Girls' Dormitory

After clambering through a large circular door on the wall of the common room, you'll find yourself faced with series of underground tunnels, each leading to a dormitory. Once you've found yours, you'll discover large four-poster beds covered by cozy patchwork quilts. The soft glow from copper lamps illuminate the space and the copper bed-warmers on the walls ensure a warm night's sleep.

Katerina loved her dorm, it was so cozy and warm. The first year sat up on her bed with her blanket wrapped around her and over her head like a hood. Chilling out, yo! It was one of the coolest hang outs in the castle.

There was candy spread out on her bed in front of her. Herbology book opened she was memorizing plant names that she has seen in the greenhouse during the last lesson.

Chewing on her third sugar quill it was a miracle that she wasn't bouncing around. Something that she normally did a lot. But studying plants keep her grounded at the moment. Except for when she went to write down something, she'd pull the sugar quill out of her mouth and try to write with it and stick the writing quill in her mouth. Eww ink. Sugar was sooo much better!

Kay walked into her dorm after a long day of classes. She smiled when she saw Katerina curled up in her bed with a book and of course candy. "Hello Kat! What are you reading?"She asked as she plopped on her bed which was next to Kat's.

The curly haired girl flipped on her side in the direction of Katerina. She couldn't help but chuckle when she noticed that the other girl accidentally put an actual quill in her mouth instead of the sugar quill. "I have done that so many times." She said as she grabbed her bag and pulled out a book she picked up from the library.

Kat wasn't paying much attention to who was coming and going from the dorm. She was buzily reading about puffapods and flutterbies bushes. So when Kay came into the dorm Kat didn't know she was there until her dormmate spook to her. Looking up from her textbook. "Herbology book, I'm reading about puffapods and flatterby bushes." She beamed and smiled at Kay.

The blonde watched as the other girl when to her bed and flopped down. Kat giggled at herself, also. "I do it all the time." She grinned. Finishing off the sugar quill and opening up another one. "Do you want some candy?" She would share with her, she had more than enough to share. She was used to sharing with three siblings and all of those cousins she had. Katerina watched Kaylee, Curiously. "What are you reading?" She was curious to know what book she was reading too.

Kay stretched her arm towards Kat's bed and grabbed a couple of candies. Unwrapping one and put it in her mouth "Thank you!" she said, slightly muffled do to the candy.
"Neat! I should read about Herbology before our first class." She replied.

Reading a few pages of the book she had, she heard Kat ask her what book she was reading. " I am reading about some simple Charms. I was fascinated about out Charms class, I wanted to see if I could learn some more. She replied before going back to the book.

Kat smiled, nomming on her candy. Normally she wouldn't share her super secret candy stache drawer. "You're welcome. I'll share a secret with you. Wanna know?" Reaching across her bed to her nightstand top drawer. Kat smiled at her. "I love Herbology. It's going to be my favorite I just know it." She beamed in excitement.

Charms. She was reading the charms book. Nodding "That lesson was intense. But it was fun." Grabbing a handful of candy from her top drawer and her wand, Kat played lava floor no floor touching. And she flopped onto Kaylee's bed right beside her. "What are you looking at? Let's try some out!" She smiled widely at her dormmate. This was going to be so much fun! Epppp!

The brunette was slightly nervous about what the blonde was going to show her in the drawer. She gasped when she saw all that candy! "That is a lot of candy!" She exclaimed! 'This explains her constant hyperness.' Kay thought, glancing at her dormmate.

She went back to her book, but before long she felt something bounce on her bed. "Kat! she exclaimed with a laugh, when she realized what happen. "Umm I am reading about Wingardium Leviosa, you know the Levitation Charm. She grabbed her bag and took out her wand. She grinned at the other girl. Practicing some charms sounds like fun "Do you want try this one?"

Kat grinned sheepishly her candy drawer. She was sharing it. It was what felt like to her an endless supply of candy. "It's my secret candy drawer. If you ever need some candy."

She giggled as she landed on the bed. Weeee. That was fun. But playing lava floor was always fun. She looked down at the book, she wanted to see for herself. Mmmmmm levitation. Awesome charm to use while pranking someone. Hehe. She nodded excitedly. "Yes. I want to try it." But what did she want to levitate? SUGAR QUILLS. YES.

Kat took her wand. Swish and flick. "Wingardium Leviosa!" Nothing, not even a flinch. Sighs for life.

Madge was upset, okay more than upset. Since arriving at Hogwarts she had tried to keep her nose clean and go essentially unnoticed... which she had... except now she showed up to what she thought was going to be a fun divination lesson, what she looked forward to most, and was witness to some cannibalistic freak show of a professor.

This wouldn't have happened back home.

Madge sat on her bed looking at all of her school supplies, unimpressed that this year divination supplies might never get to be used... well, by her anyway, seeing as how all of her supplies were used. A look of longing danced across her face as she thought about how unfair it was that she might lose out on an entire year of divination because this school was apparently terrible at screening new professors.
