Back Cars The back of the train is the last to leave the station, and the last to kiss London goodbye. Those who linger here might be sad to see the summer end, or maybe they're just not eager for summer away from home. It's a raucous area, though, full of fun and frivolity, and the detritus that collects in the wake of all these students. |
Back to school. Noah and Noelle had planned to meet near the back of the train in one of the compartments. But first, Noelle had to say goodbye to her family. She gave them long hugs and kisses to the forehead to her brothers and sister. Unfortunately, her oldest brother (who was 12) got the dad genes instead of mum genes and won't be coming to Hogwarts. He got extra love. With a final wave, she got on the train. Noelle looked around. She was one of the first people on. Heading to the back, she slid into an empty compartment. She toyed with her necklace and bracelet, waiting on her boyfriend and her friends..... Or just anyone to talk to really. BECAUSE IT WAS TIME TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL. Her home. |

Maybe looking out the window would help. Noelle had just turned her head to watch the platform when a voice came to her right. She looked at the boy and took in his icklness. He was adorable. Had she been that cute when she was a first year? Merlin! Noelle was a fourth year now and experienced. These train rides that had once been so scary, were nothing now. "Of course, come on in." Noelle have him a welcoming smile. She remembered her first train ride and it being terrifying. She wanted to make it easy for him. |

"Well there's no need to be scared with me unless you're in the dueling ring with me." Noelle teased. She wasn't even scary in the dueling pin. "Im Noelle Grace Summers. Nice to meet you Kimi." When she had first started Hogwarts, she had introduced herself and then shook hands, but now she was a fourth year, and that was just too formal. |

"im a fourth year no" Noelle lifted her chin proudly. She was halfway... A little more than halfway finished with Hogwarts. It was astounding. "First year is great though. You'll make a lot of friends. Most of my friends, I met in first year. We have just.... Been growing up together." Noelle told him with a smile. She took a moment to reminisce how she met everyone. Her favorite was Noah. She'd pulled him into an adventure the first moment they had met. In fact, most of her friends she had met in Diagon Alley. "Are you excited though?" |

Calley/Hadley Why is it that the back car is always so stuffy with students? It wasn't as if they were in class yet and everyone was trying to keep out of professors' line of vision. Unless there were professors at the front of the train and he hadn't seen them. Cornelius turned to the side, green eyes darting from right to left and left to right. There was no adult present. So. Maybe it was one of those trends. Like, HEY! Everyone the back cars are cool! And everyone follows. Whatever the case was, there were firsties shoving their way through and Cornelius had to resist his Quidditch skills from making an appearance and BOUNCING those little piece of dragon dung to the other side of the train. So. The curly-head remained calm and shoved his way through. He was leaving the back and making his own trend. |
Bad Boys sit in the back Belle made it harder and harder to leave each year. This year she turned on the water works full force and wouldn't let go of his leg, until his mother pried her off him. Speaking of, his mother was getting so much better at seeing him off. There were no tears this year, even though he was boarding the train with his face completely covered in lipstick stains. First order of the day was ensuring that Heath got all his stuff packed away and that he was seated and okay, then he left his brother to hold a compartment for Phillip and Blaise. And Bentley found the perfect one at the back. Hoozah! |
Quote:
Asher continued to protest loudly as she peered into the next compartment. It wasn't them either. "Maybe we were supposed to meet in the middle cars?" She directed her question at the ferret, but in reality was just talking out loud. Asher began to pace back and forth across her shoulders. What was up with him today anyway? He was usually not so skiddish. It was like he had woken up in a bad mood and was done with people. It just wasn't like him at all. They weren't in the next three compartments either. Asher, fed up, leaped down off Hadley's shoulder and took off down the hallway. If Hadley wasn't going to hurry up, he was gonna make him. "Carp!" Just what she needed. Hadley rushed down the hall after him, weaving her way through the people. "You!" She called to the curly haired boy. "Stop that ferret!" |
Her legs were shaking. This was becoming usual, considering she spent her last two rides towards the train station were without company. Mother had a meeting somewhere to seal a deal, and her father, nowhere to be seen lately except through letters. Shaking it off, this thought, Stephie dragged her luggage around and placed it on the respective compartment, then headed to a place she hoped to find a good seat by a window, or maybe just good access to the food trolley. |
Head hanging low and puffy red-rimmed eyes cast downward, Lancelot dragged his carry on luggage towards the back of the train after giving the proper farewell to his grandparents. Just his grandparents this time. The missing figure on the platform that he wanted to see was hitting him harder than he ever thought it could. Especially since he had a good few weeks to let all this sink in. Opening the next compartment he came across, he dragged his luggage into the middle of the compartment before promptly flopping on the empty seat face down. No doubt wouldn't move from this spot until they got to school... or unless someone else came in. Though it was becoming increasingly difficult to try and close the compartment door with his foot. |
Quote:
For his part, he made sure she wasn't sitting with jerks and idiots but then he was off to find Bentley. He would sulk in his compartment the whole way if he could. Nothing new. Already understanding the pattern, the now Fourth Year didn't bother checking compartments. He already knew where his cousin would be; the back of the train. That's where Phillip would meet them, that's where he would imagine all the horrible things that would go wrong this year. "Is it just me or do those First Years get smaller each year?" He quipped, slipping into the compartment and closing the door behind him. Which seat would be lay claim to? Hmm. |
Quote:
Nothing made him stomp his feet like the feeling of something rushing over them. Cornelius wasn't squeamish, he was the opposite, really. But when he wasn't expecting it his body reacted on his own. That was until someone yelled into his direction. "Meee?!" Him, right? Why him? Quickly, he cast his gaze down and managed to catch sight of a wisp of grey-fluff-something. Being extremely familiar with runaway pet, Cornelius set off and ran after the grey thing without question. "Come back! I have treats!" What if the thing bit him? The boy withdrew his wand just in case and RAN after the thing. |
Quote:
"I'm pretty sure it's not just you. They look like Belle's age." So maybe that was a bit of a hyperbole but it was necessary. Speaking of siblings, where was his little cousin? "Where's Julie? I don't suppose your parents would approve of you ditching her on her first train ride." He raised an eyebrow at his cousin. |
Quote:
"They wouldn't approve of my dislike of magic either but here I sit, resentful and unremorseful." He retorted, giving a lazy wave of his hand to settle his quill. They were in this compartment alone, there was nothing that needed recording. "When she starts acting like a decent human being, I might go find her and sit with her but she's probably already made so many eager little friends that I don't think I'd last more than a minute in there with 'em." So he'd just have to find her at the feast--unless she got put into another house then he supposed he'd have to go find her after. Merlin's beard this was a lot of work. |
snatched you!!! <3 Quote:
Only having her bag with her she opened the door and went to the open seat and it was right next to the window, seems like her luck was changing. She gave a nod to the boy that was sitting in the compartment, she didnt know him but might as well give some sort of greeting. |
Anyone want a Brady? He was a third year already. Hmm. He was also a teenager now. He wasn't sure if being a teenager was a good thing or a bad thing yet. Well maybe a bad thing so far. He had, had his first kiss the day before his birthday this year and that was a horrible day and a horrible event in his life. He wished he could just do it over with someone else, someone that wasn't just messing with him. |
Quote:
Except he had done this once before. Sigh. She was gonna have to retrain her ferret. Hadley chased after both Cornelius and Asher, all the way to the end of the car. She smiled as she saw what awaited them. A closed car door. Asher had cornered himself. The ferret reached the end and paused, running back and forth from one end of the door to the other looking for an opening. "Corner him!" But that wasn't really necessary. Hads caught up to both of them a second later and scooped the ferret up, holding him securely by the scruff of his neck. "You little troublemaker." She wasn't letting go of him until they were securely in a compartment. "Thanks for the assist," she said, turning to the boy. It wasn't everyone that would help chase down a ferret. "I'm Hads and this is Asher." She'd give him a high five, but she had her hands full at the moment. |

