Girls Dormitories Located at the top of a spiral staircase and just to the right are the Gryffindor girls' dormitories. Rooms are assigned according to year, and each door is marked with a wooden plaque. Room assignments are as follows: Text Cut: Dorm assignments Each room is home to several cozy four poster beds with gold sheets and pillows and a bright red velvet covering. There are matching red silk curtains that can be drawn to give the occupants a bit of privacy. Each bed has its own nightstand, and, in keeping with the Gryffindor element of fire, the rooms are lit with magical flames in fireproof, shatterproof jars. Thirsty? A mini fridge stocked with bottles of water sits in one corner of each room. You may even find a midnight snack in there somewhere! Please remember that this is the girls dorm, in other words NO BOYS ALLOWED! But just in case, the staircase is bewitched to turn into a slide should anyone get any ideas. If your name does not appear on the list or you have a problem with your dorm assignment, please contact Professor Marchand (MadMadamMalfoy) |
Candice! Knowing that she and Noelle were not in the same dorm anymore made Ava felt so... Heartbroken. #dramatic. Don't get her wrong, she loved the people in her dorm. But it was not complete without the Gryffindor prefect. They both were inseparable! There were countless nights of them together in their pajamas while gossiping about the school, life, and everything! And now she was concerned if Noelle would be okay without her. How could Professor Marchand do this to them? Probably Ava should protest to their new Head of House about this. "Noelle?" She gently knocked the door, wondering if she was still awake. It's not their bedtime yet and some other students were still around doing their activity. |

At the current moment, she had a potion she was working on, on her bed. It was very compact and she was almost finished with it. Hearing a knock, she threw the curtains around her bed and hid the potion under her pillow. :Yes?" She asked from behind the curtain. |

Ava heard the Gryffindor prefect answered the door. Ah, she was not asleep yet. Perhaps she's waiting for this girl telling a bedtime story, gossip or anything else including just staring at the ceiling together until they fall asleep. "Your favorite Gryffindor is here." Hehehe. |

