Evelyn was clingy, but eventually he managed to get lose and nudge Skylar toward the train as well, waving and shouting over his shoulder his final words. "Sis?" Where'd she gone? She'd just been there. "Nevermind." Dropping his stuff off in the luggage car, Noah headed down the train corridor in search of Noelle, turtles (in their plastic carrier) in hand. Grey eyes peeked into each passing compartment on the way, searching for his girlfriend and possibly his sister if he saw her on the way. Nope, not that one... nope.... definitely not... "There y'are." The rising fourth year grinned widely, entering the compartment and setting aside his bag and the turtles in favor of kissing her on the cheek and plopping beside her, only then noticing the ickle in the room. "Oh, hey there. How are ya?" |
SPOILER!!: Ayyyyy you guys The other girl got the stink eye, but she would get to her in a moment. Rummaging was happening right now. Dora finally found one sad looking tissue at the bottom of her bag and passed it over to Lanecelot. Lance. She liked Lance better. "I promise it's clean. " She hoped so anyway. And Gryffindor she may be, but she wasn't one to pry, okay? With a nod at Lance she quickly turned her attention back to the other girl. "He's not a kid, you know. That's a bit condescending." Just in case she didn't know. HAIR FLIP! But Dora smiled nonetheless. She wasn't being RUDE, just correcting. |

It was weird. Fact. Wouldn't it make more sense just to have assigned portkeys to everyone at a certain time? It did to him. But clearly not to any officials at Hogwarts. Slipping past a group of people in the corridor Takeru glanced into yet another compartment. It was full. Again. At this he was beginning to consider taking a seat in the hall. It wasn't like he would take up that much space, plus the only item he had on him was his ukulele. After brushing his hair out of his eyes (and being very careful not to touch the large bruise on the left side of his face) the third year took a few steps forward glanced into one last compartment. Not full? And huh...he knew one of those guys. Not bothering to knock he pushed the door open he walked in and sat down on the couch. "Hello." |
Feel free to snag? Azura had hoped it might have been a little less crowded in the back of the train, all the forward compartments seemed rather full, and so she had moved forwards the back in hope that her search for an empty, (hey she would even take a mostly empty ) cabin might be found. But so far, no luck. The crush of people back here was almost worst then the front! She sighed softly as she struggled through a group of her classmates (saying excuses me politely of course) Her hair rather disheveled as she managed to make it though the crush of people.. She leaned on a wall for a moment, gently patting down her hair as she looked around and ohh! Hey was that? It was! An empty compartment! She hurried towards it and slid the door open before, putting her stuff down and looking around with a smile.. Yeah this would do.. |

Small steps, though, because many small steps lead to a big step. Didn't they? That's what Pam always told him anyways. But besides that, he felt he'd progressed enough during the summer. He did, after all, throw away his beloved best friend and teddy bear, Ted. It was time. His mother was right as much as he despised her for it. Thirteen was old, and most people didn't have teddy bears at such ages, but again Ethan never felt like most people. He knew himself to always be different and at times it bothered him but at times he couldn't wish for anything else. Today, he felt the former. He felt somewhat secluded by his differentiation and, as a result, he did want to try and fit in so that he could laugh and socialise with the others. Yet, the platform had been enough for now. He needed some space, even if it was just for one hour. Small steps, he just needed to keep encouraging himself. Venturing to the back of the train, he began hunting for an empty apartment. This was always the most difficult thing in a train of hundreds of students, but there had to be one. It was still early, wasn't it? Surely most kids hadn't boarded yet? Nope, not that one-not that one---wait was that Azura? The third year took a step back and looked inside the practically empty compartment. What was he to do? Risk losing his space to greet her, or was he to pretend he had not seen her? Although, it was the more challenging choice he chose to do what he felt would be socially correct. He entered the compartment and anxiously smiled. "Hi-Az-Azura." his voice was quiet but audible. |
Andrei had walked and walked down the train, he was always like this on public transport, could never decide where to sit. He was glad to be free of the weight of his trunk and free of panic after just making it in time. He darted into a free compartment, this was it! first year at Hogwarts! The view out of the window was a fairly empty platform, not many people were getting on this far down at all, he looked down at his wand and his thoughts were filled with what the wand maker had told him about its characteristics, how the wand was very suited to defensive charms and spells. Every now and then a student would walk past causing him to look up half expectantly, half nervously .... social skills were difficult. |