Even worse, he had no clue who the girl was. Still, he attempted half a smile and nodded back, softly clearing his throat. |
*crashing* Rose and Robyn, I LOVE YOU! SPOILER!!: yous guys Okay. There was NO TIME to find Sam. Or Maia. Or anyone else. She needed to SIT. Pronto. Exhaustion was sapping the life from her limbs as she moved through the train corridor. U G H. Maybe there was something boys were better at. Dragging trunks. Ha. She would make note to find a boy to carry all of her things immediately. And what LUCK was it that the compartment she muscled her way into held a boy. And a girl. SWEET!! "Hey guys! I'm sitting here. Lancelot? Gryffindor? I don't know you, though, " she said as she moved her eyes to the female. She was cute. Hehe. Dora commenced to plopping beside the boy... and noticed the sniffling and snot and such. "What happened to you? Do I need to punch someone? " GryffinDORA at yo service. |

yesss more the merrier :3 SPOILER!!: Dora and Echo ^^ You know what would've been nice? Tissues. Wiping snot on his arm was making it feel weird. Though before he could raid his luggage, even though he was pretty sure he didn't have any, his body slumped against the wall in defeat as another girl entered the compartment. Yet thankfully he knew her, sorta. "Hi Dora," he mumbled, sounding clogged up. Lance shook his head, sniffling again. Didn't want to talk about it. Or punch anyone. "Do either of you have tissues?" |

Evelyn was clingy, but eventually he managed to get lose and nudge Skylar toward the train as well, waving and shouting over his shoulder his final words. "Sis?" Where'd she gone? She'd just been there. "Nevermind." Dropping his stuff off in the luggage car, Noah headed down the train corridor in search of Noelle, turtles (in their plastic carrier) in hand. Grey eyes peeked into each passing compartment on the way, searching for his girlfriend and possibly his sister if he saw her on the way. Nope, not that one... nope.... definitely not... "There y'are." The rising fourth year grinned widely, entering the compartment and setting aside his bag and the turtles in favor of kissing her on the cheek and plopping beside her, only then noticing the ickle in the room. "Oh, hey there. How are ya?" |
SPOILER!!: Ayyyyy you guys The other girl got the stink eye, but she would get to her in a moment. Rummaging was happening right now. Dora finally found one sad looking tissue at the bottom of her bag and passed it over to Lanecelot. Lance. She liked Lance better. "I promise it's clean. " She hoped so anyway. And Gryffindor she may be, but she wasn't one to pry, okay? With a nod at Lance she quickly turned her attention back to the other girl. "He's not a kid, you know. That's a bit condescending." Just in case she didn't know. HAIR FLIP! But Dora smiled nonetheless. She wasn't being RUDE, just correcting. |

