. Sure she'd seen the girl at Floreans a few weeks ago, but it was nothing compared to the every day she'd spent with her during the school year. "How was your summer?" And yes, she was joining the compartment. And then she turned to the other girl, "Hey... Rhea, right?" She'd recalled speaking to her a time or two during their time thus far at Hogwarts. |

Except someone was talking. "What?!" Nothing was eating her, what a stupid question. Narrowing her eyes at the boy, Daisy fixed her shirt again. "When did you get here?" Another stupid question given how she hadn't heard the door open again. Still, she was surprised. Wait, did she even know him? He looked younger, though that wasn't surprising given she was a seventh year now. What a depressing thought. Somewhat gathering her thoughts and realising that really, this was her fault and she wasn't being particularly polite, the seventh year gnawed at her lip. "Sorry, I was distracted." Rather apologetically, she extended her hand. "I'm Daisy Carden and usually I don't just barge into occupied compartments." |
Quote:
Not yet, anyway. Not until she'd had time to adjust to it, to talk to Professor Hirsch and see if he could give her any clarity on it. If he could tell her things would be okay, or if they weren't. She honestly didn't know, and maybe that bothered her more than she wanted to admit. She didn't know if she'd be okay. A distraction would have been awfully welcome, yet she wasn't feeling like asking. She barely had even realized anyone had entered the compartment until she heard the voice greeting Dobby. The very familiar voice, and she'd glanced over as Derf plopped down next to her with Scamander. "Hi," she replied, managing a smile for him. And also..."Hi Scamander!" It had been a while since she'd seen either of them, really, so they deserved a happy Stasya. Even if deep down she didn't feel happy at all. "Is Picketta coming back to Hogwarts too" She didn't see the little bowtruckle, but she knew that didn't mean she wasn't around. |

Awesome, now they were in business. Théo was distracted early with just his family and his cousins and finding a compartment he had completely forgotten about the sweets. He really did have to work on his memory. Maybe he did need a journal or something like Julie said. But would he even remember to look or write in it. More Questions. The gryffindor's eyes went wide as he looked at all the stuff Matt had already got. "Dude this is awesome" He took a cauldron cake and started eating it. "Fanks" Oh term. Right well Théo should be excited but right now all he wanted to do was have fun at the feast. "I got my broom with me so i should be able to have fun and all my friends i could not see over the summer because i was at quidditch camp. So yeah this term should be fun!...You?" |
Quote:
The fact Theo said the term should be 'fun' made Matt laugh. "I see that you enjoy your homework!" Loool. Well, he knew Ollie didn't, maybe Theo was the nerdy friend? Or the boy wasn't referring to school work at all and he liked to skip class? Hey, that was an idea. "Ever skipped a lesson before?" Y'know, just wondering. Ahhh, so he played Quidditch during summer. Quidditch camp? "You part of the U-17 team or?" Matt didn't really know much about Quidditch camps and such. What about him? "Eh, I'm alright. I'd rather have a longer summer, but the sooner we start at school the sooner we'll finish, I guess." He shrugged, taking a bite out of the Cauldron Cake and eyeing the Chocolate Frog next. "I AM looking forward to DADA, though, not gonna lie." RAAAHHH!! "Do you duel?" |
Quote:
But no he was not part of the U17 team. He was to young. "No im 13 too young. I do seek for a U14 team. Seeker is my favorite position" Théo also kind of wished summer would be longer. But doubt that would happen. They would probably make school longer. DADA? Interesting. Besides flying it was Théo's favorite class. He sucked at dueling but loved it. "DADA is cool and yeah just alright at it. Not amazing or anything. You good at it or something?" |
