Pips was busy, very busy, because the students would be here soon and the great feast was priority. Pips was a good cook and he wanted to make sure the misses and misters all got their bellies full when they came from that long ride to school. He looked around the cupboards looking for his pan. Where was his special pan. He couldn't cook without that pan. |
Algamus was already working on his potatoes and had it so nicely blended. "Pips!" he called out in his squeaky voice "No time!" No time to look in cupboards. They had studentsies to feed! And Professor sirs and ma'ams! " |
Schmoop was already at the ovens pulling out a tray of cookies. Yes he was! Cookies in the shape of the houses cresties, yes they were! Schmoop looked up when Algamus chirped at Pips... "Schmoop made cookies!" he squeaked. Cookies for the studentsies! |
"No, no Pips need to find his pan. He can't cook without it." HICCUP HICCUP HICCUP No, no this wasn't good. Pips needed to find his pan. Pips would find his pan. Hiccup |
"Pips must!" Algamus squeaked louder "No time!" There was too much food to do! Too much to make. Hiccups? Hiccups wouldn't find the pan. "Get new pan!" he cried out running with his bowl of food to put it in the proper spot. Cookies was good! Studentsies liked cookies, good Schmoop! |
Argyle was working very hard. Much cookings was happening, all around the kitchen. She has made roast beef for the studentsies - she hoped they liked! Snap! Now the plate was in the right spot at tables. "Is this your pan, Pips?" She called loudly, holding a pan out for the young house elf. |
Toddles does what Toddles wants now. The Teenage Elf scurried into the Kitchen late for food prep and looking for anything to do. Toodles hopped up onto a stool and spotted some left over cookie batter that Schmoop had used to make cookies. being the helpful house-elf that Toodles was Toodles reached in to the batter and scooped out two finger licking sized gobs of cookie dough. "Toodles will help taste test." Toddles had decided on his own. |
Busies everyones is busies. Quirly must get busy too. Pips losses his pan always. Quirlys takes care of her spatula. losses its somes of the times. "Toodles no tasteses. Toodles must work like Quirly" Nows what will Quirly do's. |
Pips hiccups got worse as he got more upset about his pan. He searched and searched until he heard someone call out. Turning he looked and squealed a bit. "Oh thank you Argyle. Pips can now cook the good food for the misters and misses." He ran to get his pan and get started on the food. |
Schmoop gave a toothy grin type thing when Toddles stole the glop of dough. Schmoop didn't mind, no he didn't! ...but apparently Quirly did. "Come back later, Toddles. We has cookies then, " Schmoop whispered. Schmoop was sure the others wouldn't hear him over the hiccups and yelling over the pan and such. Mhmmmm. |
Steph and whoever else wants to play! It had been a few months since Rosalyn had spent some time in the kitchen with the house elves, and she had decided that now was a good time to change things. Baking was on her mind, so she had decided that she was going to make her own cookies as opposed to having the little creatures do it for her. First things first she needed to get an apron and gather all the equipment. After that she would need the ingredients. It was a good thing that she knew the recipe for her favourite chocolate chip cookies by heart at this point because otherwise she would be at a complete loss as to what to do. Humming to herself, she tied the apron around her waist. Since her hair was already up in a bun, she didn't need to take care of that. Instead, Rosalyn went about gathering the equipment she would need. |

He smiled at the history of magic teacher. Her name escaping his thoughts now. He bowed his head and said, "Afternoon Professor. Fancy meeting you here of all places." He even saw her getting the supplies. "I am taking you making chocolate chip cookies?" he said observing. "Mind if I join. I was going to make them myself. We could even double the batch?" Good idea right? |
For the elves and anyone else who wants to play! Gaston peered into the kitchen, a large box of fancy French chocolates held behind his back. It was a gift for the house elves to thank them for all their hard work around the school and for helping him with his bistro. He didn't like adding to the little creatures' workload so, but he'd wanted to do something nice for the students and staff and he couldn't bake to save his life! His overwhelming fear of fire saw to that... He stood in the doorway for a moment, just watching the house elves work. They were all so adorable! He wanted to take them all home with him at the end of the term - they could help him with the cooking and he could use their company - but he thought they would probably be happier here at Hogwarts. Gaston glanced around apprehensively as he moved farther into the room; hopefully there wouldn't be any knives flying at him this time! But just in case, the hand that wasn't holding the box of chocolate gripped his wand. He cleared his throat and said, "Hello?" |

Continued from the fruit bowl So Cauldron cakes it was. Trixie followed behind the Head Girl into the kitchen and she couldn't hide her awe as took in the large cavernous room. She had never been in here before and while she wasn't exactly one for the domestics, she could appreciate what this room offered. "So what's it like being Head Girl?" She asked the Slytherin when she had finally finished gawking at everything in sight. "Do you get all sorts of privileges and stuff?" A plate of cookies magically appeared and Trixie automatically picked up one and began to nibble on it while looking at the Head Girl expectantly. |