It was weird. Fact. Wouldn't it make more sense just to have assigned portkeys to everyone at a certain time? It did to him. But clearly not to any officials at Hogwarts. Slipping past a group of people in the corridor Takeru glanced into yet another compartment. It was full. Again. At this he was beginning to consider taking a seat in the hall. It wasn't like he would take up that much space, plus the only item he had on him was his ukulele. After brushing his hair out of his eyes (and being very careful not to touch the large bruise on the left side of his face) the third year took a few steps forward glanced into one last compartment. Not full? And huh...he knew one of those guys. Not bothering to knock he pushed the door open he walked in and sat down on the couch. "Hello." |
Feel free to snag? Azura had hoped it might have been a little less crowded in the back of the train, all the forward compartments seemed rather full, and so she had moved forwards the back in hope that her search for an empty, (hey she would even take a mostly empty ) cabin might be found. But so far, no luck. The crush of people back here was almost worst then the front! She sighed softly as she struggled through a group of her classmates (saying excuses me politely of course) Her hair rather disheveled as she managed to make it though the crush of people.. She leaned on a wall for a moment, gently patting down her hair as she looked around and ohh! Hey was that? It was! An empty compartment! She hurried towards it and slid the door open before, putting her stuff down and looking around with a smile.. Yeah this would do.. |

Small steps, though, because many small steps lead to a big step. Didn't they? That's what Pam always told him anyways. But besides that, he felt he'd progressed enough during the summer. He did, after all, throw away his beloved best friend and teddy bear, Ted. It was time. His mother was right as much as he despised her for it. Thirteen was old, and most people didn't have teddy bears at such ages, but again Ethan never felt like most people. He knew himself to always be different and at times it bothered him but at times he couldn't wish for anything else. Today, he felt the former. He felt somewhat secluded by his differentiation and, as a result, he did want to try and fit in so that he could laugh and socialise with the others. Yet, the platform had been enough for now. He needed some space, even if it was just for one hour. Small steps, he just needed to keep encouraging himself. Venturing to the back of the train, he began hunting for an empty apartment. This was always the most difficult thing in a train of hundreds of students, but there had to be one. It was still early, wasn't it? Surely most kids hadn't boarded yet? Nope, not that one-not that one---wait was that Azura? The third year took a step back and looked inside the practically empty compartment. What was he to do? Risk losing his space to greet her, or was he to pretend he had not seen her? Although, it was the more challenging choice he chose to do what he felt would be socially correct. He entered the compartment and anxiously smiled. "Hi-Az-Azura." his voice was quiet but audible. |
Andrei had walked and walked down the train, he was always like this on public transport, could never decide where to sit. He was glad to be free of the weight of his trunk and free of panic after just making it in time. He darted into a free compartment, this was it! first year at Hogwarts! The view out of the window was a fairly empty platform, not many people were getting on this far down at all, he looked down at his wand and his thoughts were filled with what the wand maker had told him about its characteristics, how the wand was very suited to defensive charms and spells. Every now and then a student would walk past causing him to look up half expectantly, half nervously .... social skills were difficult. |

"Hey Brady," she called out to the younger Hufflepuff. "Everywhere down this way full as well?" She eyed the back wall of the car and tried her best to gauge the distance between it and the nearest compartment door. "Hmmm..." When life gave you lemons, right? |

