Adi appeared not to notice anything fishy which was all good for Benny and he was relieved at the fact. However he had to keep from smiling brighter as his best friend reached for his goblet and lifted it up. Yes...go Adi...yes, he silently wished as he bit the inside of his cheek to keep himself from reacting to the hopefully upcoming prospect of the HUfflepuff falling for their trick. He wasn't even fully paying attention to the talk of Culloden's children. Thank goodness the Professor had a bit more control and could keep the conversation up. "Goodie...attention away from me," he managed to tease before the man spoke up with a toast. Oh no...a delay. Hopefully it was a minor one. "To tricks and fun," he echoed, raising his own glass. DRink up Adi. |
You two awesome peeps! <3 Adi laughed. "I knew there was a reason I liked that kid already,'' he said, referring to little Helena. She was going to have a wicked sense of humour and he was determined to somehow make sure she knew him as she grew up. That meant he would have to visit the Cullodens' ever so often... oh! Here was a perfect reason! Papa Culloden had brought it up himself! Well, he gave Adi the idea. "I'll hand deliver the next prank product the next time. That way, I can get to meet your kids too.'' He paused for a moment. "Don't worry. They'll be safe because Benny will be testing all the new invented pranks first.'' Not really... he had decided he would be the one testing them first for personal reasons. Stahp it, Professor Cool! You're swelling the Puffer's head. Hehe. "It's nothing,'' Adi said, digging up his modesty. "If it weren't for your patience and skills with Potions, I wouldn't have done it.'' Because the man had thought him about proper research and stuff, yeah? Ohh, a toast! To all fun jokes? YES! The seventh year could not think of a better toast right now. He grabbed his glass which still was somewhat filled with pumpkin juice, raised it at Benny and Culloden before gulping a healthy dose. Mmmmm. Pumpkin juice rocked! |
Adi was such a gentleman, wasn't he? Cosgrach nodded enthusiastically at the suggestion - that Adi would hand-deliver the jokes after making sure they were safe. His eyes flicked over at Benny to see his reaction, but then again, he must have agreed already. "Sweet, thanks!" he said - also because Adi had always been an exceptional student, but they had to toast now - to Adi's and their prank. He took a small sip from his glass and focused on the boy instead. Starting the transformation in 5 seconds... Let the REVENGE begin! |
What was this? He was going to be testing out all the new things that Adi was going to come up with. Benny certainly hadn't agreed to that in any sense to the word, but then he didn't often have any control over what the Hufflepuff did to him. He doubted them having the relationship they now had really changed things all that much. Which was one of the reasons why they aka Culloden and he were doing this today. To get just a little bit of payback against the prankster between them. Benny watched for Adi to respond to the toast started by Culloden and waited for the all-important drink that was to come afterwards. Yes Benny took a small drink of his own to keep up appearances but it was the healthy gulp Adi took that had both their attentions. Now to wait for the potions to kick in. The lion mentally saying good bye to the normal bestie. |
*dying here* LOLLL! "No problem, Professor,'' Adi happily replied as he busied himself in getting himself another round of pumpkin juice. What? A growing man- child was allowed to drink as much as he wanted in addition to eating, right? Good. So much concentrating was going on with him and the juice that he failed to notice his reflection in the silverware... his rapidly dark hair changing to bright orange should have been eye catching. The Hufflepuff only noticed the changing because of his left hand which was clutching at the glass but said hand was now considerably smaller while the glass was bigger :blink: "Did you enlarge the glass?'' he asked, turning to his best friend. Oh... no... Benny was getting bigger too! Adi spun his head in Culloden's direction. WOAH! The man looked like a giant! Then it hit him. HE WAS SHRINKING! :whaa: "What did you guys DO?'' Excuse him while he kept loosing his height here. |
. . . . . . . . HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHEHEHEHEHEHE - Cosgrach BURST into laughter as the boy's hair changed colour, and his expression went along. The :whaa: face, his tone, his question, his everything - it was all too much, and the man was laughing like it was the funniest thing on Earth (it WAS the funniest thing on Earth!). "I - uh," breeeeeeathe, "I mean, this is a breach of Hogwarts security!" wheeeeeeeeezing, "I just don't know what... do you know, Benny?" What could be in the poor boy's goblet? DID BENNY HAVE A CAMERA? |
He saw it all before Adi seemed to notice. The dark hair of his best friend's native heritage turned the bright orange of the little irish folk he and Culloden had been trying to emulate in their plot. The color that ironically was the other boy's favorite color anyway. And speaking of little, Adi was quickly loosing height and Benny was doing his best not to burst out in laughter, especially not before the badger noticed something up himself. Enlarge the glass...nope. Benny was digging his nails into his palms to keep from showing too much amusement at the situation. The professor beside him wasn't having the best luck in that regards. "Nope..." he answered quickly, shaking his head. "I didn't know. I didn't see anything." Just like Adi hadn't seen or heard anything when he had been doused with babbling beverage by his best friend. Turnabout was fair play even if he no longer had very many issue with the Hufflepuff's antics towards him. At least as much as the babbling beverage had scared him. |
ARGGGGHHH! He had been pranked and he knew it! Just look at Culloden loosing his breath as he laughed. And did Benny forget that Adi knew him better than anyone else in the world? That innocent look you were trying to keep on did not fool him, boyfriend. Mercifully, he had stopped shrinking now. PHEW! The now short Hufflepuff, measuring about for to five feet, stood up on the bench he had been sitting on. #MiniAdi That was when he caught sight of the bright orange reflected in the silverware. :whaa: HIS HAIR WAS ORANGE :x3: "I look like a leprechaun!'' All he needed now was green clothing, a pot of gold, a beard and a mustache. The initial shock was starting to sink in and his good humour was taking over but still... he could give Benny and Culloden a difficult time, right? He turned on the bench to face his Professor and without a word, anchored his feet so that much of his weight was shifted there before he kicked off. Ohh, he was going to get you back, Professah! Leprechaun Adi leapt onto the man, using the broader shoulder to grab on to. Maybe this would sober him up... all that laughing might make him go out of breath. Hehehe. Now Culloden had a leprechaun to deal with. |
Deep breaths. Deep breaths. Oh, Merlin! Deep breaths, because he had to immortalise this moment by taking a photo of the boy. Benny clearly didn't have a camera, but this man had! He brought it out, and CLICK! Adi's shocked face was on it as his appearance dawned on him. "I don't know who is patriot enough to turn you into..." CLICK! Talking wasted too much time, and he had photos to take. He was quite oblivious to the boy's intentions as he was too busy taking photos when - HSŞSŞD ONE WILD LEPRECHAUN ON HIM HAJSŞS "ADI -" was all he could say before he could hold no longer and they fell backwards. The man was laughing in the meantime, and tried to soften the fall - didn't want to hurt anyone. Also, PHOTOS. ALL THE CLOSE-UP PHOTOS OF ADI'S FACE AND FANCY HAIR. |
He couldn't help chuckle finally at the scene, taking in the Hufflepuff usually only an inch shorter then he that was currently about a foot shorter then him at least. Benny watched as Adi climbed onto the bench, assumingly to gain some of his height back while dealing with them even though he was still sitting. And then there was the clear realization of the hair color change in the mix. "A very nice looking leprechaun..." he mused non-challantly as he chuckled again. Hmm...maybe more changes needed to be done to complete the picture to the best of their ability, but so far so good in the imagery department. Culloden was certainly pleased, and thankfully providing for photo memories since he had forgotten that idea in his nerves about the plan. Still watching his friend, to say he hadn't expected his boyfriend to make a lung for Professor Culloden was an understatement. But it was still true. Benny was suddenly up on his feet in surprise, and mild concern as the man fell backwards with the mini-prefect on top of him. "Adi...." he got out, unsure of what he should do before finally reaching for the badger's waist as if he was going to lift him off the older man. |