"Hey Brady," she called out to the younger Hufflepuff. "Everywhere down this way full as well?" She eyed the back wall of the car and tried her best to gauge the distance between it and the nearest compartment door. "Hmmm..." When life gave you lemons, right? |

This girl was GOOD at giving orders. She had Cornelius running about after the ferret and then attempting to corner it. WOW WOW. Definitely should be careful around this one. She was a like a commander, ready with the next move. Ready to strike! Cornelius was actually having fun. When the ferret was successfully cornered and captured, he absently ran his fingers through his curls. "What a rush that one gave me." Because chasing was always entertaining, apparently. "No problem, it's lucky I'm always on the lookout." Or so he says. "Nice to meet you, Hats. I'm Cornelius." Grin. |
SPOILER!!: Danielle squared "Oi watch it!" Bentley groaned and pulled himself up on the chair just a bit. He knew what his mother would say if she saw how he was slouching. Bentley sit properly you'll end up with a bad back and bad posture...and she'd go on and on. As soon as Blaise sat down he threw his feet up on his cousin's lap. He was going to keep his feet up and there was nothing Blaise could do about it. "You're terrible and I'm ashamed to be related to you." Whatever it was that was causing Blaise's resentment towards magic, didn't seem to be going away any time soon. "Eh, unless she's like Heath who's only friends are house-elves." He sighed deeply. His brother was such an odd boy sometimes. Bentley looked up when their compartment door opened. He expected to see Phillip but was instead greeted by a stranger. He looked from the boy to Blaise then back to the boy again. "Errrm..intruder alert?" His face didn't even look remotely familiar to him, not that he knew everyone at Hogwarts mind you, even if he spent majority of his time taking candid of randoms around the school. |

Asher squirmed, trying to get free of Hadley's grip and back to his perch on her shoulder. "Nope, not until I get your leash on you." As entertaining as chasing him might be, she had no interest in doing it the whole train ride. Plus the risk of injury or worse to Asher running around like that. "He's usually better behaved than this." She nodded along. It was a good thing he reacted as quickly as he did. Wait did he just call her...? Hads laughed. "Oh, no. Hads. Not Hats. It's short for Hadley." She grinned. "Nice to meet you, Cornelius. I'd give you a high five, but..." She held up Asher showing her hands were full. |

So thinking, he walked into a compartment at random and collapsed onto a seat before realising he wasn't alone. "Oh, hi," he smiled at the boy opposite him. "I'm sorry, I didn't realise someone was in here, I'm Harvey Jarvis, I'm just starting out," he extended a hand and speaking too quickly, as was usual when his stomach was tight with knots. He felt nervous. He hoped the boy hadn't wanted to be alone. He didn't particularly want to search the train for another seat. |

Smiling at him, she was about to say more to him when someone else entered the compartment. Her boyfriend, Noah... Aka NoahBear. Her smile broadened heftily and she stood and blushes when he kissed her on the cheek. She always got those tingly butterflies in her stomach when he was around. "About time you got here. I was going to send my new friend, Kimi, out to get you if I didn't see you soon." Noelle said to Noah. She was playing of course. But that was a good way to introduce him. "Kimi, this is Noah Diggory. My best friend and boyfriend." Okay, this was cool... Introducing her boyfriend. |
Grab him if you want Phillipe sighed as he walked onto the train. He didn't want to be here this year really, and he was grouchy that his mother had forced him to... She basically had to shove him onto the train because he'd fought as much as he could. The fifteen year old sighed and went on a search for an open compartment. He glanced at a few of the other students, thinking maybe this year he should try to be social... He hadn't had to his first four years... He'd had Sara, his best friend, and his girlfriend for nearly three years now. Now she had to stay home for her own personal reasons, and he would be alone this year... He sighed, his anger with his mother fading into sadness thinking about her... He really didn't know what he was going to do this year without her. |