This girl was GOOD at giving orders. She had Cornelius running about after the ferret and then attempting to corner it. WOW WOW. Definitely should be careful around this one. She was a like a commander, ready with the next move. Ready to strike! Cornelius was actually having fun. When the ferret was successfully cornered and captured, he absently ran his fingers through his curls. "What a rush that one gave me." Because chasing was always entertaining, apparently. "No problem, it's lucky I'm always on the lookout." Or so he says. "Nice to meet you, Hats. I'm Cornelius." Grin. |
SPOILER!!: Danielle squared "Oi watch it!" Bentley groaned and pulled himself up on the chair just a bit. He knew what his mother would say if she saw how he was slouching. Bentley sit properly you'll end up with a bad back and bad posture...and she'd go on and on. As soon as Blaise sat down he threw his feet up on his cousin's lap. He was going to keep his feet up and there was nothing Blaise could do about it. "You're terrible and I'm ashamed to be related to you." Whatever it was that was causing Blaise's resentment towards magic, didn't seem to be going away any time soon. "Eh, unless she's like Heath who's only friends are house-elves." He sighed deeply. His brother was such an odd boy sometimes. Bentley looked up when their compartment door opened. He expected to see Phillip but was instead greeted by a stranger. He looked from the boy to Blaise then back to the boy again. "Errrm..intruder alert?" His face didn't even look remotely familiar to him, not that he knew everyone at Hogwarts mind you, even if he spent majority of his time taking candid of randoms around the school. |
Quote:
Asher squirmed, trying to get free of Hadley's grip and back to his perch on her shoulder. "Nope, not until I get your leash on you." As entertaining as chasing him might be, she had no interest in doing it the whole train ride. Plus the risk of injury or worse to Asher running around like that. "He's usually better behaved than this." She nodded along. It was a good thing he reacted as quickly as he did. Wait did he just call her...? Hads laughed. "Oh, no. Hads. Not Hats. It's short for Hadley." She grinned. "Nice to meet you, Cornelius. I'd give you a high five, but..." She held up Asher showing her hands were full. |
Quote:
So thinking, he walked into a compartment at random and collapsed onto a seat before realising he wasn't alone. "Oh, hi," he smiled at the boy opposite him. "I'm sorry, I didn't realise someone was in here, I'm Harvey Jarvis, I'm just starting out," he extended a hand and speaking too quickly, as was usual when his stomach was tight with knots. He felt nervous. He hoped the boy hadn't wanted to be alone. He didn't particularly want to search the train for another seat. |
Quote:
Quote:
Smiling at him, she was about to say more to him when someone else entered the compartment. Her boyfriend, Noah... Aka NoahBear. Her smile broadened heftily and she stood and blushes when he kissed her on the cheek. She always got those tingly butterflies in her stomach when he was around. "About time you got here. I was going to send my new friend, Kimi, out to get you if I didn't see you soon." Noelle said to Noah. She was playing of course. But that was a good way to introduce him. "Kimi, this is Noah Diggory. My best friend and boyfriend." Okay, this was cool... Introducing her boyfriend. |
Grab him if you want Phillipe sighed as he walked onto the train. He didn't want to be here this year really, and he was grouchy that his mother had forced him to... She basically had to shove him onto the train because he'd fought as much as he could. The fifteen year old sighed and went on a search for an open compartment. He glanced at a few of the other students, thinking maybe this year he should try to be social... He hadn't had to his first four years... He'd had Sara, his best friend, and his girlfriend for nearly three years now. Now she had to stay home for her own personal reasons, and he would be alone this year... He sighed, his anger with his mother fading into sadness thinking about her... He really didn't know what he was going to do this year without her. |
Quote:
Andrei had just started to zone out when a boy who looked his age appeared infront of him, apparently at first unaware that he was there " Hi Harvey" he said with a slight smile, "I'm Andrei.... a first year too" The boy was the first fellow firstie that Andrei had met. He returned Harveys handshake and leant back into his chair, "Looking forward to school?" This was fairly good small talk by Andrei's standards. |
SPOILER!!: You twooo Feet on his lap. Was that the price he'd have to pay to keep this entire seat to himself? Given all other options, this didn't seem like the worst and the Gryffindor couldn't be bothered with getting into a feet throwing bout with his cousin. Blaise shrugged, not particularly put off by Bentley's chiding. "Can't be that terrible and you can't be that ashamed if we're still thick as thieves, mate. Clearly you like the bad company." But um....what was that about Julie....uhhh...."No." Just no. "Heath has always been very....special. We know this, but Julie will bust into compartments with perfect strangers and decide they're all friends. I think she'll be fine without me for a few hours." Facing the door the way he was, he saw the moment the compartment door swung open. Make no mistake, he was all set to tell anyone not named Phillip Romalotti to shove off but the face caught his interesting. He knew him. A quick look at the boy's face and he could already tell how wonderfully the school year was going for him. "I see you're already making friends." He said, gesturing to the bruise that hadn't been there when he'd last seen him. "Bentley, Tak, Tak, Bentley." His work here was done. |
Quote:
She hummed a few notes, before taking a breath and writing them on the music staff.. She needed to compose a few more pieces so she could use them for her auditions for Julliard and Wada.. The purple eyed girl was in the middle of softly humming to herself when she heard a quiet voice call out her name and her head instantly lifted.. "Ethan!" She said with a warm smile as she looked up at the shy boy in front of her.. Though.. it was more than that.. Anxiety.. Which she had become rather familiar with lately.. "Hey.. did you want to sit down?" She asked him, wondering how much he wanted to talk or not.. or if he needed a break? She could read? And be quiet.. Would that help? |
Quote:
"It's nice to meet you." It had been a bit daunting seeing so many older students around. They all seemed so... sure. It was reassuring to meet someone who was in the same boat as he was. "Yeah, I am," Harvey said, then paused. "Though I'm a bit worried, too. I have three sisters who went before me so I've heard a lot about it, and it just feels a bit scary to actually be going there, you know? How about you, looking forward to it?" Pause. "Do you have any siblings?" |
SPOILER!!: 2/3 of the wolf pack Intruder? Was that what he was considered now? Shifting the ukulele into his lap Tak leaned back into the chair and focused his gaze onto the boy he didn't know. Brown hair and green eyes- he was probably the type that girls went after. Would that make him a jerk? Was that why he called him out like that? His eyes never wavered until Blaise spoke up. "Yeah. Loads of friends." The sarcasm oozed from his lips but not in a venomous way. He wasn't attacking Blaise. Just confirming the unfortunate circumstances he had been thrown into. Was he suppose to say hello again? Because he already had. The thirteen year olds eyes shifted once more from Blaise to Bentley. "I can leave if you want." |
I'm so sorry for her >. < Quote:

SPOILER!!: you two Bentley chuckled. Blaise definitely had a point. There was not one single person he'd rather hang out with than him and Phillip. At one point he thought that, he'd feel that way about Casper but well....Casper made his choice and Bentley made his. Anyways..he didn't want to think about that..not anymore. "You're right. I do like bad company...moth to a flame." The Gryffindor shrugged. "She's your sister, you should know." Oh? So Blaise knew the unfamiliar guy who made himself comfortable in their compartment. He supposed that would explain why he was bold enough to sit. And what was he looking at? Bentley squinted at him. "Seriously? If you're going to be this high strung you're going to have a hard time at school." Just saying. He stretched lazily. "Besides, if I wanted you to leave, a simple get out would have sufficed." |
Quote:
The teenager yawned and looked around and in some of the compartments. He hadn't thought that he had showed up late. So what if he had talked to a few people along his way back here, it didn't take up that much time. But let's get real what time are all of these students really getting up and showing up on the train? Day one and day two are when the students get up early with no problems but then the rest of the year was totally done for people like him that hated the early morning hours. |
Quote:
This was an intriguing little scene, one Cornelius could relate to. He watched the ferret struggle to get free again. "Maybe he doesn't like the crowd?" That usually did Mustard in and made the lizard uneasy. All crowds except Slytherin crowds. It's like the lizard knew. Oh. OOPS. The boy laughed sheepishly. "Sorry about that, Hads. Hadley." There. Nailed it this time. "Pleasure to meet you. There's an empty compartment there for it you want to let your ferret free." He pointed at the compartment he had spotted student-free. |
SPOILER!!: you two :3 That tissue was going to do next to nothing, but he gratefully took it anyway. Could always count on a girl's bag or purse for something in need, right? "Thank you," he mumbled, wiping his nose as he looked at the girl across from him. It was so so true, she didn't know anything about him! Gunna fix that. He stuck out his hand, sniffling softly. "Lancelot McWitty. Fifth year." Ignore the few shiny snot trails on his arm, yea? |

