Boys' Dorms
|
Merlin it'd been a long day. Between the classes he'd skipped, the ones he attended and the full meals--the last of which had left him particularly stuffed--the Fourth Year was pretty much worn. Somewhere in the back of his mind, a voice kept trying to remind him of the Arithmancy and History of Magic homework he needed to have done but even that wasn't enough to stop Blaise from flopping unceremoniously onto his bed and pulling for his pillow. Not nearly as soft and plushie as the ones in the Room of Requirements but that mattered very little right now. It was only after getting comfy that he remembered somewhere along the line his cousin had been walking with him. He might have gone to check that Bentley hadn't simply collapsed on the stairs for the night but honestly....it was a downward motion. Even if he gave up, gravity would finish the job on the way down to the dorm. He had nothing to worry about. |
Look at God. He had made it through the day. He thought the classes would never end. He had a game plan though, take a nap and wake up at midnight to finish up his home work. First though, he had to make it to bed...that was the hardest part. Bentley dragged one foot in front of the other and continued his tedious journey up the fifty bazillion stairs. Stupid Blaise abandoning him...he didn't even know when it happened. He had stopped to relax and bit and when he turned around there was no cousin. His book bag did find his cousin's head when he made it to their dorm however. "Thanks for abandoning me." He said as he flopped forward unto his bed. |
Sweet Circe, he'd found his cousin. Thank Merlin he was alive and Auntie Rhea wouldn't go lecturing him on losing her eldest. Height of good neighbourliness right here. Truly being his brother's keeper. Blaise lazily turned to flop on his stomach....just in time to have a heavy book bag collide with him. The boy groaned, much too tired to give proper response but finally he did pull himself into a more upright position. "You should be thanking me. If we'd walked together I'd have been tempted to hitch a ride down those stairs and who knows? We could have come tumbling right down." Just think how painful it sounded. "You didn't wanna have to make a trip to the Healer's tonight, did you?" Because he didn't. Those beds were NOT comfy, not like his own four poster that he was currently enjoying. "How did you manage to fall so far behind anyway?" As in, Bentley had been RIGHT BEHIND HIM when he'd last checked. |
Pop! Quirly is cleaning masteres and Mistreses rooms today. Quirly sweeps. Sweep. Sweep Sweep. Quirly makes the beds, and straightens up the rooms. Quirly also leaves cookies for all masteres and Mistresses in their rooms. "Masters Bellaire, Masters Moore, Quirly leave you cookies to haves as snack." Quirly bows to the masteres, and quirly's spatula falls out of her pillowcase clothes and on the floor. Opppies. |

"Mmmyeah whatever lame excuse you just said." Bentley said sleepily. He was about to close his eyes when he heard another voice. The fourth year rolled over unto his back and looked at the source of the voice. "Quirly I don't eat cookies. You should bring fruits next time." He said rolling over unto his stomach again. |
If he still had it in him, Blaise would have grabbed a pillow and HURLED it at his cousin for obviously not listening but right now his arms didn't wanna move; no part of him wanted to move. The most he could do was tip his head up at the appearance of house elf. Brown eyes fell on the cookies that were being offered. He was more than likely going to leave them for Justin and Reuben since he and his cousin were both so obviously stuffed. Just the thought of more food was making his stomach churn in weird ways. Blaise groaned. "What my ill-mannered cousin means is 'thank you', Quirly. We'll put the cookies to good use." His attention shifted to the spatula on the ground but damned if he'd be pulling himself off his bed to pick it up for her. "Be sure you wash that before using it again." Helpful, he was helpful. |
