Waiting area for Professor Primeaux As you walk down the third floor corridor you will come to a section of red couches that are up against the one side of the wall. These couches are very comfortable, but please don't let Julien catch you asleep on them. It will not go over very well. Some charm magazines and books are in a book rack next to one of the couches for your reading pleasure. Please take note of the sign that is hanging on the door. Quote:

Paul was getting much exercise today! He was slowly making his rounds....holding the cute plant under his arm, he gently knocked on Julien's door. To be honest, he was a little intimidated by the man, but he was sure he'd soon get over that! Julien seemed lovely! A little rigid and whatnot, but everyone was different, and Paul knew that the world needed all SORTS of people! So he whistled to himself as he waited. |
He'll stand behind you Myers Liar Uncle Julien was a Liar! He said 1st Floor at the Feast his Office was on the 1st floor. What was all that mumbo-jumbo about Torrance not lying to him if he was going to lie to Torrance. He stopped at waiting room finally at the right location. A Location that took him FLIGHTS of STAIRS to get to. At one point the Stairs moved on him and he got lost. Then he found his way back to the stairs and went all the way down to the first floor then had to go to the second...then Finally...to the Third floor. He would have ignored any sign telling him to wait, but nope. There was an Old guy in front of him. White Hair blinding him like the sun reflecting off of snow. Wow that was REALLY white hair. "You here to see my Uncle too, Mister?" Torrance smiled. Though...wait age, and Oh this guy must be a Professor. Now that he recalled, the guy WAS up at the Staff table. |
Paul continued whistling until he heard a voice. "Oh!" he spun around and smiled. "Hello there...." A new one. FIRST YEAR ALERT. Paul would have to learn their names....QUICKLY. "Is Julien your uncle, eh?" he asked, smirking a little. "That means you must be on your best behavior...or else he'll tell your parents?" he was mostly kidding, and was chuckling as such. "I didn't know he was your uncle. I don't know what I would have done had I gone to school while a family member of mine was teaching." It would have been...a different story, for Paul. He probably wouldn't have been as outgoing. His family made him nervous. |

He smiled. "Don't worry Mister Professor." He made a guess at it "I sure it wouldn't have hindered you one bit. I sure as hell won't let it bother me." He extended his hand out to the Mister Professor. "I'm Tory. Who the Hell are you...Sir?" he was being polite, see. Adding Sir was a sign of Respect right? This way if his Uncle opened the door on him there he'd see him on his best behavior. |
It was nice to hear Julien was somewhat of a father figure for the boy. How sweet! And Julien was a good role model for a young man. "Ahh..ten months or so now, yes." He smiled. What a...colorful vocabulary the boy had. Indeed, Paul widened his eyes at Tory and,....cleared his throat. "You probably...should not speak so.." He had to choose the right word. "Uh..not so...well, rude. You shouldn't speak to anyone that way, m'boy." he sighed. The 'sir' was all fine and dandy...but hmph. Did the boy understand? Paul was quite displeased... |

He patted his hand on his pants as if the handshake he was going to offer would not have been good enough as well with his bad word. He extended his hand out once more for the Professor to Shake since this one wasn't so tainted with bad speech. "I'm not trying to be Rude, Mister Professor." He meant no harm in his speech. Hell, it's just how he heard his cousin Ross talk all the time. He got to say 'hell' a hell of a lot. |
His second victim to welcome to Hogwarts was the Professor for his best and favourite subject, Charms. Unlike when he had gone to the Potions Professor, he was smiling now, Head Boy badge glowing a bit as he had charmed it to do so. He felt a bit sad that the previous Professor had left, she had been pretty to look at and was very friendly. The only thing he knew now was that the new one was a man though he didn’t know which one from the few who he had seen at the start of term feast. He took note of the pretty looking seating area, seriously, the man had good taste if he said so himself, before he walked to the door , read the sign and knocked three times. Then he turned around to the book rack to pick up a magazine, flipping through it. |
SPOILER!!: You two Julien was in his office. After that feast he was going to stick to his office and classrooms. He was just about to make a cup a tea when he heard the door. Setting things down he walked towards the door and opened it, but opened it just as he heard the words from a familiar voice. His brows furrowed and he opened the door wider. “I couldn’t agree more Professor, my nephew seems to have forgotten how he’s been raised with his excitement for coming to school. I think five points off Gryffindor might help him remember to respect his elders. “ He would have probably taken more, but it wasn’t fully his job to discipline since the other professor was who he talked to first. “Was this a joint meeting today, or would you like to come in first Professor Meyers?” SPOILER!!: Head Boy Preparing for lessons were always so much fun to Julien. He could really get into his books, figure things out and decide exactly what he wanted to do with the students. After the feast he decided to throw out his original plan for the first class and go with something different. The students of Hogwarts seemed to think they had their own rules and not school rules, so maybe he'd go with just that. Hearing the door, he got up to answer it. He was never one to just open it with a wand. No it was more polite in his eyes to answer in person. "May I help you?" Looking at the Head Boy as he looked through a magazine. It was good that the student leaders were making an appearance. Maybe there were some good ones after all. |
Paul felt awkward. Before he could answer young Tory, his uncle was out here and FUSSING. The Herbologist's cheeks blushed, and he averted his gaze. He hadn't meant to get the boy in trouble, and he felt a little bad. "Ah--I am Paul Myers, m'boy," he said softly, before looking over at Julien. "Er...well I just brought you this plant...as a welcome gift. I don't have to see you at all--I don't want to take up your time with your nephew!" He smiled nervously (and guiltily) and wondered where this would put Gryffindor now...in the negatives already, too. |
Bradson wanted to meet some of his professors, not all of them but some of them. Was doing this considered being a suck up? He wasn't a suck up, he didn't want to be called a suck up. Where to stop first? Brady didn't know what to think about any of the classes. He didn't know which ones would be his favorite. |