The boy seemed nice enough, Andrei listened as he spoke about his sisters and his feelings about school "It will be great!" he said with a smile " I wouldnt worry about it" Andrei had been very much looking forward to school as an escape from home, he hoped that some of his enthusiasm about Hogwarts and their first year would rub off on Harvey Andrei nodded in answer to Harvey "Yeah, two brothers" There was a long story there that he wasn't really sure made for great 'getting to know you' conversation. "but just the one of them came to Hogwarts" |
SPOILER!!: You guuuuuys Wasn't the world a better place when you could accept bad habits? Hm, cousin? The fact was Bentley did enjoy bad company and it wasn't like he was any better, not if you asked the vast majority of girls at the school--something he was starting to wonder if his new friend here had fallen into. "No rush to leave, mate. Get comfy, I wanna hear all about these new friends you've made that decided your face could use some improvements." You'd think he'd have heard about a scuffle. Hogwarts kids were all about the drama and the crowds and the works. A fight on a train would be a hard thing to hide. The Fourth Year gestured his quill toward the boy, watching it rise slowly but steadily from its spot on his lap. Of course it'd be taking notes, making them funnier while it was at it. And a large congratulation to his cousin for not being a git right about now to the new guy. |

RELAX? A huff left the Gryffindor when the older girl spoke. HUFF! "I am relaxed. Perfectly so." And just to prove her point, she kicked her shoes off and pulled her feet into the seat. See? RELAXED! "By the way, my name is Dora." GryffinDora was suitable though, if she preferred. And with that the blonde gave the other girl a once over and smiled crookedly at her. This was going to be an interesting train ride. Quote:

Anyone can grab A start to his sixth year. This was kind of weird for this slytherin. He remembered just starting hogwarts and now he was almost finished with it. The sixth year dropped off his luggage and owl and made his way to the train. He saw the train was filled up in the front cars and proceeded to the back. Maybe it was due to the fact he wanted his own compartment too. He walked down and found one. He breathed a sigh of relief and opened it and sat down and waited for the train to start. He got his sketchbook and began to doodle. He felt the train in motion and stared out the window. He wondered what this year would bring. He got his OWL's and they were pretty good. Better than he thought. He did well in DADA which wasn't a surprise to him. He was fascinated by dark wizards and their craft. That was his inner durmstrang talking right there. |
SPOILER!!: d's High Strung was a term that had never once been applied to him before. To be honest Tak wasn't a hundred percent sure if he knew what it actually meant so wasn't going to argue. All he knew was that he came here, and the boy didn't seem to want him here but also didn't want him to leave? "Alright." His voice was low, still uncertain. Glancing at Blaise his eyes quickly travelled to the quill. He wasn't here to talk about himself. Just to sit for the ride. But if they were curious. "Only one person. He started attacking me for no reason in Diagon Alley. Tak shrugged. "I don't know who he is." A pretty flat sorry, so sorry, but not sorry. |

Matt pulled his trunk along because ain't nobody got time to leave their stuff in compartments, his owl's cage not so carefully perched on top of it, held by invisible strings. It was like maaagiiic. Because it was. Lol. "EXCUSE MAY." The loud Gryffindor said as he slammed the door open. "Hi, can I come in? I'm coming in!" HE WAS IN. Trunk, owl cage WITH his owl and everything. "Yo. Sup. I'm Matt!" He gave the unkown dude a quick wave as he finished pulling his massive trunk in. |
Quote:
Yo..? Sup...? What was he trying to be gangster here? Well he said those words too but not in the same sentence. He gave him a nod and said, "Hey." Then he figured he should at least ask something. Not that he necessarily had to. "I'm Colt. Colt Winchester." Now he was wondering what should he ask this kid, "Did you have too many chocolate frogs on your way in here..?" |
Roo/Shan/Fave After a lovely discussion with Torrance, Liv had collected herself, along with Gus, and moved along; looking for a more quite place to settle in for the remainder of the train ride. Stuff was changing, she'd come to realize. People were concerning themselves more with "boyfriends" and "girlfriends", not so much "friend!boys" and "friend!girls". To be honest, she didn't know where she fell on the spectrum of either. With any of her friends. It was just a weird time. So, finding a place to simply think, the glitter!lion curled up next to the window and peered out, watching the landscape as it shuttled past. |

A good brother that had also got a load of things to eat in case the feast was boring when waiting for food. Having sweets to bribe the new students with would make him the fun prefect, right? Not like Kitty... Ugh. Why. He had initially walked past the compartment with his best friend in tWICE and decided not to go in, but on the third time..he opened up the door and stepped inside. "Olivia." Roo perched on the floor, and leant his head back to look up at her. "I have sugar." |

The third year smiled ever so slightly and took a seat beside her. "Th-thanks," he mumbled quietly, much alike his sister used to when she said something she didn't want others to hear. Yet, in his case, his mumbling was evidently more a reflection of anxiety than muttering rude comments. After placing his food-bag beside him, Ethan gazed at the notepad in Azura's hand. Was she writing? Had he interrupted her? "Did-did I interrupt wh-what you were doing?" his voice was still soft, but the fact that he's stuttering had been lessenening was audible. |