"Can you believe they didn't room us together???" Noelle asked Ava in a state of bewilderment. "I don't... I mean... why?" It was the most important question. She wasn't happy about it. But, I guess being apart, it makes the heart fonder? Right? That's what the old saying was. |
Quote:
Hugging one of Noelle's pillow, the Gryffindor spoke up. "Do you think that... we should talk to Professor Marchand about this?" First, she wanted to know the reason behind this room arrangement. And then second, she would negotiate if he could... you know, re-arrange it a bit so she and Noelle would be back together. But the problem was, Ava should make up a good excuse for that. |
Quote:
Pulling her wand out, she cast a small barrier charm to keep their conversation hush hush just in case someone wanted to come into the dorm. She pulled out her potion from under her pillow. |
Quote:
Was she going to join dueling club this term? "Yes, I am." Ava might pull of her activity in dueling for last year because she was focusing on OWLs |
Quote:
Dueling club. "Okay phew. Im joining again this year and Im a little nervous. Ive been training with Hirsch the last two years but.. its completely different training in the dueling club." But of course, she hadn't had time and unless she had a time turner, she could only do so many things in one day. This year was different because she was dropping a couple of classes. Stirring her potion and pulling a cloth over it to let it settle, Noelle looked at Ava. "Its a draught of peace potion. I cant seem to function without it lately." It only lasted 12 hours. But luckily, the potion made about 6 vials in one go. |
Quote:
To be honest, she didn't really understand why Noelle had to burden herself with all those intense training like animagus stuffs, dueling... everything. But well, Ava knew her pretty much and those training did make Noelle became... Noelle. So the only thing that she could do was supporting her. "Ah well, you will do fine." There would be a possibility that Profesor Hirsch would pair them up for duel though A draught of peace? Huh? What did it mean that her bestie over here could not be functioning well with taking them? "Why?" Was it because Noah's stuffs or something else? She demanded |
Quote:
Exactly. Ava knew Noelle well. And without the trainings, Noelle wouldn't be the person she was today. She'd probably still be that broken part of herself, or worse. Noelle didn't want to think about it. She had Henric and Hirsch to thank for everything really. And now , Professor Stewart. "Yeah, Ill be trying to beat Char." That was almost impossible because had you seen Char duel?? That was an art work in itself. "It would be funny if we were paired up. Im sure youll give me a run though." Also... speaking of running... "Professor Stewart wants us to exercise and eat right for animagi training, think you would wanna run with my in the mornings?" Noelle batted her eyelashes at Ava in the most innocent of ways possible. Please??? Noelle finished up the potion and vialed it. She shook her head. "No one knows. And I'd like it to be kept that way." Noelle knew Ava wouldn't tell if she asked. "Yeah... Noah, the divorce, my brothers, living situations" Noelle just needed a little bit of a pick me up so to speak. |
Quote:
Okay, she knew about the Noah thing. But her brown eyes widened as Noelle mentioned about the others. Why she had never mentioned about all of these before? Or perhaps Ava had never paid attention because she was too focused with her own life? She didn't say anything but pull her friend/dormie/bestie/wifey/whatever they were to her arms and hugged her tight. |
Quote:
Noelle stored her vialed potions in her drawer, being careful. She waved her wand to clean up her mess when she felt Ava's arms slide around her tight. Merlin. Don't do that. It would make her cry. She tightened her arms around her wifey and hugged her back. "You're going to make me cry." She whispered. That's the whole point of her potion. To not cry. To not let it get to her. For her to remain calm so she could slowly heal and process all the things. But, she did appreciate her wife's hugs. |
Quote:
Yeah, she was being sentimental with the hug. But Noelle needed it, or at least she thought that her friend needed to be hug. The Gryffindor prefect had such a rough life being and she needed someone to be on her side, reminding that sometimes life could be good. "Sometimes it's okay to cry, Noelle. It makes you more human." They're people with emotions, not a robot. |
Quote:
Noelle hugged her for a moment more before pulling away. She smiled at the wifey and gave her a little hand squeeze. "I know. I've done enough crying though. I don't like crying. " She wasn't strong. She was just stubborn. "Anyways..." Noelle took a deep breath and shook off all the sadness. "Lets talk about something better, yeah? How are you and Phillip?" |
Sometimes she forgot how Noelle could be stubborn. Even though crying did not help much with the problem, but Ava thought that at some certain point that there's a relief when she let out the tears. Maybe it was just her. "Do you want me to stay here for the night?" She asked. By the way... This could be a valid reason why Professor Marchand should reunite them together in a same room, right? About her and Phillip... Well. "We are good, surprisingly still together. I hope none of the American girls find him cute and flirt with him." She giggled. Nah, Ava trusted her boyfriend. He would not fall for other girls easily. "We both weren't much happy that the new groundskeeper banish the tree house." It was their sacred place. She told Phillip about her feelings there back when they were still in third years and he returned it with a kiss. Their first kiss was happened there! Ugh. |
There was one thing about Ava that Noelle above all else. She was always there for her. Noelle leaned over and hugged her again. "Yeah. Please? We can have a PJ party. Practice our charms. Tell secrets." Noelle said with a grin to her wifey. Speaking of PJs... "Let me change." Noelle could already feel her potion working. Noelle climbed off the bed to go change into her PJs. "Want some of mine?" Noelle and Ava were almost the same height. Maybe an inch or so difference. "Why is it surprising that you two are still together?" She asked, giving Ava the eye as she finished changing and went back over to the bed. "The Americans girls don't have a chance with Phillip. He's got eyes for you only." Noelle said with a grin. She slipped under the covers. "Yeah, I spent a lot of time in that treehouse but theres like a ton of new things down there now." Like the igloo. Noelle wanted to try that. |
"Okay then." She grinned when Noelle let her to stay at her dorm tonight. "Just like old times." Although by old times meant a few months ago/last term when they were still together in the same dorm. Perhaps Ava should be back for changing her pajamas and grabbed some snacks, but the Gryffindor prefect lent hers to be worn tonight. "Sure!" Hmmmm... Honestly? She was kind of pessimistic that her relationship with Phillip would last longer because of the fight that'd happened last term. Even when Ava had a talk with him and said how she hated when he was mad and blamed that she didn't care about their relationship, she thought that this was going to over. But thankfully Phillip had apologized for being a jerk and wanted to give their relationship another chance. "Hmmm.. I don't know. I thought he wanted to end it because I forgot our anniversary. You know how dramatic he could be." She let a little chuckle. And about the American girls, even though Phillip only had eyes on her but still... Boys will be boys. "But still, I missed the tree house." The igloo was cool, so was the hot spring but it's just different without the tree house down there. Ava let out a yawn. Merlin, how long had she and Noelle talked by the way? |
For Jesse/Mel <3 Olivia was absolutely exhausted. Fortunately she had stopped by the kitchens to grab a hot cup of tea before trudging all the way up several flights of stairs so that she could be home for the day. Today had been long between classes, silliness with boys, and worrying over her fellow schoolmates' safety in the competition so when she got to her dormitory. Frankly, she was ready to just relax. After placing her cup of tea on her bedside table and slipping her bag on the top of her trunk, she removed her boots and tucked them underneath her bed. Then she faced her bad and closed her eyes, letting herself flop onto it. She felt herself sinking further into her bed. Ahhh.. What a day indeed. She grabbed the play next to her bedside table. It'd be a good day to finish reading The Importance of Being Earnest. Well... Now where was she? Ah right the muffin scene where Algernon kept on eating all the muffins. |
Melbourne was a little dusty – well, covered in flour would have been a better fitting descriptor as she was covered in the white powder. Her hair looked gray and every time she moved up the stairs she seemed to leave a plume of flour where she went. Really, if someone weren’t paying attention they could say she looked like a ghost with dandruff. |
Want a muffin? Olivia peeked out from the top of her play to find Melbourne holding out a muffin towards her. Mel had been spending an awful lot of time in there room and in fact had taken the fifth bed. Olivia didn't mind because Mel had always been fun, friendly, and clean to live with. Olivia appreciated that. She laughed a little, sitting up off from her bed. Merlin. Mel couldn't have had better time. "That's amazing! It's like you knew that I had gotten up to the muffin scene. I was right on this line," grinned Olivia as she opened up her play more to show Mel the exact line. Excellent timing. "Sure, I'd love one!" she said with a happy nod. Olivia wasn't one to say no to free food especially when it smelled heavenly. Those muffins were very fresh, straight out of the oven-- she'd wager. "Thanks. This smells delicious," she said as she took the muffin and began unwrapping the paper. "How have you been?" |