This was a total bummer. How was he going to call his Uncle out on Lying to him now?!? 1st Floor 3rd Floor!!! UGH Life's not fair 'Ug Blah get used to it Ug Blah Ug Ug' Torrance imitated his Uncle's voice in his head. Torrance lowered his hand in defeat, but he won't forget this Uncle. There are ways to work the angles, even on you...He thought....hopefully...maybe...maybe not. He hadn't found those angles yet, but they're there they gotta be! "I was checking to see if I could find your Office, and I did. I don't gotta be here if you two want to talk." |

He let out a chuckle at his own thoughts as he moved closer. “No, I’m not here for help” he said with a smile. “I just came by to welcome you at Hogwarts and…” he sighed, running a hand through his grey/silver hair as he did so. “Well, to apologise for the , you know, feast” he said, smiling awkwardly. “Seeing as I’m the Head Boy here and it was mainly my own House who caused the trouble but really sir, they’re good kids. They just….need to know when and where to use their energies” And he agreed with Professor Flamsteed that a food fight was not one of them. “Soooo, yeah” he said, awkwardly again and looked around for something else to say when it hit him. “Oh, I’m Yoongi by the way, Yoongi Hyland” and he held out his hand. |

"Saying the word hell is not being respectful. I'm not sure where you have learned to speak like that, but it won't be happening again around here. " He spoke stern to his nephew, but with a caring tone as well. "Have a seat in either chairs won't you." ** Go ahead and post in the office if you want to still play :) Quote:
Opening the door he noticed a child sitting in the chairs, "Can I help you?? Quote:
He listened to the head boy speak, well this was interesting. "Well I do appreciate the welcome and the apology. My nephew has just been sorted into that house and I wave very disappointed when he said the prefects had a hand in it. I do hope your leadership is a bit higher then the rest. If you don't give yourself high standards you will never meet the potential you are can have." Moving out of the way of the door he offered the boy entrance, only if he wanted to of course. "If you would like to come in I have some tea, I think." Had his wife packed it? Good kids and getting energy out. It was a shame they didn't have quidditch, but that was no excuse to act the way these children were acting. "I hope you are correct on that. I will be expecting more order in my classroom then what I saw at the feast." |

Brady just sat there with his guitar in hand and wanted. Was he supposed to knock? He couldn't remember, he didn't want to be a bother if the professor was with another student. Then the first year had heard the door open to the office. Nope, no one what this tall bald guy was there. There was nothing wrong with being bald at all and this professor dude seemed to look good in all that baldness. |
Azura moved into The Professor's waiting room and she took a deep breath as she knocked on the door before sitting down. She nervously tugged on her black hair while her purple eyes scanned the room. This was her first meeting with the Professor and she hoped he was nice! Especially with what she was here to ask him about.. She only hoped he didn't fully realize that she was the girl that had fallen off the wall in his class.. She hoped he had missed that little show.. |

"Um, well.. You see.. I was wondering about the cushioning charm you placed on the floor in the second room? Are we going to learn that this year? And if we aren't could you teach me?" Her words came out in a bit of a rush.. It was taking up much of her bravery in order to just look up at him! |
Quote:
Anyone was able to learn if they wanted to learn, that was his stance on education completely. Why don't you come in Azura and we can discuss what you need to do to learn and practice a charm such as the cushioning one."[/b] He stepped aside to allow her access in. ooc: you can now post in his office :) |
Bounce. Bounce. Bounce. Bounce. The small Slytherin hopped his way along the corridor to the Charms professor's office, humming contentedly. He had put off bothering the man to ask his question, but... he couldn't keep putting it off. It was too risky. Every day he tried to eat breakfast without having asked it, it became harder to swallow his toast. Even with milk. The diminutive boy knocked on the door gently, tilting his head and standing there for a moment before skipping himself over to one of the couches and sitting down. Floomp. He would wait! And while he waited... he put a book across his knees and opened it to read. Moooooore information about the Venemous Tentatcula, please. |

Going over he straightened his jacket and opened the door. "Good day, may I help you?" |

"Hi professor!" he bounced a little, tilting his head back a bit to look at the man. "I um... I had a question. About... bubbles." It sounded almost silly when he said it aloud. Almost silly, but not quite. At least not to him. Jaemin tugged at his own sleeve a bit, trying to think about the best way to phrase what he was thinking about. He probably should have figured this out beforehand. |

"Bubbles? What about bubbles?" He stepped back and opened the door wider, "Why don't you come in." ooc: go ahead and post in the office now :) |
Haddie wasn't herself today. Though that could be said for most days since she returned from the break, it was much more noticeable today. She just didn't seem to have her usual energetic liveliness today. Though most Professors and a large amount of the student body were probably more thrilled than anything to have a rather subdued Hadley Denaker. She knocked on Professor Primeaux's door, just a few solid taps, rather than her usual shave and a haircut, two bits knock, and glanced around. In her hand was the reason she wanted to talk to the charms Professor: a small, thin mp3 player. Of course she knew electrical and electronic things didn't work well around magic and didn't work at all at Hogwarts, she really missed music. Especially now, when there weren't many people hanging around her. Sure no one officially sided with Rachel, but unofficially, they sort of all did. Haddie took a seat on the red couch nearest to the door and waited. Quietly. It was just weird to see. And a bit unsettling. |
Quote:
As Haddie had knocked on the door it could be noticed swinging slowly open and a paper or two might have floated out from the issues going on inside. A booming voice could be heard from in the office, "Come in" Professor Primeaux was a little preoccupied so he didn't get to come fully greet at the door, but his two words were clear enough for the guest to enter. |