"Couldn't decide which of your thousand friends to sit with?" |

"They seem to be doing fine without me. So, it's just Gus today." Liv wasn't upset about it, or angry. She'd learned in First Year that she couldn't expect people to fuss about her all the time. There was just too many people at school. She was just one person. Besides, she had Gus. "Couldn't decide between the Prefect compartment or your girlfriend?" |

After clumsily placing his trunk and owl cage in a way that wouldn't block his vision, Matt flopped onto the seat across the other guy, giving him a beamy grin. If he had had too many Chocolate Frogs? "No, why?? Do you want some?" He asked looking from Colt to the compartment door. "I'm pretty sure the trolley lady is not very far." Matt said as he leaped towards the door and stuck his head out to have a look at the corridor. "Do you want me to call her? OI, TROLLEY LADY, THERE'S SOMEONE WHO WANTS CHOCOLATE FROGS HERE. NOT ME, BUT, YOU KNOW, SOMEONE ELSE IN THIS COMPARTMENT." He yelled without waiting for Colt's reply. |
Quote:
Or so...she didn't until now. He groaned, pulled his robes up in front of his face. "I told you.. I'm going to break up with her when we're settled at the castle again." And that was his plan. He even had a present to give her to...soften the blow if she started to cry. But hopefully, Minnie wasn't going to cry. If she did, then he was probably going to chicken out. |
Quote:
Also, hmph. "I didn't think you were actually going to go through with it." Liv only wanted him to be happy, because Rooney hadn't seemed as much in a while. Obviously, he'd been over the summer while they'd been at WADA ... but when there wasn't anything to distract, it was just odd. That was mostly why things were weird between them. There was a lot going unsaid. It made her feel ... a certain way. |
Quote:
It felt peculiar. Completely peculiar. Neither good nor bad. Peculiar, indeed. Roo sighed, rested his arm over her for a partial cuddle and shrugged. "I don't get excited when I think about seeing her now. I dread it. I hate the pretending with it..." And he just wanted to do what he wanted and not worry about sparing someones feelings. Everyone knew he wasn't going to have been with Minnie for the rest of his life, so why not end it now when he was certain it wasn't what he wanted? |

Because depending on the answer, it may or may not be a good idea. Asher was obedient sure, but he was an obligate carnivore with instincts to catch and eat food, just like a cat. So, yeah. She wasn't going to be able to order him not to. "He's usually not that bothered by crowds. I dunno what's up with him today." She glanced into the empty compartment, noticing it for the first time. "Oh yeah, good idea." Hads slipped into the compartment and held the door open for Cornelius. "Coming?" |
Ssoooo sassyyy!!!!! Quote:

Good everyone was relaxed, it was good for her to know. UUGGGHHH, whats with Gryffindors always wanting to introduce themselves.. "pleasure" she said cooly as she watched her say something and give him some hand sanitizer. She felt like she wanted to bathe in that stuff right about now.. Might as well give her name, so she doesnt have to sit here waiting for them to figure it out. "Echo, Slytherin" was that a good intro? she hoped that they would be okay with as little information as possible. |