Andrei had just started to zone out when a boy who looked his age appeared infront of him, apparently at first unaware that he was there " Hi Harvey" he said with a slight smile, "I'm Andrei.... a first year too" The boy was the first fellow firstie that Andrei had met. He returned Harveys handshake and leant back into his chair, "Looking forward to school?" This was fairly good small talk by Andrei's standards. |
SPOILER!!: You twooo Feet on his lap. Was that the price he'd have to pay to keep this entire seat to himself? Given all other options, this didn't seem like the worst and the Gryffindor couldn't be bothered with getting into a feet throwing bout with his cousin. Blaise shrugged, not particularly put off by Bentley's chiding. "Can't be that terrible and you can't be that ashamed if we're still thick as thieves, mate. Clearly you like the bad company." But um....what was that about Julie....uhhh...."No." Just no. "Heath has always been very....special. We know this, but Julie will bust into compartments with perfect strangers and decide they're all friends. I think she'll be fine without me for a few hours." Facing the door the way he was, he saw the moment the compartment door swung open. Make no mistake, he was all set to tell anyone not named Phillip Romalotti to shove off but the face caught his interesting. He knew him. A quick look at the boy's face and he could already tell how wonderfully the school year was going for him. "I see you're already making friends." He said, gesturing to the bruise that hadn't been there when he'd last seen him. "Bentley, Tak, Tak, Bentley." His work here was done. |

She hummed a few notes, before taking a breath and writing them on the music staff.. She needed to compose a few more pieces so she could use them for her auditions for Julliard and Wada.. The purple eyed girl was in the middle of softly humming to herself when she heard a quiet voice call out her name and her head instantly lifted.. "Ethan!" She said with a warm smile as she looked up at the shy boy in front of her.. Though.. it was more than that.. Anxiety.. Which she had become rather familiar with lately.. "Hey.. did you want to sit down?" She asked him, wondering how much he wanted to talk or not.. or if he needed a break? She could read? And be quiet.. Would that help? |

"It's nice to meet you." It had been a bit daunting seeing so many older students around. They all seemed so... sure. It was reassuring to meet someone who was in the same boat as he was. "Yeah, I am," Harvey said, then paused. "Though I'm a bit worried, too. I have three sisters who went before me so I've heard a lot about it, and it just feels a bit scary to actually be going there, you know? How about you, looking forward to it?" Pause. "Do you have any siblings?" |
SPOILER!!: 2/3 of the wolf pack Intruder? Was that what he was considered now? Shifting the ukulele into his lap Tak leaned back into the chair and focused his gaze onto the boy he didn't know. Brown hair and green eyes- he was probably the type that girls went after. Would that make him a jerk? Was that why he called him out like that? His eyes never wavered until Blaise spoke up. "Yeah. Loads of friends." The sarcasm oozed from his lips but not in a venomous way. He wasn't attacking Blaise. Just confirming the unfortunate circumstances he had been thrown into. Was he suppose to say hello again? Because he already had. The thirteen year olds eyes shifted once more from Blaise to Bentley. "I can leave if you want." |
I'm so sorry for her >. < Quote:

SPOILER!!: you two Bentley chuckled. Blaise definitely had a point. There was not one single person he'd rather hang out with than him and Phillip. At one point he thought that, he'd feel that way about Casper but well....Casper made his choice and Bentley made his. Anyways..he didn't want to think about that..not anymore. "You're right. I do like bad company...moth to a flame." The Gryffindor shrugged. "She's your sister, you should know." Oh? So Blaise knew the unfamiliar guy who made himself comfortable in their compartment. He supposed that would explain why he was bold enough to sit. And what was he looking at? Bentley squinted at him. "Seriously? If you're going to be this high strung you're going to have a hard time at school." Just saying. He stretched lazily. "Besides, if I wanted you to leave, a simple get out would have sufficed." |

The teenager yawned and looked around and in some of the compartments. He hadn't thought that he had showed up late. So what if he had talked to a few people along his way back here, it didn't take up that much time. But let's get real what time are all of these students really getting up and showing up on the train? Day one and day two are when the students get up early with no problems but then the rest of the year was totally done for people like him that hated the early morning hours. |

This was an intriguing little scene, one Cornelius could relate to. He watched the ferret struggle to get free again. "Maybe he doesn't like the crowd?" That usually did Mustard in and made the lizard uneasy. All crowds except Slytherin crowds. It's like the lizard knew. Oh. OOPS. The boy laughed sheepishly. "Sorry about that, Hads. Hadley." There. Nailed it this time. "Pleasure to meet you. There's an empty compartment there for it you want to let your ferret free." He pointed at the compartment he had spotted student-free. |
SPOILER!!: you two :3 That tissue was going to do next to nothing, but he gratefully took it anyway. Could always count on a girl's bag or purse for something in need, right? "Thank you," he mumbled, wiping his nose as he looked at the girl across from him. It was so so true, she didn't know anything about him! Gunna fix that. He stuck out his hand, sniffling softly. "Lancelot McWitty. Fifth year." Ignore the few shiny snot trails on his arm, yea? |