"Yes, thank you," the charms professor replied - and it had been a good summer, well aside from those awful things his father had said to him and the boggart incident, of course. "I went back to France and spent some time with my friends and family." There was no need to go into any more detail than that, was there? Because somehow he didn't think discussing that other thing he did over the summer would be appropriate. "And how was your summer?" he added quickly, silently berating himself for almost forgetting to ask. Merlin, where were his manners?! |
SPOILER!!: Masters Marchand and Kimi! Argyle was busy, working on the next meal for studentsies and staffs. Cooking cooking cooking! Sometimes studentsies come for snack too. She loves everyone and hopes masters and mistresses are fed well. Her large eyes turned to Master Marchand as he appeared in the doorway. She quickly finished her dish and wiped her long fingers on apron. She scurried to master and saw another studentsie speak with him. "Master Marchand and young Master Kimi," she bowed. "Is there anything Argyle can do for masters?" |

"You want to help me out in gathering the ingredients?" Unfortunately she didn't have the recipe on her, but she DID always carry paper and a pen in her bag. Quickly she jotted everything needed down as well as the steps in baking them. "We can definitely double the batch. The house elves could have some as well." It would be nice to share with them. |

"No, thank you, Argyle," he replied, shaking his head. That was her name, right? He'd hate to call her by the wrong name! "Actually I wanted to do something for you..." He pulled the box of chocolates out from behind his back and lifted the lid. "These are a present for you and all your friends, to thank you for all your hard work around the school - and for helping me with my bistro." He started to hand the box to her but then he realized it was almost as big as she was - the poor thing might have trouble carrying it! - so he set it on the nearest table instead. |

Looking to both girls before turning and heading over to the cabinet she knew was the stash of cookies. "I'm not sure I'd say privileges but we have a nice bathroom we get to use. Mostly it's corridor patrols, helping students, helping the professors, and just leading." Which saying it didn't seem like much work, but on top of everything else could be at times. Though she wouldn't trade it for the world. Taking a spoon out she started scooping the ice cream out and placing it on one of the cookies. Smearing it around before taking a second cookie and smashing it on top. |

Oooh ice cream sandwiches. Trixie nodded her head vigorously, "Yeah that sounds good." She stuffed the rest of her cookie into her mouth while she watched the Head Girl move around the kitchen. It was obvious that the older girl had been inside this place quite a lot. Now that she knew how to get in here, she was probably going to be here quite a lot also. "Oh yeah, I've heard about the Prefect bathroom." Her father and uncle had never been Prefects themselves but somehow they had managed to sneak in there. Trixie was unlikely to ever see it. "So what do you plan on doing after Hogwarts?" She asked as she watched mesmerized, Natalia make the most amazing looking ice cream sandwiches and with a wicked grin on her face, Trixie quickly snatched one up and began munching on it. "S'good." |
anyone <3 Imogen had absolutely adored the helpful little house elves since her first year at Hogwarts. Now, that was quite some time ago and she hadn’t had the time to run down to the kitchens and thank the wonderfully friendly sprites for all of their help. Seriously, she had just been about to make more hot chocolate on her own when suddenly it was refilled by one of the wondrous creatures. ”Hello,” she called out as she stepped through the tapestry doorway. The one thing that she really wanted to do, needed to do, was thank the elves…maybe she could bake them a special house elf cake? Something that said I care, and quite possible please don’t hurt yourself it makes us sad and concerned…because really, those witches and wizards that didn’t feel a pang of guilt, or hear the bark of their conscience when the house elves began to bang their heads into walls or iron their ears…well, they were just horrid. They were the type of people that were soulless creatures. |

She grinned as the girl said that she wanted the ice cream sandwich. Grinning as she took it and started to eat it. "I learned fun things to make from one of my muggle neighbors when I lived in Australia with my mother. These were always my favorite and she seemed to always have them handy when I needed them most." Nat so loved that neighbor until her mother realized where she was going and obliviated the memories of the woman. A sad thought crossed her mind as she pictured the woman not knowing her for the first time. Nat remembered being devastated at such a young age. "The prefect bathroom is something to see. It's a grand tub with the best bubbles." She might have to take a trip there when she was done here. A nice bubble bath sounded really good at the moment. "Maybe one day you'll have a badge and get to see it." Anything was possible. What was she going to do after Hogwarts. This was a question she had heard so many times and she couldn't do anything else but grin, because unlike most she had known what she was going to do since she was 10 years old. "I'm going to sing. I really hoping to get my band a record deal. If you haven't come to anything we've done in the last two terms you should. It's all girls." They'd have another room of requirement gig at some point this term she was sure of it. "What about you, what do you like to do? " |

Maybe young Toddles would want chocolate... but she thinks they should not take chocolate from a professor, no. |