Even though the bearded dragon might sound dangerous or creepy, he was actually a great pet. Save for his tendency to go out to explore on his own. He also play well with others, as long as he didn't mistake them for food. "Yep." The boy followed in after her and shut the door so Asher wouldn't get any ideas. The noise died down and it was less stuffy now. "Maybe he's just not having a good day?" |
Quote:
As he heard the older Hufflepuff talking he couldn't help but keep searching for a place to sit. The third year looked at her. Brady scrunched his nose as he kept looking for a place to sit. His blue-green eyes ran across the corridor and back to Paige. "I don't mind at all." The Scottish boy could tell that she really didn't mind either. Why would she mention it if she didn't want to. |
SPOILER!!: say what now Bentley dropped his legs from Blaise's lap then stretched lazily once again. He was thinking that after this conversation she'd have a nap then try to find his girlfriend. She was bound to be somewhere around the place right? Right. But first they it seemed they'd be treated to a story about how Tak got the bruise on his face. What? Bentley blinked at the new guy. "That doesn't make any sense...some random guy saw you and beat you up? Did you fight back?" |
Quote:
She knew that he was anxious about people due to the fact that she had heard him talking to his bear and she felt really bad for him. Her mounting anxiety had already been to much to handle and she had to hand it to him for being so brave. At his question though her eyes flew down to her notebook. "Oh no, I was just looking through some sheet music and composing a tune in my head that's all.." " She said with a grin at him. "I'm hoping to her auditions to music schools so I'm trying to figure out what I should play for them. " She explained with a warm smile. |
SPOILER!!: rofl ... ...... Yea he wouldn't want to shake his hand either now. Tears and sniffles were FORGOTTEN. Eyebrows furrowed to the extreme and not because the lack of personal space. What in Merlin's dancing polka socks did Dora put on his hand?! It was cold. And smelled weird. "What is this?" He grimaced, glancing between Dora and Echo. |
Quote:
"You're probably right," Harvey agreed with a grin. He paused, deciding that Andrei's very short comments about his brothers was a clear enough indication he didn't want the subject breached further. He seemed so enthusiastic about Hogwarts, though, that Harvey decided this was probably a safe bet. "So any idea what house you'll be in, or want to be in? What are you looking forward to most?" he asked. |
Quote:
Woah woah what was this kid doing!? He didn't want any chocolate frogs. He wasn't that hungry. "KID wait.." he called after him but he was already out the door. This dude was unbelievable. He was now embarrassed. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. "You are unbelievable you are. You got no chill. Tell me what house are you in again?"He was gonna guess Gryffindor because he got the brave aspect going for him. |
Quote:
Though there were a few kids around that were like, from India, Egypt, Japan and whatnot. Maybe Hogwarts WAS the only school. Lol, nah, he knew it wasn't. "Nope." It wouldn't be creative at all. "It'd be funny, though." Grin. What was this guy on about?? "Yeaaah, I'm sure! I'd know if I had eaten Chocolate Frogs, wouldn't I??" Lol, this bloke's unbelievableee. "Whatchu talkin' about, mate?" Matt squiiinteeeddd and looked at the guy. Hmmmmmm????? OHEY, trolley lady had HEARD him! Awesomesauce. "There you are, he wants... I donno, hold on- " Matt turned to look at the older kid. "How many Chocolate Frogs do ya want?" He got no chill? "Chill?? I need no chill! Tell me how many frogs do you waaant, mate." MATE. This bloke, mate. Unbelievable. Bwahahaha! |
Quote:
Woah Woah.... TOO many questions in one sitting. He held his hand up for the dude to slow down. "Hold on there a sec..." he told him. "Take a breath and calm down. You got too many questions dude. I shall answer all of them in time." He now tried to figure out what his first question was. Ah right..Why was he here? "Well I am here because my mom's side of the family has magical blood. Her sister and her children come here to Hogwarts.." He figured he didn't need to mention them all and bore the kid. Why did he move to the UK? "Well I don't like in the UK, I actually travel there from the united states." Hence why airplanes were invented. "Nah they don't have a school in America. That would be awesome though but Hogwarts I wanted to come here because I wanted to see what it was all about. I was missing a lot clearly.." he said referencing the moving staircases and portraits. "Why are you here in Hogwarts?" he asked being curious. That it would be funny. Being named after a street, could be worse though you could be named after Bread and Cheese Hollow Rd. He saw that in America. He raised his eyebrows at Matt's question. "I don't think you do now. Are you naturally this hyper?" Jesus he felt bad for his parents. Well if the shoe fits wear it. He knew exactly what he was talking about. He didn't have to prove his point. Matt was unbelievable, he shook his head and said, "I don't want any---" then he stopped himself. "You know what make it two.." he said rolling his eyes. He wanted the trading cards after all. |
SPOILER!!: Buds on a train If there was anything passing between his cousin and Tak, it had flown right over the Gryffindor's head. It was safe to say all his attention was on the story the boy had told though as he got into it, the Fourth Year couldn't help but think this one wasn't much of a story teller.....How did one go about fixing that and how soon could it be addressed? "Some random guy? Out of nowhere?" Bentley was right, it didn't make sense. For as much as people could be strange and driven doing odd things...attacking a person....just like that? "Did he not like the way you looked at him or something? Were you eyeing his girlfriend the wrong way?--You bumped into him and came too late with an apology maybe?" He was equally as interested in whether or not the boy tried fighting back but at the same time....the why would always be his go to question. Motive was usually interesting and if not, the quill would make it that way. |
SPOILER!!: cool peeps Tak took a deep breath and slowly breathed out through his nose. To be honest- both of their reactions were expected, but that didn't make them any less annoying. He knew it didn't make any sense. It hardly made sense to him- but it had happened and he could not tell them WHY since he could not look into the brain of the boy who had done it. And yes Blaise- please repeat it again for a third time. Maybe Bentley was the more tolerable one? "I tried to." Fight back that is. Glancing at the boy who hated magic, Tak slowly shook his head as he bombarded him with questions. "He blew smoke in my face. So I shoved him. Then he kicked me in a place....well... where no guy should ever be kicked to be honest." A dirty CHEAP shot. He would have had a chance if it has started differently. "I tried to fight back but...." Tak shrugged. He had been in PAIN, so he knew his attempts were pathetic and only made the boy hit harder. |
Rula had arrived at the station with most of her family and boarded the train with Eureka and Junia, but now she was alone. Eureka had gone off with Dante and Juni was off with her friends, and Rula...was alone. Which was fine for now, really. She didn't feel all that picky about whether she wanted someone around or wanted to be alone. She didn't feel much of anything at this point. It was at least good that the weather was fairly sunny today, so she had another excuse for wearing her sunglasses. That was one of the few bright spots of today. ...No pun intended. Slipping silently into an empty compartment, the fifth year plopped into the seat, set her cat's carrier beside her, then curled up into a ball, wrapping her arms around her knees and resting her chin atop her arms to stare out the window. |
Quote:
"Of course you're a Slytherin. Explains everything, " she said as she got up and slipped her shoes back on. Made allllll the sense in the world now, really. GAH. Quote:
"I gotta go find something. I'll see you at the feast. " Lance. She'd see Lance later. Maybe she would see Echo, too. Who knew. Heh. And with a tiny wave of both hands, there were two people after all, she exited the compartment. |
Hope y'all don't mind ;) Quote:

She grinned when looking into the compartment seeing that boy Colt that she had met in Diagon Alley a few weeks back. Waiting patiently for them to finish with the food trolley, she could clearly hear the conversation the two boys were having. Once the food trolley had moved along she leaned against the open door, crossing her arms, and commented, "Actually, there is a school in America. It's called Ilvermorny. But If your family had planned for you to go to Hogwarts all along you wouldn't have found out about it." She gave the boy a grin, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. She got all official, "Now, what is all this yelling about?" She looked at the younger boy for answers. "I could hear you all the way down at the other end of the cart." Of course, she couldn't blame him for wanting more goodies from the food trolley. She was really starting to get hungry herself. Normally she packed food with her but today she had been rushed out of the house. "I can't say I blame you though. The goodies from the trolley are totally worth yelling for, but next time please make sure you don't yell. It disturbs the others around you, and well, it's kinda rude to yell for the food trolley lady." She gave the boy a small wink hoping he would get her hint. "She's a busy woman. Let her get here when she gets here." She said grinning at the younger boy. Then realizing her rude manners, "I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Juno Darcy, Hufflepuff Prefect." She smiled, glancing at Colt. |
SPOILER!!: youz guyz Bentley listened quietly and tried to make sense of what Tak was saying...which wasn't much really. The only person that Ben could think of that was even remotely as awful as the person Tak described was Daxton and what were the odds that Tak would have ran into Daxton anywhere? It was slim if you asked him. Bentley frowned. He thought anyone who hit a guy down there was just the lowest of the lowest. It was unforgivable really. As someone who had that done to them before, he could understand Tak's plight. "Doesn't matter. It's not like you you'll likely run into him again. Water under the bridge. Besides I think that bruise makes you look kinda edgy. Doesn't it Blaise?" |

She glanced at Asher. It might be too large of a lizard for him to eat. Might be. Hads scratched her head and put Asher down on the seat next to her. The ferret immediately began bounding around excitedly. He sprinted up to Cornelius, sniffing him and checking him out, then arched his back and began his war dance. "He wants you to play with him." She watched Asher for a minute, giggling softly to herself. "I think his day is looking up now that we're out of the crowds." |

.... And honestly, Liv had to agree about the "belonging" feeling. Rooney was her best friend (and totally like-minded on a lot of things) and due to that (mostly), she preferred his company above others. Even her friend!girls, Chlo and Char...though, she'd never admit that to them. But to be fair, she also got the sense they were in the same boat. Chlo had her sister, Clara, and Char had....everyone. She was a very popular girl. Again, it didn't hurt her feelings. Coming to Hogwarts had changed all of them a little. Branching out had happened. In response to his snuggling, she did him one better, turning from the window to curl up against his side. "I want you to be happy ... and if she doesn't make that happen anymore, than she has to go." It was just honest. Liv!logic said 'if something starts making you miserable, make it go away'. If only she could do this with school ... |
Text Cut: Colt and Juno! SHEESH, what was up with this guy? Was he in slow mo or WHAT? Telling Matt to chill, hold on and calm down ALL the TIME. "Mate." The boy said as he facepalmed, but he listened to the guy's answer anyways, because he had asked the questions and he WAS curious. Always. "Oh, so they're British." Matt assumed about the guy's mother and family, but his assumptions were kind of proven wrong when Colt carried on. HE TRAVELLED BACK AND FORTH? "WHA? HOW did you get a place at Hogwarts then? I thought it was just for--" But he stopped himself because there WERE people from other places there. Like those Botros girls and that Jace dude. HOWEVER, they had British connections, Matt thought. "Just for people with British--" He stopped AGAIN because now a girl came in and, before Matt could GASP and be SHOCKED at the fact there was no American Wizarding School, she stated the opposite. "Oh. AHA! I KNEW IT!" VICTORYYY! He knew everythaaang. Matt ignored Colt's question about him being hyper because pshhhhh, he was not! And mwahahahahaha! Colt wanted TWO Chocolate Frogs. Matt smiled in VICTORYYYYYY and got the two Frogs the trolley lady handed him, tossing them to Colt as he sat back down. Boom, there you go. Matt didn't get himself a Chocolate Frog because he wasn't like THOSE KIDSSSS. And see, NO SUGAR RUSH. Not that he cared about that. He was proving a POINT, though. Hah. HAAAAH! What was the yelling about. "Colt here wanted some Chocolate Frogs, miss, so I did him a favour and called the trolley lady because she had just passed us." A good few minutes before he started yelling, so she wasn't thaaat near. ANYWHO. It was rude to yell for the trolley lady?? "Nahhhh, it's not. She's used to it! I've done it since my first day. And she had JUST been here, so she wasn't coming back." BEAMY GRIN. Oh, a prefect. No wonder she was here saying he shouldn't yell, lol. "I'm Matt! And that's Colt the Chocolate Frog lover." He added gesturing to the older guy and giving him a cheeky grin. Teehee! |
Quote:
The smile on Rooney's face grew as she turned into him, throwing his arm around her shoulder's and snuggling closer. "Thanks for being the best, Olivia." And for giving him reason to think about why he was in that unhappy relationship in the first place. But they...weren't talking about that still, were they? The kiss. Their kiss. They weren't using words to discuss that. Not yet, anyway. Not yet. |
Quote:
...but also, how Rooney just understood without her having to explain. That's why she was perfectly at ease being here with him, and not off hanging out with countless others. Thank you very much. She relaxed further into him. "I added our WADA photos to the scrapbook." |
Quote:
And it always would be. Their time together at WADA. "Do you think you'll go to school there now?" |
Quote:
"Can-can I hear?" he asked softly and looked towards her with an eager expression. "Also Ne-Ness, my sister, she might have some con-contacts for you." Words and more words were easing out from his mouth. Evidently, he was becoming more comfortable around Azura and so he could speak more of his mind to her. Well then, could she speak to him some of her music? |
Quote:
"Really? What sort of contacts? " She asked curiously, she was still trying to get auditions with Julliard and WADA, hopefully she would be able to. She was expecting to hear back this year if she had.. She knew there would be a lot of waiting but.. Anything to help out would be great. She smoothed her hands over her notebook and looked down on the notes she had written.. "Like I said it's not done, I'm still trying to figure out the mood of the piece.. " She explained with a smile. |