"You would think that,'' Adi playfully said to Benny, a small smirk toying on his lips. Of course the Lion would. Couldn't take your eyes off him no matter how he looked, could you, Benny? Hehe. .................... Great Hippogriffs and Dragons! Culloden had a camera! Gosh, now Adi was going to get a taste of his own medicine. Yep, there went the flashing of the camera. "You and Benny, Professor!'' the mini boy said as more clicking happened. No doubt Culloden's kids would loooove seeing him like this. .................... Annnnnd back they fell! Luckily Culloden somehow managed to not make them not get hurt which was a good thing/ But then... MORE PICTURES! :whaa: Adi gave his goofiest face- one where he wrinkled his nose, widened his eyes and stuck out his tongue. How was that for a memory? LOL. "Lemme at him, lemme at him!'' Adi was trying to grab at Culloden's camera when he felt the hands around his waist. Of course he really wasn't trying to grab the camera or get back at the man. This was just him having his fun but he started laughing now, his hands moving to hold onto Benny's. "Lift me up, Benny.'' From leprechaun to a playful kid. Hey, you and Culloden created this, Dragon. "Got enough pictures, Professor? Helena, Mrs Culloden and your other kids sure would love to see the results of your prank.'' |
OKAY. OKAY. Cosgrach was fine. Okay. Pheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. "Thank you Benny," he said as he slowly got up while still chuckling occasionally. He hoped he had caught all the faces Adi had done. If not, they would have to do this again. >=) "How does it feel now?" he asked in ALL good humour and took a photo of them like that. He was usually oblivious to the romances of his students, but this was a picture to cherish in any case. "The kids will want your hair," he said as he lowered the camera, "but they are already shorter than you, so not your height." Hehehe. Well, the twins were probably taller but not lil Helena. "So, any plans for today, boys?" Since this potion would wear off in two hours or so... |
Okay so the sight of the goofy faces Adi was making on top of his modified appearance made Benny lose the last of his reserve. The Gryffindor's chuckles deepening to full blown laughing at the scene at hand and enjoying the prank. Especially in imagining all the pictures that were being taken. At least his boyfriend seemed to be in good spirits even as he chanted about getting at Culloden. However he changed even more as he registered Benny's hands on his waist and now the lion was greeted with a younger acting Adi. Was this how his bestie had been like before they had met at 12? Or a look into the future children of one Aditya Rehman? Whatever the case, Benny found himself obeying, lifting the smaller Hufflepuff up with a grunt. "Still heavy," he teased as he settled the other boy in his grasp as best he could. As for plans..."Not entirely sure yet," he answered. "Couldn't exactly say anything to spoil the surprise." He would be making sure they enjoyed it as much as they could though. |
Adi straightened up, putting an arm around Benny's shoulders as he was held. "You can laugh as much as you want, Benny. It's hilarious! Who came up with this idea? The prankster getting pranked...'' He was amused. Benny now got a poke on the cheek closest to him. "Not heavier than you, fat boy,'' he teased back. To Culloden he said, ''Feels awesome! I mean I get piggy back from Benny a lot but it's actually just as fun being lifted like this.'' Oh yeah. "I also feel lucky... I just need my pot of gold, please.'' Hehe. The Puff arranged his face in a look of horror. "Anything but my hair, Professor! I'll remember not to visit if it's ever orange.'' Adi suddenly had an image of the three rugrats chasing him for his precious hair. "I'm going to make Benny carry me around all over,'' was the reply. Hey, he was feeling childish. "Probably make him give me more piggy back rides.'' Cue the teasing look at the giant-ish boyfriend. |
Hehe. They were funny with all their bickering about weight. The man wiped his eyes. This had been a LOVELY prank and day. Hehehe. "Well, Benny came up with it. I modified the potion to add the hair." It was a great idea, for sure. Thank you Benny. They had a good laugh before they graduated... Cosgrach got silent a little at the thought, but this was life. It went on. They just needed to make the most of good moments as those were what was left. "Alas, we don't have nifflers this year!" he exclaimed dramatically, then shook his head, and placed the camera back in his pocket. "Well, then. I should leave you guys at it. It was such a pleasure." Hehehe. He got up. "To meet at new pranks, perhaps..." Hopefully. Before they graduated. Cue imaginary tears. |
